When I got there, the old man Ray was so rude..He treated me as if I was trying to pull something by handing him 100 for my ticket and snacks,,,, He told me he wasn't going to take my money.. I asked "why?" and he got snotty and just said no Im not letting you in here... No explanation,, So I said " Okay if I walk 4 blocks to my car in the snow to get my card will that work?" So that's what he made me do and miss 1/4 of the movie he just made me pay full price for, He ruined our entire night,,,What a rotten man with the personality of a poorly raised teen.

It's adorable, and feels like you're in a cozy, comfy basement watching a movie. It's all comfy couches and was so cute and cozy! This theater shows lots of independent films, and I was so happy to be able to support such a lovely hidden gem in Vermont!

You are immediately transported back in time when you step in. They have a small snack counter and two theaters. We saw a 3D movie and it was great. Snacks were average, nothing to write home about. Theater was clean. Seats were comfortable, and actually did NOT fold up when you left (this was a plus! I was able to put my purse on the unoccupied seat next to me after the movie started. The location is good. Prices are average for the area. That's about all I can say for it.

The seats are not reclining, the projection is old-school christie projection, not laser, and the bulb seems old and dim. Spider-Man Brand New Day looked wash out and dull and lacking sharpness. The blacks weren't dark enough, the whites weren't bright enough. The picture straight up sucks compared to modern laser projection, as does the sound, which isn't even Atmos. It's 7.1, not even 7.2, so the room has strange bass nodes. It's the best we have around here, but it wasn't even state of the art when it was installed. T-rex is not a real format, it just means 3d-capable, which nobody even wants anyway.
