It's like walking back in time to when you were a kid. They have their large feature movie auditorium and a smaller theater up by the Main Street entrance for smaller group showings, such as periodic free kiddie movies. Check online for their current showings and one has to appreciate their reasonable ticket rates compared to the big metro multi-plexes. There are some films best first experienced on the big screen, and I never felt short-changed with any of the blockbuster movies here. Their concession stand now offers a selection of beer for the adults. I always enjoy going to the movies here and hope this review gets some others to attend also. So many local theaters have shuttered around the country and we need to keep this community gem going.

My cousin is very clearly 21+ and forgot there ID at home, not expecting anything from it. As soon as they asked us for our tickets they demanded very rudely that we all show them our IDs. I completely respect a movie theaters right to ID, but the way they spoke to us all was VERY shocking. Isla was extremely rude. I don't like to complain about things because I understand working in customer service, I do myself. but there is absolutely NO reason to be that rude to people, especially when they aren't being rude to you. Staff is mostly…read morefriendly, if not a bit gruff when asked why they do not offer refills on either large soda, or large popcorn (which they also charge 75 cents for extra butter on that popcorn). When entering the first of the 2 theaters I went into I was excited to see very welcoming seats, cushiony, that recline a little even. Then I looked to my right so see a shorter person that was unable to even see over the seat in front of them without sitting on their feet. But this was not too big of a concern, as they had 8 minutes after the movie was supposed to start to figure out their seating position, and that was just when the movie previews started. The modern surround sound was a great addition to the previous cinema in this location, but the same small screens and lack of even a ceiling fan really detract from the viewers comfort. The second theater had the same seats as the first but were actually put in in a stadium seating fashion, making the screen visible which was much appreciated. An important note is that I have yet to see their main theater, as they had a highly anticipated film in a small theater, while a small animated film was shown in the large one, with half the audience size. The real killer for me was the lack of a refill. I wanted, very much, to enjoy this movie going experience as its the only theater in the area. This place is great for maybe a matinee where you bring your own snacks, and you're tall, and like stale air. If not I suggest putting in the extra gas money and going somewhere more people friendly.
