A bit tooooo dark and eerie, maybe a bit more of a mix and some upbeat sounds would be better. I don't knock the people that enjoy that music but it dulled my vibe. There they let you get prizes easily but here you could try again and again and watch the claw just drop what you had firmly grabbed. It's what we all hate about these machines. I expected it to be more generous to kids but it's not at all. For the amount I spent we didn't get much (and these are cheap prizes so no need to be stingy). I believe you can schedule tours and private events at other times, and they do some special events (like photos with Santa). If you're local or enjoy Portland history, I think it's worth a visit. It won't take you all that long. The official tour takes an hour but we walked through in about 15 minutes. It's a great indoor activity for the fireman-loving kid or to assist in a fire safety talk with your children. Things inside the firehouse include: -An emergency response simulator -A fire pole that kids can slide down (!) -A dispatch board exhibit -An exhibit about the destructive power of fire -Antique equipment like hoses, carts, water tanks, etc -Info about the building's history including chew marks from the horses that used to be stabled here

I was very anxious since an exhibition they were featuring was on its last two days and I wanted to check out the Crossing Boundaries: Portraits of a Transgender West exhibit which was in its last two days. A very telling section stated that yes, the exhibit is small which says so much. Their permanent exhibit on Portland's Past and Present feels like it has a lot of space to expand. I was very exited for their 'A Fountain of Creativity: Oregon's 20th Century Artists and the Legacy of Arlene Schnitzer' exhibit and I was swooning at the collection. The guide pamphlet for the exhibit is so well written that it brought me to tears. Since I was pretty young and first got into art and the art scene in and around Portland I have treasured the Schnitzer name as I was lucky that my experience in the arts involved getting back stage tours of the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall and learning how everything was funded and brought to Portland. She and her family are why we have such an amazing and thriving art scene here. The Oregon Historical Society space that this is in really displays the art so beautifully. Another great thing about the Oregon Historical Society is that it is always free to residents of Multnomah County and SNAP benefit recipients but they have many free or discount days as well. As they are conveniently right by the art museum, maybe make a museums wander day and grab some lunch at something nearby.

It was a low tide performance that should have been a hurricane of energy! The lady singing the jazz songs was a tier two performer. Not horrible, but Luke warm. It was a disappointing evening. I was a grateful it was only one hour long.

Setup was super easy and felt very intimate in the space. They have a fan and ability to open the garage door for warmer days. Loved the booth to check in on entry, as well as the bar. Would absolutely recommend this space for a memorable event. Easy public transit access and plenty of free street parking around, although plan into the schedule time to find a spot for events starting ~6pm. Literally around the corner from Lil' America food truck pod, and walkable to a bunch of other restaurants.

Currently have a 9' x 9' studio and have been renting for about half a year. Nothing to say but…read moregood things. Reasonably priced and management has been very attentive the whole time. Shout out to Kelly and Syd for answering questions and settling issues quickly. As a community, they also run a bunch of different events and happy hours that are included in the price of membership. 10/10 would rent from them again. The space is also conveniently located amongst many great amenities (food, bars, hardware stores, etc)
