Good: Nice light space with comfy seating and loads of power outlets--Swiss, European, and U.K., an ice cream freezer (seasonal I expect), nice trays for food, and lots of drink options, including self-service draft beer. Wifi was also at least decent (didn't test it too aggressively, but you can use WhatsApp and Netflix well enough).
Bad: Food is uninteresting and of poor quality. It was so awful that it's the reason for my 3* rating given the other good things it has going for it. I don't come to lounges expecting high-end restaurant quality food, but what this lounge offered doesn't meet minimum standards for quality or offerings. It takes effort to be this bad--who is doing their cooking or decision making here??
This lounge would be spot-on for the needs of travelers within Europe if they can sort out their food. Maybe just let your staff cook what they would eat at home? Or skip the kitchen and bring in ready to eat fare from M&S? In the meantime, my string of poor experiences with Star Alliance lounges continues... read more
