Now I won't lie, a Starbucks without a drive thru should honestly be a crime BUT I am glad we stopped at this location. Awesome store thanks to the staff! Bit of a line when we walked in, but it moved quickly. This must be a popular spot because there were a lot of mobile orders going in and out. Most of us stood by the mobile orders (negative points for us for not reading the signs) so Tonya made sure we were in the right area! Tonya was super sweet and I'm glad we ran into her that day. Our orders didn't take long. Decided on a new drink and I enjoyed, but my favorite was the impossible breakfast sandwich. Really delicious! I don't visit Starbucks often, but this location has given me an edge to visit a little more. read more

Food/Service/Ambiance I don't typically come to this Starbucks but have the last two times and each time my coffee is not good. Last weekend and stopped by and a young lady asked my name so I told her and a few of my things were ready so I grabbed them and told her I'd wait for one more. An older employee who was making my order then took it upon herself to sort of reprimand me because I took the other items before she completed my order which I found annoying because I'm an adult not your child. Nevertheless I tried today again and although customer service was better (same barista took care of my order) she had a bunch of questions about how to make the coffee. Then I keep getting asked the same thing, something like do you want the cinnamon in the coffee? Again confusing my order is simple : make a gingerbread chai oat milk latte which is their basic recipe and add sweet cookie cold foam and cookie toppings. How much simpler can that be. Def not coming back because although I can understand having new hires or new drinks that the barista isn't use to preparing, Starbucks is expensive so at $15 for just to drinks I expect you to provide a good drink. This is the only Starbucks I've had issues with my order, I'm just not the right target customer for them so I'll stay clear. Ambiance is always chilled and cashier is friendly. read more

I love the familiarity of Starbucks. This is the first time I've been to this location and it was great! It doesn't have a drive thru, which is crazy to me, but I suppose the extra steps getting out of my car and walking in doesn't hurt! Today, March 17, I had a bad experience. This is not the first time I have experienced horrible customer service with these two employees, which is why I am finally writing a review today. This Manokeek location opens at 5 AM. I placed my mobile app order at 5 AM. However, when I arrived at 5:05 AM, the manager, David (wears a man bun/half shaved), and store associate Sarah (brown hair) did not open the store doors until after 5:20 AM. Including myself, there were (5) other customers outside waiting. David is consistently rude, disrespectful, bad-mannered, and NEVER speaks back. They never once acknowledged or apologized for the inconvenience to any of the customers. We never received non-verbals such as eye contact or any hand gestures to communicate while the store was closed after their opening time at 5 AM. Quite frankly, they were very rude and would not acknowledge my presence when I politely asked to speak to a manager and for their names. After asking more than 4 times, they reluctantly revealed their names. Every single time David and Sara are working at this location, they do not adhere to the prestige and expectation of customer service I expect from the Starbucks corporation. Additionally, I called the store several times while waiting and neither one answered. I did leave a voicemail. I am hoping to receive a response from a Starbucks representative as this is unacceptable as a paying and consistent customer at this location. read more

I don't appreciate the service received when I went into Starbucks tonight. I had a message that said my birthday (11/8) reward expires today 11/9/21; however, the barista tried to talk over me stating their policy. I don't care what the company policy states in this moment, I care what the message stated in my Starbucks app indicated. If it had stated that my reward expires 11/8/21 then I would've used it on my birthday. I just really didn't like how the barista made it appear as of though my request for the reward to be honored was unreasonable. read more

It's My Birthday ! Starbucks so graciously gave me a free drink reward to use on my birthday. I would classify myself as an occasional Starbucks coffee drinker so I didn't know what drink to order. I browsed the app and decided on a Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte with Vanilla Sweet Cold Foam and Caramel Drizzle and a Ham and Swiss Cheese Croissant. Everything was delicious! This Starbucks is always busy. They are on par with what I with what I would expect from any Starbucks. The service is good, the staff is friendly and accommodating. They know us by name and remember the specifics of our order. Today they were out of several items that we typically order. My favorite Starbucks. They always get my order right amd I don't have to keep reminding them for my caramel to not only be on top but in my cup too. My Vanilla Bean is mixed well and I don't have to worry about ice chips in my drink. The reps are friendly and know about everything they sell. Love this location! Nice friendly staff...I feel like they really connect with the customers. Many of the baristas know me by name and if I'm waiting on a drink (I use mobile ordering) they always let me know the status of my order (usually that it's coming right up). Each and every time, my order is always made just right!! This location is always clean and every time I walk in, it's always very calming. I think this may be one of my favorite locations!! They sell good coffee here. And the staff here are pleasant, friendly, and not smarmy. Been here twice recently, quickie stops - as it has turned out I normally use the Starbucks in Alexandria off Richmond Hwy, from a convenience factor - but I may yet have to make another stop or two here soon. It would be great to know that I can trust this place with my coffee when I can't get to my Keurig at home, when it's just up the road from the homestead. This Starbucks location is my little nook away from civilization. It's tucked away in a small shopping center down the street from several residential subdivisions. It is never loud even with the sounds from the espresso machines. I like to catch up on nursing/medical current events at coffee shops and usually have to put on earbuds while I read, but this Starbucks is like a busy library in the most positive sense. read more

But yet there is one cashier and one person making drinks. I placed a mobile order 10 minutes before I came in and am still waiting! Ridiculous! Update: so visited again today (Sunday) at @ noon. It was 10x worst than before. Again one person ringing up and one person making drinks. The guy taking orders didn't bother to tell those ordering that there were probably 15-20 drinks to be made before they would get to yours. The female making the drinks kept asking the guy how to make certain drinks -- which begs the question why the guy taking orders didn't just switch places with her. I'm usually very impressed with this Starbucks. However, I placed a mobile order and ordered a Venti but received a Grande. Typically, Starbucks will just let you have the extra drink because it was their mistake. Well, instead, the label was ripped off, the drink was poured out right in front of me and I had to wait for a new drink.
