Stopped by to grab a sandwich and coffee before an event. The bacon, egg and cheese was good. I also ordered a dirty chai. Unfortunately, the tables were not clean. Upkeep needs to be attended to more.

A cute coffee place with very nice staff. They were very friendly, welcoming, and engaging. My coffee was delicious and my friends enjoyed their coffee and matcha as well. We enjoyed the outside seating. Very relaxing and a nice spot to chat and catch up with each other. In the area? Check Them Out!

Lilly Store on WaterFront is a very nice Large espressamentta shop. I really enjoyed the vibe of the shop and the staff was excellent. I always enjoy Illy espresso as their quality standards are high and consistent. This visit was wonderful. I had a cappuccino and took some time to relax and truly enjoyed my visit. Highly Recommended.

I had the iced vanilla latte and the smoked salmon everything bagel. And let me tell ya!! That bagel was amazingly delicious!! I I ate half and was already full but I couldn't not eat the rest. The flavors made me want to do the happy dance. Oh, and the latte, delicious as well. 5/5 starts hands down

Absolutely amazing spot! My friends and I stopped by for breakfast and the breakfast sandwiches are probably the best ive ever had in the area! We also loved the fast service and interior of the cafe. We will definitely be back next time we travel to national harbor!

Everything was perfect! The employees were friendly, patient, & so helpful with their recommendations. The Avocado, Egg & Swiss sandwiches were delish! My Cappuccino Viennese was a total chef's kiss! Perfection! My husband loved his Cafe Latte. The cinnamon rolls was super tasty! I can't wait to try the lavender mint latte I saw on the menu!!!

Stopped by this little cafe while my friends shopped at Carhartt next door. I was in desperate need of caffeine after a day of travels and adventures. The staff was friendly, the cafe was clean, and my coffee was delicious. I loved the unique design of this cafe, not to mention the breath taking views just outside. Grab a coffee and enjoy the vibe inside or get one to-go and walk along the water and/or shops.

Illy Café at National Harbor is the kind of place that makes you say, "Oh... this is dangerous," because suddenly you want to come for every part of the day. Morning coffee? Excellent. Midday bite? Outstanding. Casual meet-up that turns into lingering longer than planned? Guilty. The coffee is legit, the food menu is thoughtful and delicious, and overall it's a truly welcome addition to the Harbor's lineup. Now, the staff is clearly young, and that's not a knock. They're polite, energetic, and with time they'll only get sharper and more confident. That said, the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth wasn't the espresso. It was the manager. No greeting. No welcome. No acknowledgment that you've walked into his café. Maybe he's shy. Maybe he's filling in. Maybe he's someone's brother doing a favor. Who knows. What I do know is that hospitality starts at the door, and for a place this good, the leadership should match the vibe. Bottom line: Illy Café gets high marks for food, coffee, and concept and I'll absolutely be back. I just hope next time the manager remembers that a smile is free, and it pairs really well with a great cup of coffee!

This cafe is fine. Just fine. I'm not a fan of chains, but their matcha is tasty, and staff greeted me with a smile.

At first, I wasn't sure it was going to be enough food for two people, but I was definitely wrong! They started us off with four fried wings and the fried green tomato salad. The wings were really good, and the dressing on the salad was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were so good, I could have eaten the whole plate by myself! Then the Mac and cheese came out, followed by the catfish and chicken and waffles. By the time everything hit the table, we were stuffed! We did order an additional order of wings because they were so good. Everything else was good as well, and the presentation of the food was really nice. Everything came out looking appetizing and well put together. Our server, Niecy, was very nice and attentive. She made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. I also want to mention that everyone working in the restaurant was friendly, which really added to the overall experience. I only have two suggestions: * The bathrooms need better lighting. I felt like I was using the bathroom in the dark! * I think they should give you more than four wings for two people with the family-style meal, especially since the wings were so good. Overall, we had a really good experience. The food was good, the portions were filling, the presentation was great, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely go back! I'm glad we decided to give this place a try because it really is a hidden gem.

AB (I think was his name) was an AMAZING host (not the server). He sat me at my table and I immediately asked him for recommendations. He recommended the Dirty Chicken. After some back and forth discussion about the 4 pieces the normal DC order came with, he mentioned I could order a kids DC so I could have room for a starter. He was just really great working with me to help figure out what I should order. I did get charged for a full order that I didn't catch until after I got back to the hotel . AB and the manager brought out my food and Riesling and it wasn't until after I started eating that I saw my server, Misha. She was great as well. Very nice, accommodating and attentive. Service def 5/5. Even tipped AB separately because he went above and beyond as a host by helping me decide what to order. He had good knowledge about the menu! The Dirty Chicken was some of the best FC I've ever had! I normally don't order chicken at restaurants because it often comes out dry but not here! It was perfectly fried, extra crispy and gochuchang sauce with blue cheese and pickled onions was such a surprising and delicious pairing!!! ABSOLUTE MUST TRY and would go back again for just this. The chicken was juicy and presented well. There was enough pickled onions and clue cheese and sauce to enjoy with every bite and you should def have some of each with every bite to get the full flavor experience. I also had the pork belly SSAMs. There were 4 with one slice of perfectly cooked crispy and juicy slice of pork belly with kimchi cucumbers and daikon underneath served on butter leaf lettuce leaves. They came with a citron tea BBQ sauce to drizzle over the pork belly and again...surprised at the flavor combination! Very, very delicious. It got kind of messy eating them as wraps so after the second one just ate with a fork instead. Another dish that requires you to get a little bit of everything in every bite to appreciate the creative fusion of flavors. The Riesling was a good pairing for those entrees/starters. I ordered the Sweet Potato Pie stuffed crispy waffle to go since it was closing time (and I was pretty full) by the time I got to dessert and omg did that hit when I tried it back at the hotel. The waffle was still perfectly crispy and an ASMR dream! The stuffed waffle wasn't very sweet at all but you had the option of dipping in the caramel sauce, syrup and whipped cream to customize your sweetness level. By far one of the best desserts I've had in a restaurant! If I ever come back it would def be for the Dirty Chicken and this dessert!

After asking around, this was the only place open at the mgm, so we decided to check it out. It's ways away from the actual casino, so you have to walk out and down this really long hall. They have some pre-packaged stuff and hot items. I wanted some greens so opted for the salad. It was fine. Your standard prepackaged cobb. The other two items looked okay as well. Fries didn't have much flavor and were kinda floppy. I also thought items were overpriced. Especially my fountain soda. How can that cost more than an espresso drink?! I guess if you are at MGM and need food right away, this is the only option. But if there's something close by that's open, I'd recommend going there instead. REVIEW #3889

My wife and I arrived around 1:20 p.m. on a Thursday. The lunch crowd was still going strong, which only reinforced that we had picked a popular spot. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. When we walked in, there was no hostess to be found. After waiting about four minutes, she finally appeared and offered us a choice between a small table in the corner or one by the bar. Given how busy the restaurant was, we took the table by the bar. About seven minutes later, someone finally came by to offer us water and explained that our server was busy, but she would help us in the meantime. No problem. We ordered the Avo Goddess Salad and asked that it be split so we could share it. A few minutes later, our server arrived, introduced herself, and we let her know we had already ordered the salad and were ready to place our lunch orders. She was very helpful in guiding my wife toward the Old Bay Shrimp Burger. I was excited to order the Shrimp and Grits until I learned it contained Andouille sausage and, according to our server, couldn't be prepared without it. Since the restaurant highlights that everything is made from scratch, that surprised me. I ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Salad instead. So far, so good. Then came the frustration. We spent the next 20 minutes slowly picking at our salad, growing increasingly hungry and confused. You know something is wrong when guests who were seated after you begin receiving their meals before you. Finally, at 2:10 p.m., our food arrived: my Ahi Tuna Salad and a Pulled Lamb Sandwich for my wife. Except my wife had ordered the Shrimp Burger. When we pointed out the mistake to what was now our third server, she quickly assured us it would be corrected. A few minutes later, our original server returned and took full responsibility. She explained that the lamb and shrimp items are next to each other in the POS system and she accidentally selected the wrong item. She assured us the Shrimp Burger would be out in two minutes and suggested we enjoy the fries that came with the lamb sandwich while we waited. Unfortunately, another ten minutes passed before the burger finally arrived. Here's where things became truly disappointing: the top bun was still cold--almost frozen. My wife ended up removing it entirely and eating the sandwich with just the bottom bun. At best, the Shrimp Burger was decent, but certainly not worth the wait and frustration. As for my Ahi Tuna Salad, it felt like something I could easily make at home, especially considering the $25 price tag. I'm also not entirely convinced the tuna was particularly fresh. I can't bring myself to give Matt and Tony's one star because the atmosphere is genuinely cool and inviting. So I settled on two stars--mostly for how I felt before the experience unraveled. And listen, I get it. Mistakes happen. We're all human. But as someone who eats out frequently, here's one piece of advice: when a restaurant makes a significant mistake with a customer's order, consider taking that item off the bill. Sometimes that gesture is the only reason a guest decides to come back.

We eyed it the night before while driving into National Harbor, and thought it would be an ideal place to go - so off we went. Silver Diner is a chain with several locations in the MDV area. It wasn't crowded when we arrived shortly after 8am, so we were seated right away. The space is large with a combination of booths, tables, and a counter - very typical diner. There was a hint of retro vibes here, and as a whole the space looked great. Like many a diner, the menu is extensive with a variety of cuisines. The breakfast selections were pretty standard, but we noticed they offered some specials on weekdays that consisted of a breakfast dish, coffee, and juice. We all decided to order a special - and I went with the jack cheddar cheese omelette. I had a choice of meat to add (I went with sausage), and the dish also came with hash browns and a biscuit. The food itself was good - solid diner fare. The reason why I'm giving such a low rating is that there were major breakdowns in service. Coffee service was relatively slow, we did not get any juice nor were we asked to order it despite being part of the specials we ordered, my colleague wasn't offered any breakfast meat with her dish despite it being advertised as it being included, and my dish was served with a side of fruit instead of hash browns. These were fixed, but there was just a multitude of misses that really impacted the meal. Perhaps we came on a bad morning, but my experience at Silver Diner wasn't the best. I would consider giving them another shot, but I'm not running back.

All of the hip young girls in high school recommended this place to me and my friends and lets just say, they have never been more wrong. My girls and I went this weekend for a birthday brunch. I wanted a crepe, but when I saw it was 17 DOLLARS to slap some Nutella and strawberries on a piece of crepe is outrageous. I ordered a "Continental Breakfast," which, with tax and tip, cost me $30 DOLLARS. I wish you could have seen the look on my face when they gave me a plate of rabbit food. All 6 of us looked at the plate and laughed. Seriously, my 5 year old neice can eat 3 times as much of that in one sitting. So, in what world would that be enough food for a grown woman? My friend then went on to order the French toast for a grand total of $36 DOLLARS. Mind you, there was only one piece of toast, and the Inside was raw and soggy. Tasted like eating wet, soaked toilet paper. On top of the overpriced food and small portions, our "server" came to our table for a total of ONE SINGULAR TIME. My friend had also ordered a Chai Latte. Surprise, Surprise! It never came, and they still charged her for it. I think the nice man who brought us our food could see the look on our faces when we received our food, because he then brought us a free side of French fries. It is a huge problem when the french fries were the only sufficient thing I put in my mouth at this restaurant. I please, genuinely beg all of you to NOT waste your money. I promise there is anywhere else where you can get a crepe for double the size and half the cost. Once we left, we went down to Call Your Mother, the Jewish Deli, to get more food, as all of us left with our tummies still rumbling. Mind you, a full bagel sandwich and coffee cost HALF THE PRICE of one meal at Fontaine. Horrible. Mind you, it is 2 days later, and I am still thinking about this. I fully created a Yelp account just so I could leave a review. I think I would have a better experience eating an IHOP Continental breakfast than whatever I put in my mouth at this restaurant. Not worth the hype at all. Save your hard-earned cash and be a big baller elsewhere!
