Neighborhood drop in for a quick coffee date. Why? Because anything that has NEW ORLEANS in the name....BeBey...if you know you KNOW. The options for coffee; tea both hot and cold was extensive. Muffins; scones biscuit sandwiches and stuff were also plentiful. The star of the show? You already know...BEIGNETS! Light, airy, warm. The outside sweet from the powdered sugar. The inside so delicate... I could have eaten a dozen. A perfect compliment to the coffee. So delicious and smooth. No bite or bitterness whatsoever. Warming down to the bones. Traffic in this little spot was popping. Folks coming in and out. There was a comfy couch area and a few students studying. Quiet and inviting. Order at the kiosk and they'll call your name like that other coffee place. Sit back and enjoy your time and your choice. I usually go to the Laurel PJ's, but decided to swing by Camp Springs. The inside was packed, so I hit the drive-through instead. Even with the rush, the young lady taking orders was friendly and upbeat. Service took a little longer than usual, but understandable with that crowd. My iced drink was on point, and the hot one was smooth and tasty--just needed a touch more sweetness. Overall, solid experience and I'd definitely come back! read more

The interior is very comfortable and promotes a quiet off site work location. They do offer free WiFi to its customers which is nice. For further convenience they have a drive thru option for customer who are on the go. I'm a frequent flyer here despite the lack of my check-in history. The beignets are tasty but I prefer them without the powdered sugar. It's not a mandatory order for me as I primarily focus on getting the coffee. I dropped by PJs for the first time ever after an appointment I had in Camp Springs. I had never been around this area before and didn't even realize the shopping plaza that existed so close to the Branch Ave metro station. I just wanted a quick iced, caffeinated drink and often look first towards seasonal or speciality menu items. That's when I immediately saw the Bananas Foster Iced Latter and knew that would be the way to go. They have ordering kiosks that make things quick and simple, so I was able to get my order in and grab my drink pretty quickly. Overall, it was good but probably a little too sweet for my taste. However, that's to be expected with a drink that is inspired by a dessert. The service and beignets are wonderful! The ham & cheese croissant was not good. It appeared more like a puff pastry thus not crispy like a croissant and a bit soggy. I LOVED how sugary, flaky, and warm the beignets were for my first time experience eating those. I now have a comparison point if I visit New Orleans. Ventured to this location and loved that they had a drive thru. I opted to go inside tho to see what this location was kind of vibes this location was giving... Unfortunately they didn't have the meatless breakfast sandwich on their menu that I like :( I ended up just going with a Butter Pecan Oat Milk latte with an extra shot of espresso. That first sip was everythang! Adding the extra shot took some of that sweetness away. My drink wasn't too sweet but you can definitely taste the Butter Pecan. *two thumbs up from me* The cashier and barista were super friendly and patient with me as I navigated their menu which didn't offer my go to selections that the other PJ's offer. PJ's food is convenient I will say but the food and service is not good enough to charge people almost $7 for one coffee. I wanted to go to Pjs as an alternative to Starbucks but I can no longer. They are way too expensive. I also don't understand how they operate their drive through. You have to ask for everything. Forks, napkins, jelly, butter. I got a bagel which says it comes with cream cheese on the menu, I had to ask for the cream cheese and knife... & this has been several employees by the way. They all do it. Another time I got a biscuit with jelly. I had to ask 3 different questions thinking the server would get it. Can I have jelly...? received the jelly with no knife. Can I have a knife...? Received the knife with no napkins. Can I have napkins...? Any normal coffee shop gives you all of those things with a bag! They don't even give you bags! I spent $25 on a bagel, 1 medium chai latte, 1 medium caramel coffee, and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, on top of that I had to ask for utensils and napkins. That was my last time going there. I go to a coffee shop to spend $7 max for a coffee and a treat, Pjs is not that place. They either think they're better quality than what they are or taking advantage of people. I visited PJ's Coffee of New Orleans in Camp Springs around 3:30 PM with my sister to try out a new coffee spot we found on TikTok. From the moment we walked in, we had a joyful and welcoming experience. Two gentlemen greeted us warmly, explained what PJ's is, walked us through the menu, and made us feel genuinely excited to be there. One of them mentioned it was his first day, and he still did an amazing job. The other gentleman light-skinned, with curly hair and glasses was also very pleasant and professional. We both ordered the Southern Pecan latte. I ordered mine iced with almond milk, and it was absolutely delicious, smooth, flavorful, and honestly tasted even better iced. My sister ordered the hot version, which just wasn't her cup of tea, likely due to the difference in temperature and flavor profile. She politely asked if it could be remade as an iced drink. Unfortunately, this is where the experience shifted. The employee who assisted her, Brittany, was very unwelcoming and unpleasant. There was no acknowledgment or explanation, she simply told my sister to leave the drink on the counter. After waiting about 10 minutes, we noticed the remade drink had been sitting on the counter with no name called, no signal, and no attempt to get our attention, even though there were only four customers in the store. I was seated with a clear view of the counter and still received no indication that the drink was ready. That interaction left a bad taste in our mouths as we exited the establishment. Front-of-house staff truly set the tone, and unfortunately, her energy did not reflect the warmth shown by the rest of the team. Overall, the coffee quality, atmosphere, and service from the two gentlemen were great, and we would absolutely return for their positive energy and hospitality. So normally I am a Dunkin girl but I stopped her to see what their coffee is like. I'm almost ready to switch sides lol. Coffee was strong & tasty. Then I noticed they had Beignets. I order them immediately and was so surprised they were hot, fresh and soooooo good. Although it was literally minutes until closing time the staff was extremely pleasant, funny and did not rush me. They were sooo great. They even let me and my friend sit for a few minutes while they cleaned up and closed down. The cafe was cute & very clean. Will definitely make my way there again. read more

Love coming by here for a quick cup of coffee. Their pralines and cream latte is sooo good ! Also I love a good rewards program and they have a pretty solid one . The only downside is that they don't have vegan pastries :( Their service is typically great , but they did serve me a latte with regular milk after I specifically ordered an oat milk latte . I have a dairy allergy & ended up having a reaction . Other than that , I recommend this place for quality coffee . read more

The Staff is very friendly and nice! But the drinks sometimes fall short and aren't as great. The chai tastes watery unfortunately even when we got extra. The chocolate muffin warmed is my favorite literally tastes like chocolate cake. The beignets were ok didn't care for them. It's always clean inside and I appreciate that! I ordered a medium Vanilla Velvet Ice and the beignet. This is the 2nd time I've ordered coffee here and *chef's kiss*. I only order their ice/"frozen" coffee though since I can easily make my own hot coffee and espressos. I also got a fresh batch of beignet so it was warm and soft on the outside with a nice crunch and amount of sugar (imo) on the outside. One of my new favorite coffee spots. read more

When we got the beignets, they were nice and warm, which was a great sign. Employees were friendly. Overall, I'd recommend giving them a try! This new PJ's location just opened down the street from my office so I had to give them a try. I've been to another location and really enjoyed their coffee so I was happy to see them opening so close to my office. I decided to download the app so I could order ahead and limit my wait time since lunchtime is limited. The lead time on the app is 15 minutes so i planned my order based on my lunch time. When I arrived, my drink wasn't easy yet and there was a long line of about 10 people waiting on drinks. My drink came up about 5 mins after the time quoted when I ordered. (Now I know to plan accordingly for the next time.) This delay may also be that they are brand new and still learning, so I'll show some grace there because we all have to start somewhere. The seating area was clean and decorated nicely and there was a good selection of PJ's merch available for purchase. My drink was a little on the sweet side (Protein Velvet Ice), but the overall flavor and consistency was great! My only feedback would be, when a customer's drink is ready, the name should be called out instead of just placing the drink on the counter. This ensures everyone isn't touching everyone's drinks and also, you are aware when your drink is ready. Otherwise, I look forward to coming back and trying another drink! read more

Very convenient & good alternative to other brands. The "tip culture" is a deterrent to not frequent as often as I would like... It is almost forceful with the intentional turning around of the device after payment to imply that tipping is required. I would be more inclined to do so if a tip jar was available vs the forced approach to ensure the staff would receive the tip. read more

I recently came to visit the DMV and decided to visit PJ's for some coffee. I enjoyed the strawberry & cream danish with a pralines and cream latte. I really enjoyed the danish however the coffee was lacking. If you prefer something stronger maybe try another drink. I have been meaning to go to PJ's Coffee for some time to get beignets and finally was able to do so. The interior is lovely, really clean, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered beignets which are made to order, and come in a set of 3, 6 and 9. I had a set of 3 for $6 and some change. Perhaps I missed it, but I did not see the sizes and prices for the beignets. Had I seen that ahead of time, I wouldn't have been sticker shocked when time to pay. The wait wasn't too long, and the beignets were incredibly small but so good. I loved every bite. I just wish the price was less for the size offered or larger at the current price. I wanted more but did not want to spent another $6. I took off a star b/c of the size and price; I hope adjustments will be made regarding the size or price of beignets. read more

Chai Velvet Ice ... my new go-to morning drink! Tastes amazing! I also got a sausage egg and cheese bagel (I recommend NOT toasted but just a little warmed up)! The Chai Velvet Ice had the perfect sweetness and I did get it made with oat milk. The service was great and they made sure we were taken care of. Very sweet and easy going (for those that also have social anxiety). The atmosphere is nice and simple.
