I was here 3/14 to attend my cousins funeral. One of the baristas mumbled a drink under her name and I had to confirm she sweetened the tea twice (uncles order) after that she gave me the most disgusted look like I was an inconvenience to her day. I've been in customer service and when you have bad days you gotta suck it up and keep the smile. We are heavy tippers and chose not to leave tips this day. Sweetened tea - great without attitude next time please Mocha in personal cup - great Lemonade-too much lemon Vanilla latte - great Lemon Ale - amazing Pretty much drinks are on point but if staff is rude... Always double check your order. Been here more than a few times on our way up to Bear to ski, and we've been either overcharged or received our order incomplete. Very inconvenient when you order through drive-thru and have to turn around to enter Starbucks to have your order fixed. I wish a Dutch Bros Coffee was close by. read more

I have been here a few times now. Staff is always friendly and prices are around 10 cents a cup cheaper than in the Bay Area, ...which makes it really worth the drive, LOL. Last time I went they had this big wood table inside near the front that looked really cool. Nice staff. I felt like it was kind of slow, but that's only because when I went there was a long line. My daughter and I were just at this location looking forward to some nice caramel Brulee frappucinos but had to ask them to redo our coffees because they tasted like blended milk and sweetener...absolutely no coffee at all. Most bland drinks ever. So we waited for the second batch of frapps but same thing, flavorless blended milk. They need to retrain the baristas or give them cheat sheets to look at. I know this is not the end of the world but I'm paying 5 dollars for coffee and expect quality. read more

i HATE leaving bad reviews but i am pretty sure starbuck's policy is if you're not happy with your drink they are supposed to happily remake it for you. i asked for my sweetener in my tea and i get it i ask for an insane amount of sweetner but other starbucks i get the exact same drink from are phenomenal. i asked the barista if he could remake my drink because it was too sour, and he gave me so much attitude. i get it you could be having a bad day but you should never treat customers like that even if i am i sugar guzzling crazy lady you should suck it up and not be a douche bag. customer is always right. read more

This Starbucks location is a must stop at if you are making a trip up to Big Trees as it is your last chance to get a quick drink on the way! The lines here aren't too long, the service is nice and the inside is clean. Never had an issue here and service is friendly, overall a good place to stop! read more

Very clean and friendly place, but don't you ever have decaf coffee? It's not like we're coming in at noon. It's 9am and there's no decaf - ever! I don't care if I'm in Angels Camp or San Mateo, CA - no decaf. Pour overs suck! Some of us for medical reasons can't have caffeine. Please bring back decaf. read more

Came here on the way to bear valley. I ordered a couple soy beverages and realized I had forgotten my starbucks card, which would've waived the extra cost of soy. But the lady there was nice enough to take the cost off AND gave my the sugar free syrup for my drink for free :) awesome! read more

Every Starbucks has a different level of service. I frequent this Starbucks and although every single employee does a great job and are hard workers, I'd like to specifically name the store manager Derek and a supervisor, Meaghan. They both have amazing customer service and are always super polite. Meaghan is always working hard every time I see her and the amount of dedication she gives to that place does not go unnoticed by customers. Derek is the store manager and he is still out there on the floor making drinks and greeting customers. This truly is an awesome store location! read more

If you can, avoid this Starbucks. Drive to Valley Springs or tough it out. As a frequent traveler I'm a regular customer of Starbucks and this is place is the worse Starbucks I've ever been to. My breakfast sandwich was tossed across the counter like A farm hand loading a bag of chicken feed in a crumpled bag and then my ice tea straw was flicked to me. I love this Starbucks. I'm a local and I visit this store at least twice a day. I have been to at least 50 other Starbucks all over different areas and my home town Starbucks is by far the best. The employees are great and the store is always clean. After reading other reviews from flat landers that had nothing but negative to say, let me be the first to inform you of this.. You people come here from the huge cities where you expect the same up here in the country. We're not a fast paced city with 300 people in this store all day and I'm so sorry if you have a problem with the employees here and the way they make your stupid coffee. Our baristas are excellent and work hard. They try and make every customer feel welcome and appreciated and if you didn't take the time to realize that then that's your problem. If you don't like our local Starbucks and your looking for assholes to make your coffee then stop in Stockton on your way up the hill. I'm very proud of my local Starbucks and if any of you knew these employees on an every day basis, you would know they are fantastic people who take pride in there work.
