This is one of the most beautifully decorated Starbucks locations I have seen! Great service and a great place to hang out.

Super cool interior fit for the nautical downtown Annapolis area

It's your basic inner workings of a Starbucks but with a really cool interior vibe that fits really well with the sailor aspect of Annapolis. Worth the stop when strolling down the avenue at the very least to look at and appreciate, it might of been the Apple crisp macchiato making the aura, but I thought it was awe-inspiring stop to catch a drink at.

This is probably one of the most beautiful Starbucks I've been to. From the outside all the way throughout the store they've done an amazing job with keeping the Annapolis nautical theme. I feel like if you're already downtown, you have to at least come in and appreciate the attention to detail. It has to be one of the nicest locations around, definitely a huge upgrade from the existing one down the road and around the corner. As expected this place can get immensely crowded during peak hours and especially during the weekends. Lines can wrap around and don't even get me started on the pick up area, that can get messy. Seating can be a little tricky with the amount of people going in and out, but I feel like once you're there you can't help but want to sit and stay for a while. Baristas were friendly enough during my visit amongst the chaos and worked super fast to complete orders.

This is probably the nicest Starbucks in the area. It's large, new, beautiful with lots of seating and friendly staff. One thing I'm not a fan of is that you have to walk all the way to the back to order and there's really no signs indicating it. If you aren't familiar with the layout, you'd probably just walk in and stay in a "line" or with the crowd thinking you will be able to place the order soon only to realize that's the order-pick-up area... maybe the "order here" sign we see at some locations will come in handy here...

Beautiful interior

The interior of this Starbucks is beautiful. I love how it's so close to the waters in downtown Annapolis and that the interior wall art gives off ocean vibes. I came here on a Saturday as a study spot. I do have to say that since it was a Saturday, it was very crowded and busy. I wasn't able to grab a spot with an outlet (I spotted outlets on the long table and by the coffee bar) and I did find all the tables to be sort of cramped with little space in between the tables. Also for some reason, the wifi was so slow I wasn't able to watch videos without them buffering. However, it's a cute place to grab coffee and sit and relax rather than study. My coffee came out very quickly, which is impressive compared to how many people were in line. I plan on coming back here to enjoy coffee again!

This place was packed when I went, but the service was quick and efficient, and the quality was just how I like it.

Staff was so rude definitely could not handle the midnight madness crowd. Miss the days with the local run coffee shops.

Only complaint was that they had flies inside the store. I hate swatting flies while I'm trying to eat.

What really stood out to me is how thoughtfully they've made it family-friendly. There's a small kids' area inside with tiny chairs and books, which is such a nice touch if you're coming with little ones. Outside, there's a patio space with the cutest little tree fairy house for kids to play in, which honestly makes the whole place feel a bit magical. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, whether it's for a quiet coffee break or a casual outing with my kid. Thanks for having a beautiful place for the community to come together!!

You can ready a book, buy a book, relax or just chat it up with a new friend you meet there or the friends you bring along. Yes it's not just coffee it's a bookstore with a real live mascot in Ferguson the friendly Bernice Mountain dog. Check out the drink specials it will be worth your while to order one because can't get them year around. The pasties or good as well, just ask them to heat them up because they are cold! My only complaint is they didn't heat up our pastries and by time I sat down I don't want to get back in the long line to ask them to heat them up. Of course I could just skip the line but did I mention it's small and cramped to navigate. There is a downstairs so be sure to check it out. My tips is to order what you want, say hi to Ferguson and stay a while.

I actually came Thursday morning and ended up leaving because the line was long. I didn't have time to wait just to order and then wait again for food. On Friday, I did it the smarter way and ordered ahead online, then picked up from the Mad Eggs food truck in the rear, which worked out way better. I went for breakfast and ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese biscuit ($10) and breakfast tots ($4.25). The order took about 20 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed it was around 9:00 a.m. I even noticed people waiting in their cars before heading up to the truck, so the timing felt realistic given the volume. If I had more time, I would've waited without an issue. Food-wise, everything was good, but I had mixed feelings. The biscuit sandwich tasted fine, but for $10, I expected more. It wasn't loaded, and at that price point it just didn't quite make sense to me--I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's hard not to compare when it's a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese. The breakfast tots, on the other hand, were the better deal. I liked these a lot. The portion made more sense for the price, and I really liked that you're encouraged to customize them. That part was right up my alley. With all the topping options, I do wish they offered a sauce or gravy option (like sausage or country gravy), but even without that, this is something I'd order again and again. The coffeehouse itself is small but clean and quaint, with a few tables. Parking out front is very limited--maybe five cars--but there's more space in the back near the food truck, and there's a rear entrance, which is probably the best move. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even from inside you can tell things are run pretty smoothly. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that side much, but I've had food brought home from here before by my wife and really enjoyed the matcha tea smoothie in the past. Overall, I'd definitely return. I think Rise Up does a good job in general, and I've enjoyed their Severna Park and downtown Annapolis locations before. I just expected more out of a $10 biscuit sandwich--but I'd happily come back for the tots and other menu items.
