I've really come to love this cafe. I've studied here, met family and friends here, and it's become a staple when running errands or going on day trips All of the sandwiches are made to order, but my favorite is a classic bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel or English muffin. As for coffees, I love their seasonal drinks and cold brews! The staff is extremely nice and ensure all details of your order. This coffee shop is absolutely terrible. I lived in the odenton area for 2.5 years but somehow never noticed until I moved from the area. I decided to come in because I am suddenly into coffee shops to work remotely but the coffee is trash and the food is not good. 3/10. The customer service is okay. The smell of coffee brewing was lovely on a Friday afternoon. So many coffee options to choose from! I have to admit I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in, but the front staff were welcoming and patient with me, so-automatic 5 stars for this place! I decided to order a small butterscotch oat-milk latte with an extra shot of espresso and an almond poppy seed muffin. Both were delicious. I wish I ordered a small regular of whatever they had brewing. I guess I might just have to venture back to try! They have lots to choose from parfaits to bagels or sandwiches...breakfast, light lunch/snack options....plenty of options for all cravings. I've been to Baltimore Coffee & Tea a million times - I love it here. Recently, I've discovered my inner Barista & now make all of my drinks at home, which would suck bc it should mean I have to spend less time here but, if you take a look at some of my photos, you'd know that they have a plethora of coffee/espresso beans for purchase. Today I got the Renaissance blend & Espresso Roma ground for my espresso machine and I'm very excited to try them. The customer service is always good, and the vibe/ambiance is that of somewhere you'd want to hang. They have a cool rewards programs for specialty drinks and coffee beans as well. I was familiar with Baltimore Coffee & Tea as I had gotten a recommendation from a former girlfriend. I had been to the Frederick location twice. But Odenton isn't too far from my current home, about 7 miles or so. I visited the Odenton one time on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. It was a "Coffee with a Cop" event that morning. The staff was friendly, and the drink I got was solid although I don't recall which drink I exactly got, but something in the coffee category, not tea, or miscellaneous drink. I WiFi that whole morning there in a comfortable setting for doing work. So, Baltimore Coffee & Tea Odenton is in the same AA County police district as where I live. I spoke with the western district Anne Arundel County police when there was a good time when others weren't talking and was good timing for my work. The police were nice too talking about crime concerns in my neighborhood like catalytic converter theft and mostly increased vehicle related crimes. read more

Came here for lunch on Saturday after reading positive reviews, and I was glad I chose here! The place offers a various selection of coffee beans and teas in addition to some food items. We got iced chai tea, cafe au lait, bagel and sandwich. Our orders were prepared pretty quickly and definitely good for the price. The drinks were both aromatic, and the foods were fresh and tasty. This place was a really fun find. The selection of coffee beans here is not something you find everyday. I had to just stop in for my fix and got a latte, but I'll be back for some of the beans. I also got some green tea with peach leaves and can't wait to give that a try. There was plenty of seating inside and outside, but parking was a little limited. This cute little coffee spot in Odenton features handcrafted drinks, hot and cold sandwiches, and a massive section dedicated to whole coffee beans. I stopped in on a weekday during lunch and was pleasantly surprise by the sandwich options that went beyond the standard ham and cheese, club, and turkey. It was tough to make a choice, but I went with the Ft McHenry which had turkey, brie, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and mayo on your choice of bread. I went with their wheat which is a sweet honey, and it was delicious! The brie was a relatively thick slice of cheese compared to others (e.g. provolone or swiss), but it wasn't overpowering or "gloopy". It all blended so well together, and it was a rather large sandwich too! I also got a small/12 oz iced snickers bar latter (chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut). The flavors blended well together, but overall it wasn't anything crazy unique. Still good though, and I'll get it or another flavor combo again. Sadly, I did not try any of their coffees or whole beans, but the aroma was intoxicating in the store, and I'll definitely be getting some to take home the next time I'm at Baltimore Coffee & Tea! read more

I stopped by the coffee shop after getting off of the Odenton train. It is a very cozy coffee shop that is well kept and clean! The service was great. I was greeted by the baristas and my ordered was taken promptly. I ordered an iced vanilla chai, and unfortunately it is the reason for the four stars. Comfortably located underneath an apartment complex, the employees seem nice and the atmosphere was warm. I asked the barista what their most popular "specialty drink" was and she said probably the cream brûlée. Then I asked if it's best hot or cold (I know, being difficult) and she said "hot". I love when people actually give me an answer and don't just give me the "well..." run-around. Therefore, I ordered a small, hot, cream brûlée (vanilla + caramel) latte for $5.25 - a little pricey for a small coffee. While they were making the drink, I browsed their selection of beans and teas. I snagged a green jasmine tea and another green tea for a gift. Both teas came out to $11. The coffee definitely didn't taste like cream brûlée. The coffee tasted like brunt espresso beans :( My fiancé said it was "ok" and I couldn't drink more than half of it. Don't know if I wish I got the snickers latte instead or that's just what their beans taste like. For the price point, I probably wouldn't bother to return. read more

The people are always really kind and accommodating and I love the ambience...not overplayed, just a timeless coffee shop experience with no crazy frills. We love their simple breakfast (bacon, egg, and cheese croissant for me, and a bacon, egg, and cheese Asiago bagel for my husband) and the chai is INCREDIBLE. Lately I've been loving a London fog made with their cardamom black tea--the best! We've had their lunch options a few times and like that most of it is on the lighter side. It's like any other coffee shop with a nice peaceful vibe and a place where you can come with friends or by yourself. I've had their coffee, ice lattes (which is amazing by the way), and sandwiches. The coffee is delicious, I love that they have a variety that you can purchase to take home and that they feature a different flavor frequently. The food isn't bad either. I've had a couple of breakfast sandwiches there and they were good, but their club sandwich is de-friggin-licous!! This is a really nice and clean coffee and tea shop. They have just about any flavor you can think of. Many military officers come here for coffee, tea and sandwiches. The employees assist you with the coffee and tea flavors and etc if you need help. I came here NOT for coffee, but for a cookie and I ordered a ice coffee for my mom. My son got a glazed donut. They have sandwiches and even breakfast. I love macadamia nut cookies and it was big and fresh. I shared it with my mom and son. Next time I'm on this side of town, I may order a deep creek tuna melt sandwich or a Harbor ham and Swiss cheese. Someone ordered a chicken salad, but I don't eat chicken. I sadly need to update my review: The establishment has gone way done in recent months. I'm sure much of it is tied to COVID challenges but there doesn't seem to be a manager ever at the store when we go: More often than not something has been wrong with our order. We live less than 100 feet from here and are daily coffee drinkers so we're in a few times a week to buy food and drinks or pounds of coffee: My wife has a heart condition and should not have caffeine so everything she gets is decaf. Twice in a month now we've bought a pound of decaf coffee and twice they have not given us the decaf. This is annoying because we were verbally told it's decaf but when we got home the label does NOT say it. So out of an abundance of caution I will try it (I can have caffeine) and it's been caffeinated. So not a huge deal but a double irritation. Also we aren't home during the week during any of their store hours since their reduced hours so this issue could get morning routine for the entire work week (she cannot make coffee at home). A week ago I ordered a large ice vanilla latte. It's one of their signature menu drinks so it's not customized. The person at the register read back the order and it was correct. But when my drink was made it was made hot. The politely remade it for me but this time they accidentally gave me an iced medium (I paid for a large). I was going to mention it but they had a large group come in and I didn't feel like making a big thing (just irritating to have a menu item made wrong twice in a row). I recently also ordered a lunch sandwich and asked for bacon on it (it costs extra). I got my sandwich and ate it later only to find that it didn't have bacon. I checked the receipt and sure enough I had paid for it. Also my wife always gets a latte with just 'one pump of a *flavor*'. So for example it's 'not a vanilla latte' it's 'a latte with one pump of vanilla'. They will ring the drink correctly up in the register but it seems their computer system doesn't clearly explain to the worker that it's 'one pump versus 'full flavored' latte and she find the drink is way too sweet. Again none of these are huge issues but it's frustrating when... more often than not... there's a mistake in the order and and I'm finding that I either need to 'manually check everything before leaving the counter' or that I'm much more inclined to drive 10+ minutes to another coffee place that I like that consistently gets the order correctly. It is such a shame because we love this place and it's super convenient but unfollow through and consistency is way low. read more

If you want a good sandwich and ya wanna spend a lot of money than go here .... Food is excellent but, they will nickel and dime you. I went in and ordered the build your own sandwich and I realized that they charge .50 cents for every add on veggie so I went on and paid it but was a bit disappointed because I wanted two sandwiches and of course a tea !! Ugh and left paying 25.00 for a tea and two sandwiches!! I feel like I will only patron this place when I just got money to throw around.
