Yesterday I stopped by (around 8 am)to order a chai latte and even though as any other Starbucks it was busy/long line the girl in the drive thru was pleasant and even though they were busy she went out of her way and waited for me to pour my coffee in my personal cup. The drinks are fantastic of course but I will say the baristas here are not very friendly and aren't very knowledgeable about the drink selection. Still the worst Starbucks in the area. I hate getting a drink that's all ice --even when I specify "almost no ice", it's literally half my drink or filled halfway! Happy to pay extra --and I do at nearly $6 per grande--but the worst is driving away realizing they completely ignored me or didn't give me something in my order. Ok, after dealing with my instructor who is teaching a rather dry subject (until he does the demonstrations), I decided after day one that I would need a caffiene jolt in mornings. Looking across the street, I see a Starbucks. Already a match made in heaven. I walk in and Jess is my barista. Of course, me being a stickler for details, I not only notice her timer that has "HA HA HA HA HA HA" written on it, but that she had dark framed glasses that reminded me of a Lisa Loeb look (don't judge me for what I like) and a cute smile to go with it. Definitely is the brighter part of my morning for this week - and then I have to go listen to my instructor make fart noises with the iFart application on his iPhone...for the entire class...at 10 minute intervals. Extremely rude, and they are liars. They're the only Starbucks I've ever been to that has trouble with the mobile order. They give you a hard time EVERY time you have a mobile order pickup and they try to discourage you from ordering by pretending that they "don't get the order for 5-10 minutes" after you submit which is just total BS. No other Starbucks has that happen. What is the point of the app having mobile order pickup for drive thru as an option if they don't want to honor that? You will literally wait for 3-7 minutes in line here and get to the order kiosk and they'll tell you that they "don't have your order yet" and make you leave and come back in 10 minutes. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's a shame because this location is the only one in this area by my daughter's school. This horrible customer service experience paired with the new points reward system that is also insanity I'll be going back to Dunkin for my coffee now. Tastes better anyways! read more

This place was more efficient before they had a drive thru. They are slow as hell in matter is you go in to dinning or you wait on the 'round the block' drive thru line at almost any time of the day. Enough is enough! Everytime I go to this Starbucks, their customer Service is sooo awful. The place is dirty and smelly. I was trying to buy 20 gift cards at a very low peak time with no one else in line and with 4 employees just standing around, and they refused to sell me any gift cards, even when no one else is in line, the manager said they are not allowed to sell that much gift cards, and the way they say it is quite rude. I only go here cause it's convenient, location wise to my work. I went to the Junction Plaza and the starbucks there is very happy for my business and I received excellent customer service, I mentioned if there is a policy of starbucks not to sell 20 gift cards and they said it is not true. In short this Pipeline Plaza Starbucks just does not want my business, too bad!!! Beware of this store, rude service is what you're going to get. read more

Quick service, but only if they let you know it's ready. I watched the barista place orders in the mobile pick up spot and on the counter but didn't call out any names. Needless to say my order was put in the mobile pick up spot unknown to me. After finally inquiring about my tea, I was told it's sitting in the mobile pick up spot. While it seems like something petty to post a review about this, I'd be more understanding if the place was busy. But it wasn't. Plus they didn't add the whip I asked for. Awesome and friendly! They have a great selection of pastries (that always taste fresh) and the baristas are friendly. They tend to stay pretty busy between 8am and 2pm, but the staff manages to keep everything pretty cleaned and stocked. My husband, kids, and I go there pretty often. read more

My order was wrong. The cashier did not get my name so I had to stand there and I hope that no one had the same order that I had. While I was standing there waiting, an employee with a piercing through his cheek came up and walked right in front of me almost bumping me and stood there waiting for his food. Complete disregard for the fact that someone was already in line. My drink was a Venti though they made a grande and I pointed that out, I was told it was rung up incorrectly. It was remade without issue though. The cashier thought that I had two separate orders because I asked for milk with my oatmeal, she thought that was a second drink. The warmed up chocolate croissant had chocolate smears all over the bag which then transferred to my hands and my clothing. The store is cold. My house stays at 68°. But I literally had goosebumps and was shivering inside the store. Though I would've liked to have stayed longer to complete some work, I had to leave because It was so cold. The side door actually squeaks horrifically in addition to being very heavy to open. The noise is also awful if you are trying to concentrate. The manager was sitting at the table by the register on her laptop in a coat. Finally, upon leaving the Asian guy who was heating the pastries was standing 10 feet from the front door smoking a cigarette and I had to walk right through his smoke to get to my car. Absolutely disgusting! Thanks for the asthma cough and need for meds that followed. Only good customer services was form the light brown haired barista who remade my drink. Descriptors only given for management to address concerns as I could not see the name tags of the select staff who actually was wearing one. read more

I love Starbucks. I love the people I've always encountered at Starbucks. I've never done a review on Starbucks in the 15 years or so that I've been a customer. But I just had the most inexcusable experience ever at a Starbucks. It goes like this. No one in line, inside or at the drive through. 4 employees behind the counter and one on break at the table nearest the counter. I sit down for 5 minutes and pass the time on phone and then wonder where my drink is. I go stand at the end Of the counter where orders are placed when ready. The barista sees me. The employees engage in very loud bantering that echos inside the Starbucks. The milk is finished being steamed, the barista continues talking for about30 seconds and then moves the milk to the counter. She banters more and then after 30 more seconds pours the milk. She banters yet even more and then caps it. There is caramel dripping down the sides of my caramel macchiato. There is still no one in line. I get my drink and sit down, regrettably near the restroom. The employee who was on break goes to the restroom. The barista comes and begins talking loudly with the other employee through the bathroom door. Sooooo ya, happy Friday. read more

Terrible. I ordered a Venti drink and as soon as i drove off I took a sip and it wasn't sweetened at all. I went back to the drive thru and asked if there was any way to get it sweetened or if I could order something else. I ordered, and the lady was telling me the shots were at the top and I probably couldn't taste the sweetened part of the drink since I didn't stir it... why didn't they stir it themselves then?? She was speaking to me like I was incompetent and when I got my new drink back(that she handed me bare handed) it was leaking down all the sides so she definitely felt it as well. read more

This location is like a well oiled machine. The line to place your order was short, one person in front of me. The establishment is clean and the customers are so mindful of their surroundings. My order was taken correctly and made in record time as well. I ordered a spicy chorizo sandwich, a grande caramel macchiato, and a venti cup of ice. I got my perfectly made order in under 3 minutes.
