I've wanted to try Weird Brothers for a while mostly to try a flight but too much caffeine for just me. Had a kids birthday nearby so I got an iced smugglers run latte and it was delicious and well caffeinated. Quirky Star Wars and Harry Potter decor. A few tables in front and there is an upstairs. Took about 5-10 minutes for the coffee. Would love to come back!

Sure - if I'm in the vicinity. I'd stop back in for one of their many creatively named (!!) and uniquely flavored lattes. In the Sunset Park industrial business park where Dunkin and Wooboi Hot Chicken are - near YMCA and Target on Sunset Hills. Parking is convenient and easy except iwhen the dance studio next door is in session but you can usually always find a spot in the lot even if it's not right outside the shop. Service is friendly and efficient. Servers are super nice. Prices are fair and competitive. Check out my menu sign board pics. I've only ordered hot lattes which are tasty and on the bold side coffee-wise which is a pet peeve of mine with coffee shops that serve wimpy-weak coffee drinks. Not much more I can say about this WB loc - I'll throw 4 stars their way - as I said, if I'm in the general area, I miiiightttt pop in if the mood hits me for a fun, creative WB drink concoction but, otherwise, this place wouldn't be my choice for a regular, daily coffee stop-in spot.

Delicious coffee, fun and quirky aesthetic, friendly baristas, and delicious homemade pastries (everything from muffins to pop tarts to kruels). Great selection of fall specials.

Such a fun coffee shop! Came here with friends, we are big Star Wars fans and thought the coffee shop would be a fun place to check out. It did not disappoint. I had an iced latte, my friends had a hot latte and one of the blended chillers. My latte was very good. The vibe is fun and nerdy, they have great drink names and nostalgic decor. They have a good amount of seating between upstairs and the main area. We were talking about games while sitting upstairs and actually made several friends who we now play board games with. What a small world!

Good coffee and friendly service. I enjoyed the Star Wars decor. The cranberry orange muffin was really good and definitely large enough to fill me up.

I ordered the Wizard's Delight latte. It is a latte that includes white chocolate and butterscotch flavors. It was very creamy and overall very delicious. The cool thing is that they have so many options to choose from as far as coffee goes. I really love the decor, what stood out to me was the legos and Geoffrey, the Toys R Us mascot. Geoffrey is so cute lol. I went on a Saturday afternoon, they were quite busy, my interaction with the staff was pleasant. I would definitely return if I am in the area.

    Weird Brothers Delicious Pumpkin Coffee!

Discovered Wierd Brothers Coffee at the 2025 Taste of NoVA! Absolutely loved the Pumpkin seasonal Iced Coffee. It was so delicious I had two! There are only three locations and they are all at least a 30 minute drive from me. The coffee was so delicious that I am going to make it a point to drive out at least once this month to have the Pumpkin coffee again and check out their store. I also love that this is Veteran owned and family operated, I read that from their website. The service at Taste of NoVA was awesome, I'm so glad they were there or I would not have learned about them otherwise as I'm hardly in the Herndon area. The vibe the owner set at Taste of NoVA was fun and welcoming, I definitely wish Weird Brothers Coffee continued success, I plan to tell all my friends about the Pumpkin coffee and for my friends who live nearby to check them out in person!

Nerd Paradise. My kid was going crazy for all the HP references. We came for the coffee and gluten free pastries. Cinnamon roll, isn't as expected, more of a warmed cinnamon cake with glaze. It is good, just not what you'd think. Donut looks like a Katz gf donut. Taste ok. But really, truly appreciate at least giving us GF!!! It was busy! Middle afternoon, long line, but went fast. Huge drink menu, def didn't have enough time to really look at it. While this place is great for me, the latte drinker... my husband says it's not great for him , the espresso drinker.

Cute and quirky place! Everywhere you look there is something interesting. It felt like a nerdy kind of style which totally matches my personality. The staff were super nice. I got the iced white chocolate and lavender coffee. It was super delicious, and still had a good coffee taste. Not too sweet. My favorite was the Toys R Us giraffe.

This was some of the most watery and tasteless coffee I've ever had. The espresso was also burnt, I would not recommend it at all.

The storefront itself is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. I will say the parking was kind of weird, It's not a super obvious place and we ended up driving right by it. Parked a couple blocks down and walked over, but otherwise you should be able to find a spot no problem. The baristas were super friendly and patient with us while we looked over the menu. My friend got the (Real!) strawberry match and I got the banana cream matcha. Both were super delicious! The strawberry did taste very fresh and real, and the banana was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my craving. Overall, I will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody in the area.

I've been looking for a strawberry matcha that has a creamy rich texture, with the perfect ratio of strawberry and matcha. I do appreciate the fact that they use real strawberry puree, but it didn't taste balanced to me. My husband got the mocha forest matcha, it was alright. I wasn't a huge fan of either drinks. I also felt the matcha wasn't ceremonial grade. It had that weird Starbucks fishy taste to it. We ordered breakfast as well- the breakfast indeed tasted homemade but not the kind that wowed me. More like okay wonder bread and some protein. Nothing that stood out or tasted unique. I left wishing I had spent the money elsewhere. Overall, I don't live close to this location so I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if invited I wouldn't be opposed. It's a tiny spot with few seats and a shared small parking lot. It's better for to go orders. Casual ambiance.

I got the savory pie that was stuffed with an unctuous gumbo filling made with creole spices, the holy trinity (onions, peppers, and celery), and a generous portion of chicken. The pie pastry had a perfect flaky crumb that held the filling together. A friend had their breakfast sandwich, which had a rustic and delightful tang from the inclusion of sourdough in the biscuit batter that paired well with the thick slab of egg and crispy bacon. Incredibly savory items. I'm always gravitated towards how well a cafe can do a savory menu and this exceed my expectations. Friends I came in with who got their coffee said that it was very delicious, and the baristas can make a beautiful frothy and rich matcha latte. Its both parts technical skills to pull coffee or whisk matcha and sourcing of high-quality ingredients. Drinks make up a large part of any cafe, so to do it well here in this neighborhood cafe is exceptional. The baristas are running that place like a tight ship! Tip well!

The "diagnosis" was a sales pitch, not an evaluation. I was told the machine was "ruined by bad water quality" and had a "totally worn out burr." My grinder had no issues whatsoever, and conical burrs don't wear out from normal home use in 2.5 years. The actual fault was electrical (a triac board), which has nothing to do with water or coffee beans. The estimate was arbitrary. The quote was around $390-450 and included replacing grinder parts that worked perfectly fine. When I asked for a revised estimate without the unnecessary grinder repair, the total only dropped by $50--the cost of the parts--while the labor charge didn't move at all, despite the reduced scope. When I questioned this, I was told they're "usually good with their estimates" and it wouldn't be adjusted. The estimate also came with the caveat that it "might cost more" later, despite being presented as a firm quote. They worked on my machine without authorization. I never signed off on any repair, yet on a later phone call they admitted they had already worked on the triac board. I never gave permission for any work to be performed. The machine was returned unassembled--and they didn't tell me. When I picked it up, only the top cover had been placed back on. The internal hoses and temperature sensors were left loose and unsecured. As a result, water leaked over the internal components during my drive home. I was never warned the machine hadn't been reassembled. They held my property for months, then sent back the wrong part. They kept my portafilter and basket and promised to mail them. After more than two months and three phone calls--each time being told they'd ship "the next day"--what finally arrived was not my portafilter at all. It was someone else's worn-out, broken portafilter, caked with dirt and grime. I cannot recommend this business. The diagnosis was unsupported, the estimate was inflated and inflexible, work was performed without my consent, the machine was returned in a worse and unsafe condition, and after months of delay they returned someone else's damaged equipment instead of mine.

The scam scheme works as follows: 1. Charged $130 for what they call diagnostics. 2. They provided an estimate for $665.50 for the total of $795.50. I declined and took the machine to a normal store with a normal storefront in the middle of a small town center. This other place did not charge me for diagnostics. The cost of repair - $120. Compare with Cafe Techs $795.50. I have both Cafe Techs estimate and the receipt from the latter shop. This is true that I lost $130 with the Cafe Techs, but very glad I saved $665.50. Cafe Techs have absolutely zero customer skills and zero appearance of any decency.
