Great Starbucks! Horrible location based on traffic and the parking lot, but if you're in the area and want a 'Bucks, don't hesitate to come on in! I placed a mobile order for a pumpkin spice latte, today, the day pumpkin hit the menu. I accidentally ordered it hot...the barista kindly made me a new latte, iced, to my specifications. Located across the street from the Ponce city market, it's a fairly large Starbucks that's got plenty of seats to outlets for people to work on their computers. Decided to stop by here for some coffee and find some real estate to set up and get my essay done after taking a nice lunch stroll at the market. Wasn't noisy at all, which was a plus! If you haven't tried the green tea frap, that's my favorite drink of theirs. I ask for no whipped cream and I really enjoy it because the match flavor is pretty strong. Warning it is a high caloric drink. Staff have been very friendly and I've seen them interact with multiple customers in such a professional manner. One of my favorite Starbucks locations! The staff is always so kind and they get my order right every single time :)

I went to this location for the first time on a Sunday at 3pm since other local coffee shops and cafes were either closed or closing soon after that time. Please note that parking in front of the building is scarce since it is small and people shopping elsewhere in the shopping area might take those spots as well. I was surprised that it wasn't packed inside, and I managed to find a nice spot to do some work. It did get pretty packed at around 5 though. Drink: I ordered the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. This is my go to if I'm ever at a Starbucks as I'm actually not a big coffee drinker (just love a coffee shop vibe lol). It was done very quickly since there wasn't anyone ahead of me at that time, and it was delicious as always! There were 2 staff members at the time, and they were both kind and polite. Although, I prefer the vibe of a local coffee shop, this is one I might go to if I am unable to go to one earlier in the day. read more

I am familiar with Starbucks and wanted to stop by. It has all your regular options (sandwiches, coffee, etc. There are several tables and places to relax. I liked this place because it was more peaceful and relaxing than Ponce Market. As soon as you enter you notice everything is much calmer here. You don't have loud music blasting and large crowds of people looking for a space to sit. The prices here are much lower as well. I've been here a thousand times but somehow I've never actually wrote a review. I have no idea why I haven't but anyhoo...today is the day to due my duty as a Yelper and give my thoughts. So this location is super way to find as it is right on Ponce across from PCM butttt parking is less than fun. Just know you may have to walk a little bit in case all the spots right in front are taken but who doesn't need a nice walk in the fresh city air? Of course as soon as you walk in you take in alll the aroma of the coffee being brewed and while I am not a coffee drinker at all, I'm always able to find something suitable for my taste buds. This go round I opted for the dragonfruit tea and loved every bit of and when I asked about the sugar content, the barista was kind enough to suggest that I just get a bigger size and they'll put more ice in the cup to dilute it. Which work perfectly! In the past, some of the teas they have during the warmer months can put you over the top in terms of sugar content butttt this was so good and even the extra ice didn't dilute the goodness of the beverage. I usually always come here for meetings and I love that there is plenty of space to work, chit chat, and handle busy but quiet enough to come in and read a book if you so see fit. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, which is sad, is because I pass by here early early in the morning during the week. I was craving Starbucks and wanted to try the new "Iced Caramel Apple Crisp Macchiato".. I was green and excited to try. One of the guys at this location ( didn't catch his name but he wears glasses) made my drink. When I tell you IT WAS NASTY, it was nasty. All I could taste was the harsh/hard taste of the shots (which was not smooth like usual). The Apple crisp part was maybe towards the bottom so I shook it up.. still same flavor (disgusting). I asked him to make a caramel macchiato instead.. still nasty.. at that point I just said let me get the hell outta here. Never again! I just adore this Starbucks location. The employees here truly enjoy their job and it shows. I have yet to have a negative experience. I really appreciate that the beverages are always made correctly There is no veering from the recipe which I truly enjoy. The lobby here is great. Always clean and well-kept. The only down side here is that there are very few outlets which makes work a bit more difficult. Provided the guests are willing to share that's not really too much of an issue. One major pain point for me is the parking situation, which of course Starbucks can't control so I would never hold it against them. This shopping center is quite literally always a mess so be extra vigilant when driving around. All of that to say, great location, great employees, quality products and overall a good experience. read more

One of the strangest locations for a Star bucks in the city. Often over looked, but power outlet ranking a 10. This shopping center use to be one of the only hubs on the Ponce De leon strip with parking. When they out this in before the renovation of Ponce City market it was a novelty and one of the first developments in this area. It's lost some of its importance with Ponce City market looming across the street with it's ultra trendy offerings. Thus location has a great staff as the other reviews point out. Workers are still waiting to jump in trucks for the day outside this location. Film students are running around the parking lot with film equipment. All the Atlanta transient worker bee's are head phones on in America's mobile office. This place hits a special corner of convince, it's all about the free parking guys! read more

I then asked her to remake it please and she looked at me crazy until I told her it got wet then she said oh and walked away to ask someone else to remake it. She didn't wash her hands after wiping the counter. But when she walked away she shrugged her shoulders at the other employees and moved her hands around gesturing "duh". She delayed my order and had it sitting on the counter after I asked why she had an attitude. I made a quick decision to visit this Starbucks location on my way to work on a Monday morning. It's the only location on my way to Emory Midtown, where I work, and I was craving a real cup of coffee instead of bad hospital cafeteria coffee. I had never stopped in because of the impossible parking lot that is Midtown Place I used to stop by Whole Foods on my lunch break but, after taking nearly my entire break to park, I gave up. It is on an extremely busy stretch of Ponce, with City Market across the street. I probably wouldn't attempt to go there anytime after noon, so no wine for me! But, early morning isn't too bad. I was very impressed with this SBUX location. It is huge! More like a restaurant than a coffee shop. Great place to read, work, or just stare out the window. Very clean and quiet (of course, it was 8:40- ish on a Monday morning; I'm sure it isn't quiet all the time). I might make this location my before work place to sit, have a coffee, and prepare myself for my day. Some reviewers have commented on the day laborers who gather in front and homeless people. I don't have any issue with either; Ponce is an eclectic mix of young professionals, artsy types, and people trying to earn a dollar. As long as I don't feel threatened (which I didn't), I'm fine. read more

My favorite spot to study! Comfy sofas, hi boys, square tables with chairs if you need more space for laptops, soft music playing as well as patio seating. The Internet connection is super fast. There is a wall of cute mugs, sandwiches, fruit, pastries, snacks and of course coffee and tea products to purchase. This location is very clean with great lighting. They even have a pad lock on the restrooms; you must get the code from the barista. Don't worry, the staff is super friendly and the service is quick. Food/drink: My friend purchased what he thought was a turkey sandwich but it turned out to be turkey with stuffing and cranberry sandwiched between two slices of wheat bread. His face was priceles, he even did the food dance. I guess it was like a party in his mouth. Lol. I'm a little less adventurous; I always order the Chai Latte (which is so fabulous, I make it at home also. However, I purchase the concentrated Tazo Cinnamon Chai Latte from Walmart because it is cheaper at ($2.99 a carton) and the only place I've found the decaf version. Sorry, Starbucks ). But I guess I'll try food the next time; I usually eat at a nearby spot after studying. Additional tip: use the starbucks app, reload that virtual card and order from your smart device. This is a beautiful Starbucks. It has great parking. Drinks are made well. There's lots of space. It's across from the hippest place in town, Ponce City Market. So why 3 stars? Because it has a great number of homeless folks who hang out there. And for me, that's a bit unsettling at a Starbucks. This area of Ponce de Leon, because of the Home Depot, has a lot of folks outside hustling for day labor work. Unfortunately, they congregate around the parking lot of the Starbucks. And that's actually not that annoying as it literally are folks looking to do work and will not affect your trip into the Starbucks. However, once inside, this beautiful space, which is much larger than any Starbucks in the City, you will notice a good number of homeless folks. That can be a little unsettling. The coffee drink I order all of the time was perfect. The ambiance looked like it could be great. The folks who designed this place should be proud. Great light and great space. But it feels a little unsafe for me and I have a high tolerance for that kind of environment. read more

This is my usual location for Starbucks. I live about a mile from it. I usually stop by before work to grab a cup and go. I usually make my orders right on the app so I can skip the line and walk straight to pick up. I often get annoyed stares from customers waiting in line ... 'Who the heck is this guy walking straight to pick up and getting his drink ... We have been waiting here for hours...' That's when I flash my phone ... 'Online order ... Don't worry I'm not cutting in line... Using the app to order ahead!' Well any who, I always order the same thing, depending on my mood I switch the size from tall to grande or vice verse. I always order the dark roast, regular amount of soy, shot of espresso, and a pump of toffee. *** This is the location which got me started with my Starbucks coffee craze. Turning me biased to love their coffee more than others. The baristas are friendly and very efficient in completing orders. I see their hustle and bustle ... But efficient. And they make my drink perfect every time. No matter who the barista may be. The drink is still hot (not warm) and taste of my coffee perfect. Coffee fresh, nutty from the toffee and smooth from the soy milk. Some locations can't get that right (not naming any names - Auburn, Alabama located right on exit 57 Starbucks). Clover Brewing is the s---, mayne. I know that a Starbucks is a Starbucks, so it normally would be a waste of time to review one. But this place had something I'd read about but never seen: A $25,000 Clover Brewing machine. I don't completely understand how it works, but the coffee turned out better than normal. They dump the grounds into what looks like an espresso maker from a space station, then let the machine do its work. Next a little faucet on top comes on, and the water and grounds slosh around in a miniature whirlpool. I think they said something about reverse-suction. When it's done a mound of spent grounds in the shape of an oversized hockey puck is pushed to the top, and they rake it off with a metal squeegee. I'm sure I'll be entertained by watching at least 2 more times. The coffee did taste better. I'm normally not a fan of Starbucks because it has more of an acid bite and char flavor than Dunkin or a neighborhood joint. But this stuff has milder, more rounded flavors and some good complexities. It's enough to make me want to go back. I think my cup was about 20 cents more because I picked the fancy Malawi blend. The decor of the new place is modern and sleek, even more so than your average Starbucks. And the baristas were extremely nice, talkative and helpful. I imagine this is because it just opened Saturday. I'll definitely throw this in with my Dunkin-Inman Perk-San Francisco rotation. read more

The parking lot at this Starbucks is a cluster. It shares a lot with the Whole Foods and TJ Maxx, so the spaces immediately nearby are always full, meaning you need to budget an extra five minutes into any trip here to hike from your car to the store and back again. They do have two spaces for 15 minute parking, but they are always full, so plan accordingly. This location is one of the Starbucks locations that serves alcohol in the evening. While this sounds cool, this means they're always slammed with people, so I wouldn't plan on coming here with a study group or to meet up with anyone after 4pm. This also means they put away a lot of their refrigerated coffee accoutrements at 4pm (2% milk, skim milk, etc), so you'll have to ask is you want anything other than half and half for your coffee. The baristas here do get credit for always being incredibly nice and friendly, and apparently this is where the APD officers come to hang out, so you know you're safe (while you're inside at least). read more
