Title: Flavor Explosion, Soulful Hospitality & a Last-Minute Meal That Turned Magical Let me just say this: what started as a "quick bite before closing" turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. We arrived at The Poach Social about 20 minutes before closing, unsure if we'd be rushed--but instead, we were welcomed with warmth and ease. Lived the ambiance. Hunter, our server, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made us feel taken care of from the very start. Then came Victor, the owner and chef--and this is where things shifted from good to special. Without us even asking, he recommended a mocktail that felt like it was made just for me: a sorrel-based drink layered with ginger, spice, herbs, and fresh fruit. It was refreshing, balanced, and honestly one of the best non-alcoholic drinks I've had. We started with the jerk egg rolls... and I'm not exaggerating when I say we were clapping after the first bite. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, with a sweet-spicy sauce that just worked. We immediately knew we'd be taking more to go. For the main course, we ordered the Poach Social breakfast plate and the blackened salmon with polenta. The breakfast plate was comforting and well-executed, but the salmon dish? Absolutely unforgettable. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth texture, with creamy polenta and a rich sauce that brought everything together. It was a full-on flavor experience. The timing of everything--from drinks to apps to entrées--was seamless. Hunter checked in at the perfect moments, never too much, never too little. We ended up in a lovely conversation with Victor, who is not only talented but genuinely kind and passionate. He brought us complimentary slices of carrot cake, and even though we were already full... we ate every bite. No regrets. It was phenomenal. What I loved most is that this place doesn't just serve food--it creates an experience. There's intention, care, and heart behind everything. If you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and go. This place deserves to thrive. We will absolutely be back.

This place was delicious! There isn't much outdoor seating, only 2 tables, but I did sit outside because I was looking for more of a quiet vibe. But the inside was lovely. Service was still amazing and I was served well throughout my entire experience. One thing I have to rave about is the jerk chicken egg rolls. This place has a Caribbean spin to some classic dishes and I can't wait to go back and try some other things in the menu. The parking lot is small, but there is street parking nearby. Would definitely recommend for a nice lunch or brunch!

My girlfriend and I wanted to have brunch so we ordered the French toast, shrimp and grits, the jerk, chicken eggrolls, and the avocado toast with some mock tails and cocktails. The food was very good, but it did take a little time. I believe because it's a scratch kitchen. It was worth the wait. Our servers name was Langston and he took really good care of us. He made sure to check on us and explain the menu as well. Our drinks did take a lot more time to get to the table. It's a cute and trendy place, but the only thing I would change was the placing of tables because when people are passing by, it was very difficult. If someone was in a wheelchair, it could be a problem getting into the tight spaces. The last thing would also be drink order is coming out in a timely manner. Overall, service was great and food was very good.

The poached tomato jam sandwich was terrific, and if you get it, go ahead and order the potatoes. They were fried crispy and accompanied by yummy onions and peppers. The jerk, chicken, eggrolls, waffle, and chicken, and pancake were also really great.

The food here is extremely delicious! We got the jerk chicken egg rolls a10/10. Also, the waffle tower with chicken and the salmon polante and it was one of the best seafood plates I've had. The service was great. She was extremely attentive! Definitely recommend this place

Poach Social is an unassuming spot in the Summerhill neighborhood. At first, I was worried about parking, especially on a Sunday, but there was plenty of street parking. Since I was by myself, I was seated pretty promptly. Taking in the ambiance, it's almost like coming into someone's kickback at their house. Music was great. I was immediately greeted and my drink order was taken. When my waitress came back with my drink order, she gave me several suggestions on what to try. Honestly everything on the menu looked good. I chose the jerk eggrolls and the salmon polenta because I still kind of wanted some breakfast. The jerk eggrolls were so so so good! The Salmon polenta was just okay-I probably should have gone with my instinct to get the SLT. Outside of that, everything was great. They do automatic 20% gratuity, FYI. I will be back soon, hopefully.

Easy online reservations but be aware it requires a credit card. Small parking lot as it is shared with other businesses but street parking available. Hostess and our server were very nice. Another tall gentleman working was also very nice and helpful. Took a while for food but it was crowded during brunch and a few large parties. Nice drink and food selection. One order was incorrect which was big in adding pork when the person does not eat pork. No accommodations with a discount, food offering or anything for if a food allergy that would have been a big miss. Replacement came fast.

We had a great group experience at Poach Social for brunch. I ordered the salmon lox sandwich, which paired smoked salmon with crisp Texas toast, cream cheese, fresh lettuce, and tomato. Every component worked well together. The entire table enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. During our visit, the owner stopped by to chat and shared the concept and inspiration behind the restaurant. The combination of good food and welcoming hospitality made for an excellent visit.

This is a Jamaican-owned American brunch spot in the Summerhill neighborhood. The restaurant has a small shared parking lot, but there's also plenty of street parking. Upon entry, you're warmly greeted, and the space feels cozy and intimate. I went with my mom, and we were seated right away. We shared the shrimp appetizer and gave it five stars. We both ordered the Elderberry drink -- I added gin to mine to turn it from a mocktail into a cocktail, and it was exquisite. We both had the SLT and added pickled red onions, which took it from a 7 to an 8. Definitely recommend for a quick brunch -- they got us in and out!

Had such a nice experience at Poach Social! The restaurant is a little small and tucked away, but honestly that just adds to the charm. Definitely one of those hidden gems that's well worth finding. The staff was extremely attentive and you could really see the teamwork. Everyone worked together seamlessly to get food and drinks out quickly, and we never felt like we were waiting long for anything. The food is also affordable, which is always a plus. I ordered the veggie omelette and added smoked sausage. The sausage was flavorful and cooked really well -- definitely the standout -- but I will say it felt a little heavy for breakfast. The vegetables tasted super fresh, which I appreciated, though I do wish they were cut up a bit smaller inside the omelette for a better texture balance. Overall, it's absolutely worth trying. Great service, good prices, and fresh food in a cozy setting. I'd definitely come back!

Came here on a Saturday for brunch with my sister and niece after her game. We didn't have any reservations but Josephine (I believe was her name) was able to accommodate us and seat us immediately. The couple sitting next to us dined there frequently and told us we couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu. And they were right! For drinks, we started with an espresso martini, strawberry lemonade, and the one love. We all liked our beverages. For brunch, we had the Poach Social Veggie Omelet (protein added), waffle tower, and the shrimp and grits. We all scraped our plates! Even my niece who eats like a bird finished her entire meal! We bought a to go meal for my mom and she loved the veggie omelet too! Parking: They are doing construction around the area but parking was easy and free. We parked on the street close to the venue because the lot was full. Music: They played a solid selection of R&B songs, both old school and new school. I would definitely stop by again for a chill brunch vibe.

5/5 stars - Solid brunch spot, we'll definitely be back! Visited on a Saturday morning around 11:30 AM--no reservation needed, and we got seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise for a weekend brunch spot. Parking is super easy with plenty of free roadside spots right by the restaurant. The roads in the area are a bit raggedy, but it felt safe and no big hassle. The place has a medium-sized interior with a few outdoor tables. Seating is fairly close together, but not uncomfortably so--nothing deal-breaking. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Food came out prepared to order, nice and hot. The grits were extra creamy and done in that real Southern style--wholesome and comforting. I went with the veggie omelet, and the ingredients were super fresh with big chunks of veggies (not the usual tiny dice), plus the eggs tasted genuinely fresh, not like the liquid egg stuff you sometimes get elsewhere. The highlight for me was the chicken sausage--super flavorful and packed with taste. My fiancé loved the pork sausage just as much; it was hearty and wholesome. Ambiance is solid--not basic, but nothing overly fancy either. It's a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes--great value overall. Quality food, quick service, and a really good experience all around. We'll absolutely be stopping by again next time we're in town. 5/5 - Highly recommend!

This neighborhood restaurant was the perfect spot for our friends' meetup. From the warm greeting at the door to our attentive waiter and the chef's special touch in perfecting our dishes--it was a true mood booster! I loved the ambiance--cozy and homegrown with a hint of oasis vibes. We kicked things off with rounds of hot and iced coffee. While the drink menu had plenty of tempting options, we decided to keep it simple. At our server's suggestion, we started with the jerk rolls, and wow--they were bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I ordered shrimp and grits with a side of fried chicken, and every bite was savory, satisfying, and filling. Around the table, we also enjoyed the salmon salad and a pasta dish, both of which earned rave reviews from my friends. Everyone left happy (and full), and I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their breakfast menu. If you're thinking of stopping by, don't hesitate--this spot is worth it!

The reason for 3 stars is that the food was mid (I would love to give 3.5 stars if I could). Some dishes stood out - the peanut noodles, the lobster with the same noodles, salmon crudo, and wings were pretty good too. Everything else was either not great or very mid - the platter, calamari, salmon was not crispy skin and was overcooked, fries, sardine bruschetta. We spent $400 with tip and I only liked or remembered about 20% of what we ordered. Drinks are beautiful and creative.
