I had no idea exactly what this place was. My colleague kept referring to it as just a Moose. And a lot of use know that means something else, more in lines with a bar. The person that invited us out to here for the event didn't give us much information about what we should expect. But I am happy I came here, because of how unique of a place this is. Most people would assume that this may be a place for ice cream and you'd be partially right. This place is a mix of things that you would not expect. First and foremost, it is a well used coffee shop. Even though there is a well known national competitor right up the road. There is a steady stream of vehicles in and out throughout the day. Inside, in the coffee portion of the space, it gives definite coffee shop vibes. Couches, armchairs, tables, books, magazines, etc. That coziness could be a big draw on a cold day. I had myself a chai tea latte from here and it was delicious. They are quick with their ordering process and making of the drink. What else is here you ask? Well, let me tell you. There is an ice cream parlor tucked away on the opposite side of the coffee shop. You can enter this through the coffee shop or from the outside entrance on the side of the building. This area, then leads you to another location on the lot. Putt-Putt. Behind the building, there is a miniature golf course built into the hillside. One that is West Virginian history themed. Another thing this place has is an indoor climbing wall. I didn't get a chance to check that out.

I have a great grilled cheese with bacon and a perfect iced americano. After I was done with the food I tried to call for an Uber or Lyft...haha. No luck. When learning of my predicament Sheri the supervisor called around to see if she could find me a ride. In the mean time one of the other customers, a nice young man named Joshua offered me a ride back to my hotel. Over the past year, a trying one for me, I have come to truly understand how meaningful the kindness of a stranger can be. There are serious problems here. During our final visit, we had to wait for the barista to finish mopping the floor before they would make the ordered and paid-for drink. Minutes went by. No problem. We all appreciate a clean environment. Then, when the drink had finished blending, the barista decided it was more important to chat with the cashier. We requested that they postpone their private conversation and to just finish the order by pouring the drink from the blender and handing it over to us. The barista blew their gasket because they do not understand work, customer service, or have common decency toward the customer. Avoid this place at all cost.
