Delicious Donuts

We are from Atlanta Georgia and we are here for a tattoo convention we came to The Connection and the donuts and the bagels were bomb !!! Very people and great customer service

Here visiting from Arizona and saw this little gem of a place on my morning walk. I Convinced my granddaughter to go on a walk with me the next day for the cost of a donut. Oh my gosh. Literally the best donut we've ever had. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and the customer service was awesome!!! It was good that we were only halfway through our walk as we needed the other half to walk off all that sweetness, lol. Definitely recommend!!

I broke my diet for these donuts and it was totally worth it. First of all, they advertise having "the best coffee" And I'd say that advertisement is correct. I ordered a vanilla coffee with cream and wow- best coffee I've had! Price was on the expensive side. That was the Only downfall. It was $27 for 6 donuts, a coffee, a latte and 2 mills for our boys. Around where I'm From that would have been under $15. So that was the only downfall. Very expensive. And not a total downfall but on the different side- I am an apple fritter fanatic. This was the first apple fritter I had that had an apple pie like filling. So that was just different to me, I didn't really care for it all that much but the creme filled donut I had was great! The boys ordered Oreo chocolate donuts and they were on a sugar high for quite some time (lol) Note to self- do not let your children eat these donuts then drive 2 hours in car- too much energy . Coffee was great, never had anything taste like it before !

A sweet spot for your sweet tooth if you're ever passing through Beckley! This place opens as early as 5AM, which is a godsend for road trippers. They have a big variety of donuts/donut holes in the morning (I imagine it becomes less as the day goes on) and really good coffee. While it may not be the WORLD'S best coffee-- it's still pretty delicious (think comforting diner coffee)! Plenty of parking outside, and plenty of seating inside if you're not grabbing and going. The only thing I wish I asked about is if they could've warmed up my donut (which was really light and fluffy, by the way). Not sure who else likes their donuts warmed up, but it definitely would've been a plus!

We were in the area for the day and drove past and decided to stop in and see what they had and I'm glad we did. Their donuts are so good. The apple fritters though were amazing and I wish we would have gotten more than one. We got red velvet donut holes and blueberry ones and they were really good too. The maple bacon donut was really good. It didn't have that overly smoky bacon taste that a lot of them do.

It was a dreary rainy morning when I came in from the cold and was immediately enveloped by the warm glazed comfort of fried dough. I grew up in a big city but I imagine that this is what small town hospitality is all about. In the parking lot a nice man gave me the right-of-way (even though it belonged to him). All the patrons at the bar interacted with a friendly familiarity. The donuts looked fabulous and they were cosmopolitan enough to have Chai flavored Cronuts! I opted for 4 donut holes: Red Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, Blueberry & Plain Glazed. They were all magical. So if your soul is in need of a warm hug (in the form of food) this would be the place to come. Heck! These folks seemed so nice they might actually give you a REAL hug.

Hot and fresh donuts !!!! So tasty !

They have the best donuts in Beckley. I stop by often where my sweet tooth is strong. They are all nice there.

Was really disappointed, donuts stale and it looked like a Dunkin' Donuts - I hoped for something more local

This place is...interesting, in a good way. When I was told I was going out of town for a work…read moreevent in West Virginia and this was the name of the place. I had no idea exactly what this place was. My colleague kept referring to it as just a Moose. And a lot of use know that means something else, more in lines with a bar. The person that invited us out to here for the event didn't give us much information about what we should expect. But I am happy I came here, because of how unique of a place this is. Most people would assume that this may be a place for ice cream and you'd be partially right. This place is a mix of things that you would not expect. First and foremost, it is a well used coffee shop. Even though there is a well known national competitor right up the road. There is a steady stream of vehicles in and out throughout the day. Inside, in the coffee portion of the space, it gives definite coffee shop vibes. Couches, armchairs, tables, books, magazines, etc. That coziness could be a big draw on a cold day. I had myself a chai tea latte from here and it was delicious. They are quick with their ordering process and making of the drink. What else is here you ask? Well, let me tell you. There is an ice cream parlor tucked away on the opposite side of the coffee shop. You can enter this through the coffee shop or from the outside entrance on the side of the building. This area, then leads you to another location on the lot. Putt-Putt. Behind the building, there is a miniature golf course built into the hillside. One that is West Virginian history themed. Another thing this place has is an indoor climbing wall. I didn't get a chance to check that out.

Nice coffee. It's a small place, I think. There are a bunch of tables and some bar stools. Plenty…read moreof games for bad weather days. Plenty of parking. Yeah, it's a little strange. FUN. They stirred my coffee clockwise even after reminding them it needs to be stirred counter clock ways. I forgive. But next time...

Dunkin' - Forgot that apostrophe. Additionally, "A cup of ice comes with a hefty price!" Would be more accurate.

I traversed the unforgiving mountains for miles and miles until I reached a set of toll booths,…read morewhich led me to a not very beautiful Exxon petrol station. I paid a bloody $8.50 in West Virginia Turnpike tolls to get there, and another $8.50 on the way back. I should have trekked the enchanted forest instead. After my buddy Pasi filled up his Subaru, we slid our way inside the convenience store -- where he topped off an empty Dunkin' cup with what looked like caffeinated mud water. The items for sale were placed so conveniently that my wallet begged me not to starve it of any of the George Washingtons it was clinging onto. I may have even heard Eugene Krabs threaten me in the distance, but perhaps it was only an echo. I was overall pleased with the atmosphere, but there was a bossy sign that insulted my H20 knowledge -- saying that a cup of ice is not free. Well yeah, neither was the paper and ink used to print that meaningless nonsense (let alone how much corporate spent on the printer). What do you want me to do next, change your diaper? Beckley is nice.

As far as gas stations go, this one is pretty good. I tend to stop here on my way into West…read moreVirginia. The gas is reasonably priced usually, compared to others in the area. I've found if you wait until the next available gas, the prices are about ten cents more expensive. The bathrooms, while small and kind of dated (which is weird as it's obvious the rest of the place has been updated) are usually clean. There's a Burger King attached, so if you're hungry, you can grab a burger. You can also get the standard gas station soft drinks and snacks. All in all, this is an above average place for a pit stop if you're passing through.
