I made a mobile order while driving and didn't realize there were matching rest stops on either side of the highway. Accidentally placed my order for the stop on the other side. I go in, whole place is packed, starbucks baristas working hard getting through all their orders. When I asked them about my order they didn't have it and gracefully explained to me that there's another Starbucks on the other side, then went ahead and made me my drink. They made it perfectly might I add. This is one of the most delicious starbucks cold brew with almond milk i had in a long time. Maybe it was the exhaustion but who knows. I was just happy to get my drink without having to ask them to remake it for me pretty please. Also, they gave me 3 honey packets. Yes another typical Starbucks on the PA Turnpike. Generally it is hit an miss for service as if it is busy it can be a long wait. I as lucky there was no customers there so I was in and out very quickly. The staff where friendly and gave great service. My drink was made perfectly. read more

It's a Starbucks in a service plaza. I had no wait, and no one waiting in front of me, or behind me, yet she asked for my name to politely brand my cup. I obliged and began to spell it, C-A-R-R-I-E. I paid, hey wait this is more than normal!? Then waited shortly for the young lad at the end of the line to hand me my Venti Iced Coffee, but wait! This can't be mine! This belongs to a Cari! How is that even pronounced? I swear, one day Millennials!! Tasted good for an overpriced Iced Coffee from the bucks at a location where they obviously amp up the price. Blessed ye, St. Starbucks and the image of thine lady logo on the road signs which leadeth me into the path of thine righteousness. Like, seriously. This turnpike Starbucks location was a sight for sore eyes. It's a small space inside the Blue Mountain Service Plaza. The worker, Linda, was a doll. Super sweet (at the crack of dawn, mind you) and patient, as my coven pondered what to get. I got the classic oatmeal and a hot cocoa, soy milk, no whip. Both were hot and perfect. Just what I needed to continue my journey. DD got a breakfast sandwich with turkey, egg whites, and cheese on an English muffin. She said it was really good. Again, great customer service. read more

Came here on 2/2/18 with a very large group of about 300 people. We are on a bus trip heading towards Pittsburgh and needed to do a restroom and quick bite stop. This Starbuck did pretty good with the crowd. My only issue came when one of the employees seemed bothered that there was so many people which made their demeanor quite unpleasant. I didn't get her name since she didn't have a badge on but the lady had a very stank attitude while trying to be cordial with the customers. This visit was not the best experience that I have had with a Starbucks. I ordered a passion tango tea sweetened and it didn't taste sweetened and it was too late to ask to correct when I was back on my bus and we had to go. Overall if you visit make sure you taste your beverage before leaving to make sure it's to your liking. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been too! On two separate occasions I've been over charged and given an inferior product in comparison to what I've come to expect from Starbucks. This operation is operated by HMS, I think it would be in Starbucks best interest to force HMS into some remedial training and perhaps more strict enforcement of Starbucks policy & procedures. I'll give her two stars just because she was by herself and I felt bad for her. First thing: she didn't ask if we wanted our coffee and tea hot or cold. Second: when I told her the details of my coffee, I started seeing some attitude. Third: i wanted hot green tea but she didn't ask about what I wanted and just gave me iced cold tea. I mean I felt sorry for her that she was working this late and must've been tired but she needs to do a better job at hiding her attitude at least. Just traveling through the area and had the worst experience at this Starbucks. I ordered a latte and a smoothie. The barista got mad because I asked if he could put equal in the latte. Then, they gave me the smoothie and it tasted like pure syrup. Overall, just poor customer service and attentiveness at this Starbucks. read more

This service was unmatched... IN THE WORST WAY. It took over 5 minutes from payment for a water. The staff's lackadaisical approach was so off putting, the cashier gave me my total and instead of taking my payment she took her sweet time double checking someone else's order. A disgrace. After 5 minutes of nonsense she then proceeded to swipe my gift card for me. If you're looking for a quick stop on a road trip DON'T COME HERE. They take their sweet sweet time and aren't very approachable either, quite aggressive and ill-mannered. The barista starred me down until my soul left my body. I felt so judged for getting 3 Venti caramel fraps and my water. My then cold latte fueled my anger as I felt it rip apart my insides and immediately start squeezing out of my ass. IM CONNVINCED I WAS POISONED BY THE STAFF. The barista then tried to flirt with my boyfriend as if she had a chance, NICE TRY SAWEETIEEE. So disappointed to find such of a horrid Starbucks. Never again I say, NEVER AGAIN will I ever spend another penny at this joke of an establishment. Disappointed is an understatement.
