Food truck outside . Picnic tables outside to eat or bring inside.

Small brewery with small bar sharing a space with local bike shop, "Fat Jimmys Outfitters" in Central PA. There are no food offerings however they offer food trucks. Beer is great, however Brewery lacks ambiance. The space is very limited sharing space with the bike shop. Hopefully a restaurant is in the works. Dog Friendly Brewery. The brewery has been open for 5 years. I like the "Not Your Average Joe" which tastes clean and refreshing. I've had the beer at Bella Terra Vineyards and at the Omni Bedford in "Tillie's at the Clubhouse". 4 % ABV

Really dug this brewery. It's kind of off the beaten path but not at all hard to locate. It sits in a little plaza within an exercise shop/food store kinda thing. It was weird but it worked. None of that actually matters. What matters is that the beers are good. Really good. The decor is fun too.

Drink the rainbow. You may need two flights to try all the interesting brews. #DrinkLocal

What? There's a brewery inside a bike shop, that's attached to a natural foods store? In Bedford, Pennsylvania? It's true. There is. I've been there. And I'll be back. The beers are certainly interesting, and the tap list had styles that I had never encountered before in my travels. Maybe old forgotten styles are old and forgotten for a reason. However, I love trying new things. Even if I may not love everything I try. Which is why it's great that Olde Bedford Brewing Company offers flights. With three people, we were able to split a couple of flights and have a broad tasting of what the brewery was making this past summer. My sense is that they'll keep brewing up new beers. And it's been my experience that small local breweries get better the longer they stick around. My favorite was the dark beer with the coffee in it. I can't recall if it was a porter or a stout. But my father-in-law is a wheat beer fan, and he found the wheat beer here to be the best of the bunch. An added plus is that the place is kid friendly, and the brewery even makes its own root beer. I was concerned the kids would not go for the flavor profile of hand crafted soda, but they totally enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check out the brewery this winter when I return to Bedford and see how it's developing.

Cool place to check out and sit outside. The beer was definitely good! Pet friendly convent in town

I had no idea this brewery was here until a recent trip to Rocky Gap Resort. No matter where I travel I always find every brewery through Yelp and try to hit up as many as possible. Thank you my fellow Yelpers :) This place is really off the beaten path and those are my favorite kind of breweries. It's located on an old farm and its whole vibe screams, "Come on in and enjoy yourself!" I love the space the people who own this have created. The outside area is open, airy, and peaceful. The lower building with the restrooms is a great space too. I love how they serve the beers out of the lower part of the upper building. Super cool setup. We ordered: Girlfriend: Lemon Blueberry Sour Ale (5/5) Me: Blood Orange Horizon (5/5) We also ordered some food from Jackies Groovy Cheese truck while enjoying our beers. I'm going to have to make you a Yelp page because I wanted to give you praise and you weren't on here yet. - Fried Pickle Slices (6/5) - Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese (6/5) They were both super tasty. By far the best fried pickle slices we have ever had and those jalapeño poppers were super crunchy, cooked to perfection, and loaded with cheese. Yum! Fried foods paired with beer is my weakness. We didn't get a chance to explore the inside of the upper building but that gives us something to look forward to the next time we are in the area but to also check out everything else great they have to offer including their other delicious beers and whatever food truck is there on our next visit. We will be back again soon but until then, Happy Drinking! Sláinte:)

We opted for a table inside, and there was plenty of space. They don't generally have food beyond a few snacks, but it seems like they try to have a food truck around during busy times. In terms of the beer, I really appreciated the wide selection. This wasn't the type of place that serves 10 different IPAs with everything else being an afterthought. They had a dunkel, an American wheat, a festbier, an American style oktoberfest (seasonally), plus many others. The beer was generally good, but not always exceptional. I'm also very opinionated around beer, so take that with a grain of salt. Overall, this was a nice find. It made for a fun afternoon while I was in the area.

When me and my girlfriend take road trips or mini vacations we try to hit up every brewery in that area and/or surrounding areas. On a recent birthday trip to Rocky Gap Resort that my sweet and beautiful girlfriend arranged for us we stopped in here during the early evening last week. As we pulled up I liked the whole aesthetics of this place. So we walked in and the place was pretty busy for an early Sunday evening but I believe it was because of the musicians that were scheduled to play. I noticed a lot of cool metal art which I later found out the owner created. That's awesome! We immediately walked up to the bar and ordered a couple of beers. - Shanty Irish Red Ale for my gf 4/5 - Iron Bird Hazy IPA for me 5/5 As we were enjoying our beers the people next to us received a food order and I looked at my girlfriend and said that pizza looks good. She replied, You want me to get us one? I giggled because she is a foodie like me lol. So we looked over the menu and decided on a 10" cheese pizza with mushrooms & jalapeños and a small order of chicken bites with honey mustard. So after about 10 minutes our buzzer went off and my gf walked up to get our food. We really enjoyed every bit of the pizza and chicken bites. Thank you! - Pizza 4/5 - Chicken Bites 4/5 While we were eating our food there were two people who started playing music and this is why this place gets 4 not 5 stars. Not because the musicians weren't good but because a place this size should never have people playing music so loud that you can't even have a normal conversation without saying huh or yelling. One of the two owners came over and asked if I'd like another beer and I could barely hear her and then the other owner came over and introduced himself to us and talked to us for about 5 minutes or so about the brewery, business, art, etc. and we could barely hear him and some things he said we couldn't make out, which sucks because I would have loved to chat with him without a loud distraction. Seemed like a very interesting and knowledgeable man. Next time my guy. Listen, I'm a huge brewery person and this brewery has great vibes and everything you could want to enjoy while visiting one but having musicians with amps blasting inside no longer makes it what makes breweries great and then turns into a bar. The whole reason of going to a brewery is to enjoy good beer, good food, and good conversation and that's impossible with music blasting. You can either be a bar or a brewery but you can't be both. Light music or acoustic would be much better in my opinion and my opinion should matter because I've been to hundreds of breweries across the United States. Either way the beer was good and the food was too. We will be back soon. Thanks for creating a nice and welcoming space. Sláinte

I've been here a few times before. My wife and I fell in love with this place the first time we were here. The owner is personable, friendly and enjoys his work. You can tell by the way he carries himself. And his wife is right next to him. With her own smile. All that said, the real reason for coming is the beer. This place has much to offer. On the menu are a Belgian white, a seasonal lager, Kolach, Hefeweizen, Irish red, stouts, IPAs, and a porter. I ask you to find that much of a choice in any other brewery and walk out angry. It cannot be done. For today I had tastes of the pumpkin, harvest ale and lager, before settling on the lager. TBH we came for the Hefeweizen but they just ran out. It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety. Still, it's good enough that I'd go back next time I'm in Cumberland, but not so good that I'd make a special trip out of my way.
