This Starbucks location on Henesta has some of the most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered. The blonde employee with the eyebrow piercing completely ignored me while I waited for my order, then turned to her coworkers--right in front of me--to falsely claim that she had addressed me and I didn't respond. She then proceeded to bad-mouth me over her headset, well within my earshot. When I politely asked her to speak up, she completely lost it, falsely accusing me of calling her derogatory names and escalating the situation unnecessarily. Since this incident, I have been consistently mistreated by the staff to the point that they now refuse to handle my order at all. I have had multiple discussions with different managers, yet the toxic, clique-like environment remains. Hospitality should be about professionalism, not petty, immature behavior. No customer should ever be treated this way. Since Starbucks refuses to handle the issue properly, I've taken matters into my own hands--I now wear a body cam when I visit. read more

In addition to a bacon and egg sandwich without cheese, I also ordered a hot chocolate and a mocha macchiato. Sadly, after waiting inside for ten minutes, my sandwich had to be remade because the cheese was still on it. Very bitter beverages were served. I think the sheer volume of customers simply overloaded the employees. read more

Oh Starbucks, what happened to you? This is a new and much needed addition to King Avenue retail in Billings, MT. However, it has some issues. The free WiFi is too weak to update apps or download anything. My phone tried to download a Chrome update, but gave up after 10 minutes--anyone there were only 3 customers in the shop. The coffee was, again, weak. No dark roast unless you want a pour over. This has become pretty common at Starbucks after noon. I don't get it. There's a nice 45th anniversary blend dark roast for sale at Starbucks right now, but none brewed. The chain was founded on dark roasted coffee, so why the Perkins-grade brew? Maybe Starbucks will get its groove back eventually, but this one doesn't have it. read more

This Starbucks seems to have it wired. I've been through the drive thru about 6 or 7 times over the past 2 years and every time it's a great experience! The baristas at the drive up window are always super friendly and quick with the service. The manager of this location is definitely doing something right - they hire some great people! read more

I went into this Starbucks hoping to get a great flat white. If you know flat whites, the key component is how you add the frothed milk since you start with espresso on the bottom of the cup. You pour slowly so the crema rises to the top. As I stood waiting, I watched the Barista dump the milk into a cup. I tried to politely ask if that was the flat white to which she responded "Yes." Then I proceeded to ask politely if she knew how to make a flat white. She responded rudely, "Ya, you pour the milk slowly." Then she dumped it out and asked the Barista behind her to remake my drink. When you are in customer service, it does not matter to the customer paying $5.00 ($6.00 w/tip) for a cup of coffee if you are at the end of an 8 hour shift. Many of us work 10 - 12 hour days (just ask a nurse). Part of your job is to respond with respect no matter how long of a day you have had. For my next cup, I drove past this location, several blocks out of my way to a location on East Grand. It was worth the drive. Hopefully the training they receive this afternoon also covers basic customer service. read more
