I just moved from WA to the Big Sky...and this restaurant has changed the way I see fast food and fast-service restaurants in general. I am not kidding. Everyone is so friendly here, and the display of potatoes up front shows you that YES...this place is fresher than a fresh-cut field. I've had two hamburgers since I moved to Carbon County. Both times: juicy, scrumptious, fresh tomatoes, fresh lettuce, even the buns are great! Rico is amazing, as are many of the other employees (Caleb is another one). I've also picked up a couple of DoorDash deliveries from this place, and they are usually fast and close to ready when I show up. The national chains (with the golden arches, the Whopper and that guy "in the box") should be ashamed of themselves. Mooyah beats them every day and six ways to Sunday. read more

I read some of the 1-star ratings and I'm not sure why those folks experienced what they did. I enjoyed dinner at Mooyah a couple nights ago, ordered a burger and fries and a little Moo Oreo shake. I was greeted be multiple employees when I walked in and the line was short-ish, I think 2 orders in front of me. I was able to review the menu and be ready to order which was an easy process. My meal took about 12 minutes but a gentleman brought my shake out when it was ready so I was able to enjoy my dessert before my dinner (DON'T tell my wife lol!) Restaurant is small with only about 8-10 tables but I saw a lot of folks coming up n for online orders and takeout. There was someone constantly in the dining area checking on customers and cleaning empty tables to make sure they were ready for customers to sit. Looked like a well run business to me and I'd definitely enjoy another meal at Mooyah if I'm ever back in the area. read more

My friend and I were in town for a conference looking for a good burger and Mooyah delivered. I had the Double Diablo and it was right on the spot. Just enough heat to notice but not too much to make it unfinishable. The beef was grilled to perfection with just a little crisp on the edges but not burnt. Bun was soft and fresh, wonderful! Fries were fresh and handcut and paired well with the Mooyah Sauce. Service was excellent, Alphonso was quick to clear the tables, smile on his face and thanked everyone as they left. The burgers and fries here are fantabulous! They're smashburgers, I believe, where they put a ball of meat on the grill and let it sear, then smash it down so the edges get crispy and delicious! They're always busy, and that means something. We have been here 5 times and they are awesome every time. The only thing I don't like is their milkshakes. They aren't flavorful enough. But that's ok! Stopped in Billings, MT for lunch and decided to try Mooyah's since it had a good rating. You are welcome DQ when you enter. You get in line to order, are given a number, you find a seat and put your number on the table. Your order comes out relatively fast. Bun is delicious-grilled on the inside, slightly sweet roll. You can order a set burger, single or as a meal, or make it your way by ordering your protein, bread, veggies, toppings, fries. Quantity of fries is large. Personal size is enough for two. Hand cut fries with skin on. Nice and crispy. They have sweet potato fries but I didn't notice until after we ordered. Burger itself was well done. Appears to have been smashed on the grill while cooking. Not sure if you can specify the level is doneness, but if you can that would be great. Would consider stopping here if I'm in Billings again. read more

I ordered a MDC a double burger & added French onions. I got my burger that didn't come with a tomato so I had a little bit of lettuce a little bit of French onions no tomato. It was just all around horrible a little bit of french fries very upset because you guys didn't add the whole burger..... idk why yall forget to add all this food on the MDC. read more

just left this place.... The staff here is absolutely stellar... seriously! The fries are fresh fantastic and burgers are good. Had a mushroom and swiss.... little light on the mushrooms but tasty. They ask for tip at checkout and this irritated me .. although it's kind of serve yourself a very nice guy asks if you need anything, cleans up your tray and is so there... so leave a good tip! we shared fries and there were a LOT in the shareable portion. Great food, fabulous people.... I'll leave a better tip next time ... will be back! read more

Hello everyone, i just moved here from California because i know Billings is not only a God loving community but i found that people here not only respect each other but love each other. and this is exactly what i felt here at MOOYAH's. I was getting off work a bit late about 10:30PM and was starving. I have never even heard of MOOYAH until i came across this one here in Billings. I didnt realize they had closed @ 9PM and when i asked Rico if they were still open he told me they were closed in 2 minutes but clearly everyone was cleaning up for the day and even after i refused many times i wouldnt order anything RICO THE RIGHTIOUS wouldnt take no for an answer and told me he would serve me up a burger right away himself personally! Regardless of how late it was. Not only was Rico himself ready to take on another battle but as also was RICOS RIGHTOUS ARMY!!! Each and everyone of his soldiers IMMEDIATLY stopped cleaning and were prepared to get down and dirty, Rico the leader of the pack even offered a meal on the house but still i wouldnt dare allow such betrayal to my brethren in arms... I told Rico i would come back the following day and as i kept my word RICO THE RIGHTIOUS kept his... I ordered "The Double Diablo" and not only did he forge the most legendary burger i have ever tasted but he also smithed the mightiest "The Best Qesonario" and even included a meal for my friend who was at work who had no idea of this testimony.
