Attractively decorated. Comfy chairs. Good service and the same food & drinks that you'd get at any other Starbucks. Free wi-fi and numerous plugs. They don't rush you out of the building - you can work a while. Open much later than Looney Bean. read more

Stopped by on way to Mammoth on Thursday afternoon. Both husband and I used restrooms. I commented to him how dirty the ladies was and he said the men's was also a mess. As we stood in line to order looked around more and this place was dirty!!! Spills on floor, cups and napkins all over. It wasn't that busy that one of the employees couldn't take 10 minutes to do a clean up. Location not up to Starbucks standard. We'll go to location at Von's next time. read more

You been to one Starbucks you been to all of them. Whenever I need a break or something fast to eat I would usually stop at a Starbucks and buy a cup of house coffee and a lemon loaf pastry or a spicy sausage bacon cheese muffin which is excellent, but when you're up this way try something with a local flavor like the Looney Bean. Nothing against this Starbucks because they have excellent coffee and things to eat and Starbucks has locations all over the place. read more

I'm a local and I've been going to this location for years and have been to Starbucks all over the world. In the past year, this location has really gone down hill. Not only is it slow, but there's only 2 or 3 employees that really know how to make a drink promptly. The final straw was when I had to wait in the drive thru for 30 minutes (there was only 2 cars in front of me). I barely got an apology (the barista didn't really care), the drink order was screwed up twice...and it tasted horrible. Still had to pay for my drink. I complained to Starbucks corporate weeks ago about this, and didn't hear anything back. As a local, I won't be returning here and when I travel, I'll be avoiding any other Starbucks location. I would avoid and go to Looney Bean or even McDonald's. read more

this is one of 2 starbucks location in Bishop. quick and friendly service, free wifi, and CLEAN. i come here often to study and do school work, it doesn't get too loud or rowdy... good in my book read more

I ordered a hot Americano (one of the easiest drinks to make) at the drive through window, and I got a room temperature drink that had clearly been sitting out for a while before it was served to me. Did an employee just pick up a random Americano off the counter and give it to me? Next time I'm driving through Bishop on a trip, I'll make sure to avoid this Starbucks. read more

Poor service, wrong drink, long wait when not busy and what make me write this review is the unapologetic attitude even though they know the order was wrong and the person supposedly finish the correct order just left... There are many other good coffee shops in Bishops that I could have visited. read more

I am a fan of Starbucks and enjoy their consistency. This one did not disappoint and helped me get the caffeine I needed to finish my trip north to Tahoe. The staff were pleasant and seating was ample. Music always a little loud for my taste at a coffee shop (I like to hear what my wife is saying to me) but once we sat outside it was okay. Absolutely the worst customer service of any SB I have ever been to and I travel all over the country. I complained to the regional supervisor which was almost mission impossible and they sent me a $5 credit. Wow thanks. I go to various Starbucks locations throughout the week and during my travel adventures, and typically find the same friendly environment and good service at just about every location. I've now had two bad experiences at the Bishop Starbucks in the last year, and will probably be resisting the temptation to stop there anymore, even though it is a convenient place to grab a coffee to fuel the drive home from Mammoth. The first time I went in earlier this year, I had asked my friend to stop there so I could grab a quick coffee and sandwich. She was in a hurry to get home so I was trying to do something quick and easy. Somehow it took them an extraordinary amount of time to get my iced coffee and panini ready, even though there was virtually no one else in the store (I realize that there is a drive-thru). The second visit was the final straw. I ordered the same iced coffee and panini and was coldly told that they were out of iced coffee and offered the cold brew as an alternative. No apologies for what I would think is a pretty easy staple to keep around being out of stock. My coffee came out and I started sipping it while waiting for my sandwich. I watched several people come and go with their food and drink items, and had sucked down a substantial portion of my drink before I finally asked about my panini. Apparently the barista who took my order couldn't put it in the warmer because it was being used so she put it down next to it. The next person came along and "couldn't figure out whose panini it was" so they just put it away. Disappointing. A stop at Starbucks for an easy iced coffee and a warmed panini shouldn't turn into a 20 minute ordeal every time, at least not with so few other customers in the store. read more

Put in a to go order and wasn't ready after 30 minutes of waiting. Asked the red headed girl three times about it and got a half assed response that it would be done soon. Asked a different guy about it whom told me they were out of the type of tea I wanted and so they could make me something else. That drink took another 15 minutes and was the wrong size. Yes it was busy, but the fact that the girl was in no way of willing to help was a little ridiculous. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks in the world!!!! I absolutely LOVE starbucks but man this store is horribly slow. I have waited up to 30+ min for a coffee. They only use the front coffee bar even when it is slammed. I have done order ahead, putting my order in 15 min before I left my house and got to the starbucks 20 min after putting my order in and had to wait 10 min still. This wait is long even if they are slow. Oh and if the parking lot is full you know you will wait 30 min+ to get your coffee. read more

there were only 2 other people in the store when i walked in and it took 5 minutes for the employees to even acknowledge i was there. when they finally did some big forehead girl was snotty and rude, and my soy latte didn't taste like it was made with soy. thank god we were only passing through on our way to yosemite, i'd hate to get service like that from every place in this small town. read more

Don't go here! This Starbucks has gone down hill fast. I would consider myself a regular customer for the past few years until now. Every time I've gone for the past 3 months every order is wrong. Customer service is horrendous - couple weeks ago they made my drink completely wrong and just said "sorry we forgot x and x and x, is that okay?" Instead of asking me if I would like them to remake it. I'm not exaggerating, EVERY single order has been made wrong. Soymilk when I ask for nonfat milk, whip when I order no whip, tall when I order venti, and just this morning I ordered a hot chocoalte no whip nonfat milk. I got a mocha coffee with whip and soymilk. How are they messing things up so bad? Also they're always out of stuff. Whoever is running this location isn't keeping up wth inventory because every time I go they're out of all sandwiches, mocha, caramel sauce, sugar free syrups, lemonade the list goes on. Take your business elsewhere this place isn't worth it anymore. read more

I'm not even sure how to rate our local Starbucks. It's the only coffee place in town with a drive thru, so it's usually my go to having 2 children under 3. It is the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to, it rarely takes less than 20 minutes to get anything. About 30% of the time my drink is messed up. My latest experience was ordering a grande pikes with sweetener and about an inch of cream. After being in the drive thru for over 20 minutes I finally got my coffee, no sweetener no cream. I had to park, unload my kids and go in. When I brought it to the barista's attention she pointed out it said "room for cream" on the tag. I'm in the drive thru, do they think I have some half and half in my center console? Give me a break. Hire someone with a little more common sense than that. I enjoy Starbucks Coffee, and it's a nice treat as a busy mom. But most of the time it's more work than its worth at this particular location. read more
