As we entered the lobby the amazing aroma of coffee filled the air. We walked to the coffee shop where we found whole bean house blend organic coffee in bags. We bought a bag. We had been searching to good whole bean coffee since we moved here weeks earlier. Well we knew we found our coffee roaster the next morning when I ground some of the beans for our morning brew. WOW! The coffee was amazing! The next time we need coffee we will stop when we can have a cup there and buy a couple more packages. Your coffee checks all the high quality coffee boxes and then some! Since this is part of the lobby of the Luminary, this coffee shop includes various specialty food items (can be good gift if you want to send someone items representative of SWFL or if someone wants to take home a little flavor of the area), candies and plush toys. Beware if you're going there with a little one- the plushies r really soft and cute. U might end up having to buy one.

I'm only in town a couple times a year and I don't always make it to the downtown area. During our most recent visit, we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and I finally got to visit Shift (YAY!)... What a great local coffee shop! The inside is cute & minimal and I loved the mural spanning the space. The staff was super friendly as we perused the menu, and my decision was easy once I saw that they have a seasonal fall menu featuring house made syrups. The carrot cake one immediately caught my eye, and I ordered a carrot cake latte. My husband got the classic pumpkin spice and yep, it was like drinking fall in a cup. It's so cool to see a gem like this reppin' the hometown. Also cool that they brew Bandit Coffee (out of St. Pete) which we are big fans of. Wishing them continued success and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area!

We wanted to go to a bakery to get pastries for an event, but most places were closed or too far away, so, we ordered a bunch of sweets from Cafe Blue! I loved the fudgy brownies and the m&m cookies, yum! Their pie case also looked amazing, but we didn't order those. The staff were friendly and quick with the orders, and the atmosphere was very fun with the combined books and records for sale/to browse. Parking is paid in downtown Ft Myers, but pretty affordable, and this place has access to bathrooms, but you need a key. Would be happy to come back to Cafe Blue someday!

She and her team have only been open for six days, but they're already creating a space that feels inviting, friendly, and full of delicious possibilities. I've recently fallen in love with Pumpkin Chai Lattes, and Coffee Rush absolutely delivered. Every sip was perfection! I also wanted to try one of their Red Bull drinks and asked for a surprise flavor. Tessa told me they love when customers request "surprise me" drinks as it gives them a chance to get creative. They offer both iced and blended Red Bull options, and mine was a blended mix of raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, and strawberry. It was the perfect berry combination and paired perfectly with the Red Bull flavor. What really impressed me was how Tessa and her staff took the time to get to know me, what I enjoy at other coffee shops, what flavors I prefer and even recommended a drink for my next visit.
