I had a really disappointing experience at this Starbucks location. I was babysitting at Centennial Park, and when I found that the park restrooms were locked, I walked about 10 minutes to this Starbucks hoping to quickly use the bathroom. When I arrived, I politely asked a FEMALE employee if they had a restroom I could use. She looked me in the face (another FEMALE) and asked, "Are you going to make a purchase?" I was honestly shocked and disappointed. It's frustrating that a basic human need like using the restroom is treated as a transaction, especially when I was clearly in need. Starbucks is supposed to be a welcoming place, but this encounter left a really bad impression. I hope management reconsiders how they train staff to handle situations like this -- compassion and basic decency should come before a sales pitch. I decided to stop inside Starbucks in downtown Ft Meyers before my flight back home. This location is in a prime spot and does not bave drive through. The store is also really big inside so it makes it easier to keep your distance. All of the employees are wearing masks and keeping a safe distance from guests and employees. What a beautiful morning after Henry's training class, he did so good that we went to the nearest Starbucks to get a pup cup for him. My hubby sat outside at a table with Henry, while I went inside to place our orders. Many ladies stopped by to pet the cute little Cotie. Henry was in his element being adored by the ladies. I got the Strawberry Açaí Lemonade and a blue berry muffin, my hubby got the Bacon Guda breakfast sandwich along with. Cookie crumble Frappuccino and of course Henry got his favorite pup cup along with another cup of water. The baristas were friendly , professional and helpful. They were happy to get ice cold water for Henry to wash down his pup cup contents. All it is a small non dairy whipped cream in a tiny cup. The food was yummy and our beverage refreshingly delicious. Of course the pup cup was rated tops by Henry. I really like how welcoming Downtown locations are to leashed dogs and their parents. The guy made my drink wrong and when I pointed it out he got an attitude. When he put the new drink up he didn't put the lid on all the way and when I picked it up the coffee spilled and the lid fell on the floor. No customer service. I've been waiting for almost 40 minutes for an online pick up order and I'm just standing here watching every drink get made and picked up and nothings happening. Watched a few workers go in breaks and come back. Nobody has spoken or checked on my standing here this entire time at the pick up area. I wonder if it'll be a full hour until I'm acknowledged and get my items. Definitely won't come back. I will leave here in about 10 minutes if they don't have my order ready. 55 minutes for someone to speak to me to find out my order has just been sitting behind the counter the entire time and not where it's supposed to be. Have you ever used your Stars to buy a coffee, frap, or any other drink. It just dawned on me that when I buy a venti coffee now it costs 3.46 per cup then I earn 5 stars. But when I use my stars to buy that same cup it costs me 50 stars. This venti cup just cost $34.40 Wow... 34.40 for a venti coffee. Is this a scam ? Looks worse than nonprofits I've been to. Street parking, no couches, hard wooden chairs. Seating outside but too hot. Inside there was one obviously new cashier literally begging for help. Line was long, ran out of bags, place is unkept, could use a new floor, cleaning, messy shelves, not returning. No outlets, walls have pealed paint !!! Great Disappointment. It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. I came here about 2 times in one day! I was super excited to see a Starbucks as I was getting a little home sick! The staff were super nice, as in all Starbucks. My frappuccinos were divine, especially in the hot, humid sun! I am always excited to see a Starbucks far away from home. DO NOT USE THIS STORE. I made the mistake of entering the store without the universal protection of my mask. I was the only person in the business other than the person I was traveling with. After spending two days in the Downtown Ft. Myers area enjoying many of the business where mask usage was clearly voluntary, I didn't give it a thought. The first employee stated I needed to wear a mask if I had one or they couldn't serve me. They did offer to bring my order outside if I made an online order. I'm not a big fan of the mask. And a cup of coffee isn't worth this much effort. So I said "that's fine, I will leave". The second employee then decides that they needed to berate me with insults and remarks about people like me not wearing masks. We've visited a couple times over the last few months. Exploring the Downtown River District in the typical SW Florida heat made us thirsty. We wanted a couple cold drinks we could take with us and stopping here worked. I discovered I really enjoy their Pineapple Black Tea. It has a great taste that is different, refreshing and not too sweet. We didn't note anything remarkable about the store or service. Then again, our visits were brief. Final Assessment: Convenient for to-go beverages in the Downtown River District. The $4.25 price for a large Pineapple Black Tea made it a bit of a guilty pleasure but I may stop in again at some point, if I find myself in similar circumstances, because it had a great taste. read more

I really just ran in here on a trip from Orlando to Marco Island. I needed to use the restroom and absolutely needed to get coffee (I work 6am shifts, I live off of coffee). The bathroom was clean, regular Starbucks. Then I went to order my coffee and they were out of soy milk. What? I'm lactose intolerant, that's a huge bummer. The barrista told me that hey had been out since the AM. Are you kidding? Go to the grocery store and get some more at that point. You can't go all day at a coffee shop missing something like that. She offered me some tea, which I refused because that doesn't do the same job as coffee, and walked out. I'm very bitter. If they had just ran out, it would have been understandable, but to just leave it alone all day and not do anything isn't the Starbucks way. read more

Came in for a cold brew and banana walnut bread. They don't have nitro at this location. If you are in town for court and have some time to spare, it is fairly close to the courthouse which is nice. Street parking is not ideal. Not a whole lot of indoor seating when compared to other Starbucks but if it's a decent day outside and not too hot, there is plenty of seating. Overall, I give it 3 stars because of the parking situation and limited indoor seating. read more

I travel to Fort Myers regularly on business; visiting this Starbucks is a familiar treat for me. The staff is unfailingly professional and enthusiastic, and greet all customers warmly, whether a regular or not. You also can't beat their location; the corner spot is near several other businesses as well as local and federal courthouses. read more

Among the best things of this particular location is that they have never screwed up my order, they have given a free replacement drink when my son spilled his outside, the people are friendly and remember your name, and oddly given the location, I can almost always find parking nearby. Went in to this locale due to seeing a performance down the street at the Florida Rep. Because it was Mother's Day, if you bought any size Teavana Oprah Chai Latte, you got one "free for your mother". My mommy wanted something completely different, as she asked what the chai consisted of. First question out of the barista's mouth was "do you know what 'chai' is?". Seriously. She said yes. He said it has some pre bagged flavors in it... cinnamon, cloves, sugar, list goes on. My mother's concern was the sugar count, and if it could be made with no sweetener. Sorry; it's pre mixed. They dole out however much, depending on what size you get. The nice thing about this conversation? She asked if she can get a regular tea in it's place. If I buy this chai concoction, can she get a tea "as it's Mother's Day"? The barista said ok, and asked her what she wanted... it was this time only type of deal. She orders her small iced tea, I order the iced chai thing, and $3.63 later, we walk out. How was the service otherwise? With a smile and a conversation from the main barista. The serving barista was concerned with making the drinks, so not that into the order. How were the teas? The chai latte was definitely a chai deal. A little on the sweet side, but if you kept lightly shaking it, it surprisingly dissipated. The other tea? Sweet enough with no additional cavities. Will I go back? Probably not, as there are several Starbucks closer to where I live. I won't rule this place out if I'm in The River District, but I won't go out of my way for it. read more

I had a nice cup of coffee at this Starbucks on a crowded Wednesday afternoon. However, upon leaving, I left my suit jacket draped over the back of an outside chair. I didn't realize I had left it until I arrived in Ft Lauderdale, two hours away, for dinner. I called the store and spoke with the manager, Rich, and offered to give him my credit card to pay for shipping of my coat. He refused to take money for it, shipped my coat Priority Mail and even included a sample of their new Via product in the box. I am already a loyal Starbucks customer but Rich went above and beyond for me. Please frequent this location, if for no other reason than this stellar example of service. I have been here three different times in the last month in the late afternoon and early evening. Each time it was dirty, and dumpy, and dingy. Cups on tables, tables not wiped down and covered with crumbs, trash and paper on the floor. Do they bother to clean up at all during the day? In one back corner there are pictures missing, scuff marks on the walls, and and holes in the wall. I don't think if Starbucks corporate walked in they'd be very happy.
