We came here on a whim after a Yelp event. We did have to wait a little while as there was a line but it did go quickly. Staff were very friendly and kind. This is my own opinion and preference, but I do love a good menu that is a bit more expansive. I enjoy knowing the different flavors, different drinks, specialty menu items. While they did have some of those things at the register, I wish I had just a little more time to review. Coffee was good. Inside they were busy so we sat outside and of course, it's love bug season so we had to protect our drinks. That is no fault of Summer Moon whatsoever, just Florida! Summer Moon Coffee has been here for many years; yet I never wrote a review for this coffee shop after many visits. I generally ordered a cold Nitro coffee with a sweet treat. When you infuse nitrogen into coffee, it creates a very creamy and foamy head without milk! Other experts even said, nitrogen slow down oxidation and kept the coffee fresh longer! Today, I ordered hot cinnamon latte. Shots of their Espresso with Moon Milk and oat milk with cinnamon is my second favorite. A chocolate croissant and sips of cinnamon latte made my afternoon break complete! Ambiance is very cozy and relaxed. Both inside and outside tables are available. We randomly stumbled across this coffee shop while visiting fort Myers and we were sooo glad to have found it! They specialize in making their "moon milk" in house which is a sweet milk made with 7 different ingredients. They also roast their own beans. The lattes were delicious!! You can choose your sweetness level so it's not too sweet. The baristas were so kind and gave us the whole rundown of the menu which we really appreciated. They also wanted to make sure everything was too our liking and ensured that if not they could fix it for us. The ambience was so cute as well, there was people studying, working, chatting, & reading their bibles. This coffee shop is definitely worth a try whether you're looking to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or just grab a quick coffee to go. read more

I am never a big fan of coffee chains, so I'm not surprised that this wasn't my favorite. I ordered an iced mocha latte and it was alright, but the coffee quality tasted a little off and the mocha wasn't the best I've had. I noticed they also don't make their own syrups for the other flavors, which I'm picky about. The service was good, the baristas were friendly but it did take a while to get our drinks, and mine was spilling out of the top when I got it which made a big mess. The ambiance is nice, with some seating inside and out. Overall not bad if you like chain coffees but I probably wouldn't return. read more

Finally made it here and double bonus points that I happened to make it here on national coffee day! I got their lemon green iced tea and received their Autumn cold brew as a complimentary treat celebrating coffee day. Both drinks were made well and were delicious. Stopping in on my way out of town, I was in the mood for a yummy matcha latte and that's exactly what they delivered. This shop is located in a strip mall, so there was plenty of parking and it was easy to find with its big signage on the building. Upon walking in, I instantly noticed how clean, bright and comfortable it felt there. The vibes were so nice I decided to stay and enjoy my matcha in one of their comfy armchairs instead of taking it to-go as I had originally planned. I loved that they give you the choice of sweetened or unsweetened matcha when you order, and they had oat milk available as an option. I was on my way to work one Wednesday morning and, instead of making my usual coffee at home, I decided to finally try Summer Moon Cafe. In my opinion, there are not that many standout coffee shops in Cape Coral. A few hidden gems are sprinkled around, and this one had been on my list for a while. When I arrived, I had no idea what to order. I scanned the menu, realized I was next in line, and made a quick decision to go with something seasonal. I chose the Autumn Moon Latte, hot. While I waited, I took in the space. The decor was warm and cozy, very on-brand for the atmosphere. They had merch on display like hats and shirts, and I am definitely a sucker for good coffee shop merch. I always like to try the coffee first before buying anything, but after that first visit, I might have to grab a shirt next time. I glanced at the pastry case, and while I'm a huge fan of shops that make their own pastries in-house, I am not totally sure if they bake theirs. One of the items was wrapped in plastic with a label that mentioned it was made in a facility that processes dairy, so that made me think they might be sourcing some items instead of baking them there. My wait for coffee was short, probably five to eight minutes, and I was out the door. When I took my first sip, I was genuinely impressed. I'm not sure exactly what is in the Autumn Moon, but it gave me cozy autumn vibes with a slight gingerbread taste that reminded me of Christmas. I liked it so much that I made a plan to return that weekend. And I did. This time, I got the Autumn Moon iced and also tried their turkey and cheese croissant, which turned out to be surprisingly good. No complaints at all. My company ordered the regular Summer Moon Latte and enjoyed it just as much. Summer Moon is officially on my return list. Good coffee, inviting atmosphere, and clearly worth a second visit. read more

Cute coffee shop but the baristas do not know how to prepare coffee. They have a good product - but all the drinks come outline water except the espresso. I ordered a cold brew extra ice and it came out watery. I realized the Cold brew is prepared to drink without ice, not to account for the ratio through concentrate which is the proper method. The nitro would not come out as cold. The photo is an iced quad espresso in a 20 ounce cup. You can barely see through the coffee - the machine isn't calibrated to pull correctly. It's very dark and pulls very long shots that even with the ice it made 20 ounces of cold espresso. It's unfortunate because the bean itself is fantastic. I LOVE SUMMER MOON COFFEE! I tried their coffee for the first time this week and am completely obsessed. I prefer an iced coffee, so I tried the winter moon. The first time I tried the 1/4 and then the 1/2. Both so amazing. Super smooth and creamy. Their moon milk is a signature sweet cream that they add to their espresso. Their food is also delicious. We tried the banana bread, croissants and the breakfast burrito. Everything is fresh and so, so good. The store is very cute with merch for sale. They have mugs, hats & stickers. Hands down my favorite spot to grab a coffee to go. I loved it when I visited Texas, so I took the 2 hour ride from Fort Lauderdale to check it out, and it definitely did not disappoint. The coffee is stellar. It definitely outshines the competition in quality. I think their moon milk is the true winner. Yes, they sell it by the bottle, so you can make it at home! They have pre-made concoctions to order but also a "secret menu." They were more than happy to give suggestions of what to order, even if it wasn't on the menu. Take them up on their suggestions. They are made extra special and really delicious. It was so good. I went back a second time! There's a wide variety of mugs and bagged coffee, and even some apparel. They are pricey though but very nice quality. I just wish they had tumblers for iced coffee, but maybe one day! I've been here 3 times now since they opened and keep recommending it to all of my friends! We stopped by last week as a treat for my husband becoming a citizen and we grabbed a few baked goods this time. The guava croissant and cinnamon roll were just to die for and my husband grabbed a seasonal latte (the global) which was amazing and you could still taste the delicious coffee. It wasn't too sweet. On vacation and wanted something, not dunkin'. Yelped and found this coffee shop, the only one in Florida I learned a Texas base company. Parking is super easy because it's located in a shopping center. Inside is small with some tables. There is also a small outside seating area. The girl at the register was so sweet. Actually, everyone was so sweet. I had the girl recommend me a drink as I live in PA, so I would likely not be back if so, not for a while. She recommended the seasonal drink off the winter menu, which was the smores. I got a 20oz Iced toasted s'mores latte for $6.50. My mom got a winter moon latte Iced 20oz for $6.30. She let us taste their cold foam, and OMG, it was amazing!! I actually enjoyed my mom's drink better. Mine was good. However, there was cinnamon in it, so threw off tasting like a smores. However, it's still good. Just a FYI, they only have very few pastries to choose from if you wanted a bite to eat. read more

Searching for a good coffee shop was a bit of a challenge in this area. I'm glad I came across this gem. Beautiful, clean, bright, and inviting, this is exactly what I look for! Being my first time to summer moon, I had a bit of questions. The friendly ladies behind the counter answered all of my curiosities and shared a bit of the company history with me as well. I even tried an item that included the sweet "Moon Milk" which they described as being akin to a milkshake or sweet cream. I personally felt a bit of reminisce of egg-nog, but more pleasant when I tried it solo. I ordered the Quad moon shaker and enjoyed it. I typically like my espresso drinks warm, not hot. OBSESSED is an understatement!!! This is one of my favorite coffee shops in fort myers. I've visited three times before posting because I feel like consistency with coffee is important (nothing worse than loving a drink one day ordering a second time and it tasting different) summer moon has consistently exceeded my expectations. My go to is the iced vanilla latte it's amazing with or without their "moon milk" ! My boyfriend orders the cold brew and he's picky & loves it. When it comes to food we've tried the ham croissant & turkey croissant both are DELICIOUS!!! The croissant itself is high quality, topped with everything bagel type seasoning & stuffed with cheese / your meat inside. I also appreciate the atmosphere the employees are kind & the building is trendy & cute. This is the fresh breath of air we needed in fort myers. 10/10 reccomend read more
