I've been following along with Shift on IG for quite a few years now (since they were a coffee cart/pop-up), and I've had them on my list to check out foreverrrr. I'm only in town a couple times a year and I don't always make it to the downtown area. During our most recent visit, we stayed at an Airbnb nearby and I finally got to visit Shift (YAY!)... What a great local coffee shop! The inside is cute & minimal and I loved the mural spanning the space. The staff was super friendly as we perused the menu, and my decision was easy once I saw that they have a seasonal fall menu featuring house made syrups. The carrot cake one immediately caught my eye, and I ordered a carrot cake latte. My husband got the classic pumpkin spice and yep, it was like drinking fall in a cup. It's so cool to see a gem like this reppin' the hometown. Also cool that they brew Bandit Coffee (out of St. Pete) which we are big fans of. Wishing them continued success and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area! read more

My daughter has developed a taste for Matcha and every morning she craves for, lives for and consumes Matcha. That is not a taste that I have any interest in developing as I would rather eat grass mixed with seaweed than sip on Matcha. Getting that out of the way, on a trip to Ft. Meyers, a request for Matcha was made and sure enough we spent the early morning yelping for Matcha and found this place. It looks fairly new and is part of an apartment t complex. The place is small, and sure enough the clientele fitted the Matcha seekers that have popped up in all urban areas. There were Lululemon' on display, women with tiny dogs, bodies that should all be on the cover of magazines and foreign cars in the parking lot. My daughter got her Matcha which set her on a high energy mood and excited for the rest of the day, so atleast I got something out of it. I did not want to be seen anywhere near a Matcha place so had my dark glasses on, a cap and stayed close to the entrance. My daughter did order me a chocolate chip cookie to make up for my misery and In all fairness it was really good. My daughter raved about her Matcha hence the 4 stars. So if you are craving Matcha, carry a small dog and fit in Lululemon clothing you have found your match!! read more

Found this coffee bar when we were driving by and thought we would stop. It looked cute but the menu is very limited. I got a cappuccino latte and a cinnamon bun. They do not offer non fat milk so I got whole milk. It was good but not really what I wanted. The cinnamon bun was interesting- a first for me as it was vegan. Again it was fine, just not what I wanted. Nice place but it just wasn't our jam. read more

The barista was super friendly and suggested the lavender vanilla syrup to go on my matcha latte and he was spot on. Shift is one of my most favorite coffee shops. Their coffee is excellent (sourced from Bandit) and all of the syrups are homemade. The staff is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Wow! Yes! I'm so glad we stumbled on this awesome shop. Dropped in before we had to fly out and grabbed a couple of drinks. Loved my latte and the matcha tonic was good too. The baristas were friendly and I chatted a bit with the owner (I think) who shared a bit about the coffee scene in the area with me. Small space but we managed to snag a table and there were a couple of other folks having meetings and hanging out. Foot traffic wasn't disruptive and it was an overall pleasant vibe. Grabbed a bag of beans they had for sale from a roaster in the area and some swag. Keep up the good work--really love what y'all have going on! read more

Do yourself a favor and order cold brew or latte by the gallon or half gallon while your on vacation in the Cape Coral area. Have it delivered to your door. So delicious and nice to be able to pour a cold one while hanging out by the pool or on your way to the beach. I visited the Fort Myers / Sanibel Island area from Nashville, TN, and this is probably my favorite coffee shop in the area. It has a very clean, chic aesthetic and friendly staff! The barista gave me a sample of the nitro cold brew since it was my first time there! If visiting, I'd recommend getting that. Their nitro is very velvety and tastes great--no need for cream/milk/etc. It was so yummy I ended up getting a "growler" of the nitro cold brew to-go. I'm definitely adding this place to my list of "must visits" whenever I'm back in the area next year for vacation! read more

Shift is an excellent coffee shop. While it's pretty small, it's still an excellent cup of coffee. If you like coffee and care about quality over quantity this is the pace for you. The shop is small, but with it being in Florida just go outside if you can't find a place to sit. They have tasty lattes and artisan nitro cold brew. The customer service is great and they are super friendly. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee or latte to start your day or to keep your day going I would definitely recommend Shift. Shift Coffee Bar is a great little pop up coffee bar in the Fort Myers neighborhood. Saturday late morning, my husband and I went to Remedies Parlor, an apothecary boutique on Thompson St, because that's where the pop up was that day. I will leave a separate review for Remedies Parlor (it was also 5 star!) Hubby and I ordered and drank 2 rounds of coffee. First round was a large Nitro Cold Brew for the both of us. We've had it before and love it so it was a sure thing. It was fresh and delicious. Didn't need any milk or sugar at all. Second round I ordered an iced chai latte and hubby got an iced mocha latte. These were AMAZING! Smooth, creamy and had the perfect ratio of espresso, oat milk and flavor. I could've gotten another but after 2 large caffeinated drinks, I needed to chill lol. Definitely woke us up! We learned that Shift Coffee Bar started off serving the employees at Chico's headquarters and became so popular and loved that they have now branched out and will be seen all around town. The owner, Donnie, and the other guy that worked the bar were SUPER friendly and really know their stuff. I felt good that they were both wearing masks and everything was extremely clean.
