I would avoid this Starbucks at all costs! I don't even know where to start. I was in there on a Sunday and it took me 25 minutes to get my order. I was completely ignored and the employees acted like the customers were invisible. They seemed very unhappy and acted like they hated their job. Which is amazing as this one seemed to have more technology than any Starbucks I had ever seen. 4 people on staff and it seems like no one had a "job" all 4 were bouncing around versus actually making drinks and getting customers out the door. Sure, one time I had to double check with the staff on my order and eventually ask for one drink to be remade, but I'd say the staff's attention to customers is top notch. For instance, I was waiting around for my in-store pickup (regretfully, as curbside option "disappeared" on the app) for I guess a slightly extended period of time - so I had a couple staff check-in with me to see if I was helped. They seemed really busy at the time - as in, the barista in front of me had non-stop moving hands - so those gestures were much appreciated! Also, it's the only standalone Starbucks around town - time to time there is minor frustration, but we are fortunate to have this crew around! We especially appreciate curbside service during these times (though I wish the option was available all day, not dependent on store traffic) - which isn't available at the Kroger locations we used to frequent. read more

I love Starbucks so much but today 06/16 at 7:05 i ordered a strawberry açaí with water instead of lemonade but also order 2 more with lemonade. Usually I would just not saying anything but it was clearly lemonade and the dude had an attitude basically saying I was wrong . I know my Starbucks and I know what lemonade tastes like . The last few times I have been I have waited more than 30 minutes for one single drink and no it's not complicated at all. white chocolate mocha latte with sweet cream cold foam.... So why is I'm waiting so long and yes I am using the mobile app ( I was told it gets your order faster) also why is it I always have to ask them to put my cold foam in my drink, why is it being forgotten about almost every time! Even though their employees are always nice, they are ALWAYS out of products. Whether it is the nitro brew, additives, or sweeteners it never fails they are always out. Its getting quite annoying paying $5-$10 for coffees when you drive to the window to have them tell you half of the items you bought they do not have. Placed an on-line order at 10:50. Sat in the store till 11:40. FINALLY a worker asked me what I was waiting on and made it. Had gone up and stood at the bar for five minutes without being acknowledged and went back and sat down. This place needs serious customer service training. They often have drive through traffic backed out to the street, even if they have very few customers inside. Yesterday I waited 45 minutes inside after placing my order. So two days in a row it's been like this. Today they claimed there was no ticket for my drink. My info and receipt was in the app. They were busy inside and out today. I understand waiting, but not that long! And the time to mop the floor and clean counters is NOT while you're slammed. Two workers were puttsing around while cars and customers were lined up out the wazoo. Totally ridiculous customer service here. This place frustrates me. read more

All I can assume is poor management. The place is always struggling to keep employees, maintain cleanliness, and deliver orders efficiently and quickly. This has been a terrible location for the last two years or more. I can sit down at Longhorn and get a steak brought out faster than I can get a drink at SBUX even if I place the order ahead. They are constantly closing early, and as of today, they have a printed sign taped to the door that they close at 3pm now. I travel for work every week and visit many different locations. It depends on the barista you get, but there's a 92% chance your coffee will be made spot on -- unless you have a complicated order, or the barista is NEW new. Which is okay, people need to learn somehow. If you want to return ANYTHING, go to Kroger's customer service. They DO return items without a receipt despite what young child is the barista for the day, and how much of a fight you make of it. The barista doesn't understand how to make clear of this: Starbucks at THIS location doesn't do returns -- they CANT. They're affiliated with Kroger. STARBUCKS WILL return items without a receipt, at their private locations. Please, train your baristas at this location. I don't like liars. They change Leads like seasons: when Rachel was overseeing things it was clear everything ran smoother and new hires were being trained correctly. When Sunny was there, the atmosphere was a lot cheerful. It was great with that team, though as the visits past the more disappointed I am with their customer service skills and self entitlement. read more

As a long time Starbucks customer, I have learned to only go to stand alone locations (I refuse to go into grocery stores or target for my Starbucks) and I only order through the app. The reason for both is I am a fussy orderer, I don't order anything straight from the menu, everything is specialized to my liking. Having said that, as I was driving through Carrollton GA the order ahead was not working for this location today, so I knew if I wanted my coffee I was going to have to give a verbal order. I took a leap of faith, spoke slowly, reading my order to the young man on the intercom. He nailed it! Going on 30 minutes in the lobby waiting for my 1 drink. Every employee appears to be lost behind the counter.

Although the customer service is great, every single time I order my drink it is wrong... firstly the employees are not making things the same way. I order a venti blonde vanilla late with cinnamon cold foam. Most of the time it is made with cinnamon dulce and ground cinnamon blended into the cold foam but some employees use Carmel for some reason & insist that's how it should be made when I complain.. one very nice employee made a few different cold foams for me to try one day and helped me figure out what to order which ended up being cinnamon dulce with ground cinnamon blended into it .. now I try to order that and every single time it is either still some type of Carmel cold foam or the cinnamon is put on top which just gives you a mouthful of it. I have tried to explain this to them, I have asked what am I doing wrong, how can I fix this?? But every time it is the same process. I'm almost at a free drink with the point system & after that will no longer be coming here. Yes, the wait time can be crazy but they are always extremely busy so what do you expect... I wish we could have fixed this problem but I'm tired of paying $8.03 for a drink that's wrong every time... I left 4 stars because the staff really is super nice and helpful & the wait time shouldn't affect that nor my drink being wrong a lot. read more

I love Starbucks and have thought about writing this review for some time now. I prefer to mobile order my drinks because if you try to get in the drive through, most of the time they are sold out of everything when you order. On the other hand if you go inside there are 4/5 workers but no one is taking orders so you will stand there for 10 minutes before someone ask if they can help you. Mobile ordering here is a different beast. I order 10 minutes before leaving my house and it takes 10 minutes for me to get there. Leaving a good 20 minutes for my drink to be mad and ready by the time I get there even when my drink says it's supposed to be ready on the app, it NEVER is. I have nothing to say good about this Starbucks. This is genuinely the worse one I have ever been too. I have been to slam packed ones in New York, Atlanta, and LA and never ever have I had this much of horrible service like i do in CARROLLTON Georgia. Literally a no body town. It amazes me this location is still open. If I HAD to recommend at least one starbucks in this town it would be the one located inside of Kroger. That's just flat out sad. I am currently standing around waiting for my order to be ready as I am writing this. This is the second day in a ROW I have waited over 20 minutes for a drink. Please don't come here at all. I am writing this review to warn you all. The application process takes way too long, especially when I called the hiring manager so many times for her to have great communication and let me know how long it will take; however, I was deceived and lied to so many times that she said one day that she expected a call between 8 and 5 p.m., but I never heard back from her. The next day, she told me that she would call me between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., but I never returned her call; So, I called the customer service department and told them that I was constantly tired of texting and calling her so many times, so I would appreciate it if they could keep me posted on the application. As a result, the hiring manager had an attitude toward me because I was showing aggression and attitude in my message, which is true, I admit, but I told her, "You won't waste my time with bad communication. You promised to call me twice, and it's been two weeks.". As a final statement, she said, "If you think it's ridiculous, don't show up here at all," which upset me because if you'd told me earlier that you weren't interested in hiring me, I would've understood; however, lying twice about getting a call back and getting upset with me when I explained how the application process was slow is absolutely ridiculous. read more
