This location can get monstrous drive thru lines that take a while but they won't mess your drink up and you they're working hard. I like to tip them, they do a great job. Especially Sophia and Devon, amazing customer service. read more

This is a review of the newly remodeled location. Who cranked up the A/C? The place was freezing. The location always seemed to be crowded, but today the place was sparsely populated probably due to the fact that customers didn't know that it had reopened. If anything, it looks like the interior seating area is smaller and less inviting than before. There is a large communal high top table near the ordering area, and many individual seats that line a counter around the windows. Four large chairs don't look as comfortable as the ones that they replaced. Most of the new chairs don't look very comfortable either, maybe they're trying to dissuade people from spending a long time in the store after buying one item. Not looking forward to future remodeling slated for the other Cedar Rapids locations. read more

Terrible service. Only customer in the store who they didn't ask my name. Had to wait extra for my chocolate croissant because no name on my order. When I asked the girl why I was the only one she didn't ask my name, she said she forgot & I should go try to have a better day than ruin everybody else's day. 5/5 because the customer service here on the day after Christmas was amazing! I pulled up to the drive-thru a little after 1:30 for a hot chocolate; despite the drive-thru being 8 cars deep things were moving along smoothly. I waited 12 minutes from the time I ordered until I actually received my drink. No worries, I knew they were busy and I wasn't in a hurry. The customer in front of me must have had some crazy ridiculous order because inevitably she was the reason the wait was so long. I got to the drive-thru window and Liz was so sweet she insisted I take my drink for free because of the 12 minute delay. Awesome! For Liz's sake I hope the customers behind me were sweet to her. read more

Friendly, fast, clean. A drive thru location as well. So far this bucks is meeting all expectations. The only negative was finding it the first time. The location also has great seating, inside and outside, weather permitting. I definitely plan on coming back. read more

My FAVORITE Starbucks, hands down! I have been to Starbucks in several states and this one tops them all because their customer service is impeccable. Not only are they friendly & accommodating, but they also keep the tables clean and everything well stocked. Unlike the Starbucks in Iowa City & Coralville, this one is large so that it never gets too crowded. The outside area is spacious enough that you are not forced to overhear everyone's conversations or feel like you are sitting on top of the person next to you. The staff is awesome! We were holding a meeting.on the patio and had our dogs along. Tornado sirens went off and they ushered everyone, including the dogs, into the store to make sure we all stayed safe. They kept us appraised of the weather and kept the drinks coming! read more

The chai latte I got was kind of bland. Coffesmith's chai lattes were somehow buttery and they reminded me of Christmas. Also, the double drive thru that Coffesmith's had was more efficient and had a personal touch because you spoke to the baristas in person rather than through an intercom. You really can't go wrong with a starbucks. Since all the stores are company owned, corporate always makes sure they are up to par. I love this location and the staff are helpful and friendly. The environment is great and the wifi is fast. I recommend the white chocolate mocha or joy tea brewed in steamed apple juice. read more

I have been stopping at this location every day for the past few weeks. Friendly people but when I order a coffee I want a coffee, not a cup of ice/ cream. This morning my drink was so full of ice I could not even put a straw through it, the cup then flipped over and spilt all down the front of my work pants (which I now have to wear all day) after getting a workers attention she then just poured my coffee into another glass emphasized how she put light ice in it, and did not replace the caramel drizzle on top. lets just say this was the worst experience and not a good start to my day.
