A wonderful coffee shop in Marion that I often times forget about! They have some of the best breakfast from burritos to paninis to gigantic cinnamon rolls. I also love their flavored black coffee (usually I am a fufu coffee girl with the lattes and macchiatos). If you are into fufu coffees like me they have those here as well. I deducted a star however as they make their chai tea from powder (not cool). Hopefully down the road they will switch to homemade chai tea as it is better quality, flavor, and made with natural ingredients unlike the processed powder (end of rant). Definitely give Mr. Beans a try for breakfast or lunch sometime... you will not be disappointed! read more

This place has a lot going on. And what I mean by that is the employees have a lot going on. They are all over the place, it's like organized chaos! but they somehow manage to stay friendly, fast, and put out great food. My order was taken in a confusing manor that I was sure would not be right but to my surprise I did get exactly what I ordered. I had a turkey deli sandwich on Rye and a cup of tomato bisque soup both of which were amazing! The soups were obviously homemade and packed with flavor, and the rye bread was some of the best I have had around the Marion area. Great lunch stop. I will be returning soon to try more of these amazing soup and sandwich combos. read more

Meh coffee but a wide selection, food is avg, and the atmosphere is a weird combination of hang out spots, high tables and TVs for some reason. The worst experience is the awful WiFi. Maybe that's on purpose so people don't hang out, idk? Either way, I'm not hanging out or coming back. Too bad Marion doesn't have more choices for Coffee. Wouldn't be hard to beat this one. Suggestion: ditch the annoying daytime TV, get some nice background music. read more

I am not a fan of coffee but happened to stop in since there are no other food options on this side of Marion (other than Casey's). I had the Chicken Salad with gouda cheese which was absolutely delicious. The location is a little difficult to find and if I wasn't meeting friends here who told me where to look....I would have never found it. Biggest complaint is that the WiFi stinks...so don't expect to get much done on it. I'll be back, but I'm not sure that I'll try anything else but the chicken salad. read more

I use to eat here a lot when I started working in the downtown area. I have noticed a decrease in quality of food and service. Staff is most of the time unfriendly and treat you like you are at a fast food restaurant. Coffee is so so, if ordering latte or anything involving expresso they brew it from pre packaged coffee pods, not fresh ground. Pretty pricy for the quality! read more

Reminds me of one of the trendy cafes on Hawthorne in Portland, OR. This place needs more hippies and yuppies driving BMW's, Volvos and VWs. Nice place but they don't know how to make a latte, tried a medium and tried a large with an extra shot! Both tasted No coffee! Just frothed milk. And the latte, both times although made by different baristas was with no foam. read more

I ate here for lunch today for the first time, and the food was great. I got the steak panini and broccoli cheese soup which were both excellent. The staff was extremely friendly. My only complaint was for how many staff members they had, and only a 1/4 full dining area, we still ended up searching for a table with the least amount of crumbs on it. I used to love this place when I would come to town. The farmhouse clubs were delicious as were other sandwiches and soups. This time it was so disappointing. It took a half hour to get 3 sandwiches made for a to go order and the cost was $32 for the sandwiches and 2 pieces of carrot cake. Clearly understaffed to handle the food prep and shouting order names at people standing at the counter waiting. No bacon on the farmhouse club as described once we finally got to eat. Such a shame as this place used to be good. It's just not what it used to be. read more

Mr Beans in Marion is the best place to go if you are looking for a sandwich to go or if you want to sit for hours and visit with friends. Expect to wait a bit if you go during to rush hour but it is worth the wait. The pretzel roll with roast beef, provolone cheese, and horseradish sauce is my favorite. I have eaten most of the sandwiches on the menu and several of the salads and not been disappointed with any of them. My favorite soup is the Tomato Basil YUM! The sugar cookies are huge and wonderful. Get one to share or hide it and nibble away all afternoon. Go eat, stay and visit, knit, or play cards. To start with my boyfriend and I walked in with high hopes it is the only restaurant close to our home and we were looking forward to having a regular place to go. We will not be returning. The service left a lot to be desired the first lady who we had contacted us was a bit abrupt and left us and had another lady to serve us. The food was bland without flavor definitely not worth the wait or cost. We received items that we did not want ie potato chips. My coffee au lait was nothing but milk there was no taste of coffee. When I mentioned that we will not be returning just on the quality of food received i was told you ate it couldn't have been that bad this phrase was from the first server.
