I also ordered the butternut squash danish. It was very flaky and the filling wasn't too sweet. A nice compliment to my drink. My mom ordered the Kayla Chai which she said was good! So I was instructed to throw it in the garbage and no type of replacement would be given. What a way to treat people. We all know things happen. $16 waisted.

If a customer is standing there right in front of you and looking right at their order that's been sitting there and several employees just walk back and forth right past it without saying anything then that is horrible customer service. It is not the customers job to say something when they are standing right in front of you, it is your job to first greet the customer and ask how may i help you. I am standing in the order pick at the front so obviously I am there to pick up an order. This place needs a change of ownership because this is a constant problem. I will never visit this Mcdonalds again. Unfortunately this is a problem in pretty much most of the Mcdonalds in in our neighborhoods! Poor customer service, poor training and poor attitudes!!!!!!

Worst Starbucks in America and it is literally one of the nicest buildings and patios. The management was found on the streets of Chicago with absolutely no training or professionalism. 15 workers in the place (sometimes more workers than customers) and they still are slow and have terrible attitudes. Highly recommend you find another one. read more

This is one of the better locations I've found. Part of the appeal may just be the stark relief it offers for the rest of the neighborhood. In general most of these places are overpriced, the trade off being the people and the ambiance. This location might actually be worth it. read more

We went to support and split a breakfast sandwich. You had to get in line and get a ticket to get the free coffee. I found a seat and grabbed a coffee and free Danish. My party ordered a London Fog tea and a breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage. It took almost 40 minutes for her to get this order! I KNOW it was very busy due to community support but with 3-4 people behind the counter it should be faster than that. Luckily we had a tv on with closed captions, and very LOUD music to pass the time. Not sure if it was because it was a high profile day but a DJ was on hand with dance tunes and I sat not far from the speaker! I admit it's not what I want when I get coffee; the Hyde Park branch is much quieter, but it's a different clientele. Trey was onhand chatting and taking pictures. A photographer took our pic for the 'Gram, so that was nice. The baristas were friendly and professional for the 1.5 hours we were there, such troopers, but it was hectic at times. I'm glad they are still around to provide good coffee(seriously I can't think of another place in that immediate area to get hot drinks besides a gas station) but the DJ blocks off the additional seating that could be used for a quiet sip (and savor).
