They've messed up my drinks twice now. Once? Ok Maybe they are having an off day. But 2 times? My birthday reward was wasted on a "Frappuccino" without the extra whipped cream or oatmilk like I asked when I ordered it online. And all I got was an icy mess with the wrong lid on top so I can't even drink it. I ended up going to Mariemont's Starbucks instead. I went to Starbucks yesterday I asked for a grande drink with no ice. I was told that because I got no ice that she was only gonna fill the cup 3/4 of a way this makes no sense because all your hot drinks that you get from Starbucks have no ice but because I got a cold drink and I have very very sensitive teeth with no ice she explained to me it was a Starbucks policy that if customers get drinkswith no ice they can't fill the cup up. This makes no sense to me. I would need Starbucks to show me a store policy or a policy that this is true. I believe the young lady was not empathetic and she was a personal attack on me. read more

I walked in to get my mobile order and asked the lady for a straw for my iced coffee because their new cups hurt my teeth when the ice from my coffee hits them. Everything was fine until the lady told me that there's a straw shortage and I should consider a reusable straw and that they sell them in the store. I'm traveling from out of town and I just really didn't appreciate the comment considering they were clearly stocked with straws. Glad this isn't my usual location. read more

Updated: Love the red! You can feel the Holliday warm already with the new drinks. I would recommend the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. Also the drinks aren't the only great things about this Starbucks. I love the employees here. They're always so friendly and efficient. Even tho you know someday the line would be out to the door but they always do everything they can to get your coffee right to get your day better. Mine is always better with coffee. Normally I do mobile order but I get here early today to sit down n enjoy the weather for a bit. They have plenty of room outside but there is small corner w a single table and chair. It is nice to sit there relaxing and have the space for yourself. I came with my mom and have her take a pic there. It's cute. Priscilla is helpful as always. This Starbucks location is always busy! You would think it was in Chicago with how many people are here. Lots of people meet up here and do work. It's Hyde Park which is full of rich white people so that's who you will be sitting next to. They got mobile pick up which is quick and food to go. Parking can be a nightmare so you may need to walk a little bit. read more

I give this place two stars. They only get stars because the lady that took my order was really nice. First of all, 8 am on a Saturday morning. More people should be working. I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes to get one coffee. Other people that ordered ahead through the app had also been waiting for well over 20 minutes. Second of all, I ordered an iced blonde roast americano. $3.25. I literally watched the girl feel it, have a puzzled look on her face that it still wasn't cold after pouring it over ice, and then hand me the lukewarm "iced coffee" with an extra cup of ice on the side (I didn't even have to ask for that because she could see that it was already no longer an iced coffee!). Now mind you it had already been 20 minutes of waiting and I could see other people needed to get to work so I wasn't going to say anything. Third of all, they have a sign that they are proud of their "no straw" policy at this location. How about you give me the right ICED drink the first time and save the extra cup of ice and lid you handed to me. Now that may actually save plastic ‍ I do love Starbucks. However, this experience definitely make me want to try out some of the other coffee places in the area. read more

Very clean, very friendly staff. I was talked into a drink I didn't want when I realized they didn't have anymore of the cloud macchiato, same story different Starbucks. And I had ordered my drink with an extra shot because I was tired and when the barista tried to correct it by adding another shot it over filled the cup. Her solution was to dump out the espresso! Sad story I know. That was what I wanted! But she offered to remake it with a smile and all was well. Except I didn't even want this drink. This is my favorite Starbucks in all of Cincinnati! There are so many tables and benches for getting work done! There are at least 30 parking spots right outside (shared with the rusty bucket and at&t) so I've never had to park very far. The staff is kind, and efficient, and handle a rush gracefully. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's a chain and I don't think the coffee is anything special besides the fact that you can put 50 different sugary flavors in your brew. read more

I have now been going to the Rookwood Starbucks for over a year now. It is my go-to place to spend hours at a time doing school work or the spot I go to "work from home." It is so amazing that I don't even go to my neighborhood Starbucks in Clifton. I actually make a trip on the interstate to come to this one. Every morning, no matter what the day is, the establishment is completely packed but the workers handle the situation so well with a smile, and good morning, and amazing customer service. The store is ALWAYS clean and very very rarely will mess up an order. There are tons of places to sit and equally as many outlets - I would recommend coming earlier in the day to snag one though. Today was red cup day and mobile order was down for this location (BIG YIKES). But the Rookwood employees did not let this stop them from killing their coffee delivery. There were 9 workers behind the counter! The line went out the door and I was still served as quick as ever. Throughout the morning, workers walked around the store with holiday beverage samples and acted like it was any other morning. Thank you Rookwood Starbucks for killing it every morning! I always try to find a local spot to get my caffeine fix, but sometimes I just need a place with easy parking that I can pop in and hammer out some work. The Starbuck in Rookwood commons definitely fits that bill. The only shortcoming on those standards is that the parking spots immediately outside quickly fill up sometimes (but there's more adjacent parking that's pretty accessible). I'm usually able to find seating, but once in a blue moon all the tables will be filled up. As a remote working I really appreciate the different kinds of seating. Sometimes, you need that cooshy bench to plop down on and hammer out some work. I never appreciated comfortable chairs until I became a remote worker (you cannot sit on a metal chair all day). The staff here is always friendly and the service quick and efficient. If you need caffeine in the Rookwood area, you can definitely find it here. read more

The garbage can was completely overflowing and needed to be emptied. And there were two tables by the comfier booth-like seating that were sticky and dirty that needed to be cleaned up. I know that you are busy with the customers, but it only takes a minute or two (literally) to quickly empty the garbage and clean tables. Not impressed with the cleanliness. read more

I get this is just outside of Hyde Park and it might be the busiest Starbucks in the area, but it took 22 minutes from walking in the door to getting my coffee at 9:45. It seemed like the staff could have used an extra team member. It leads to a cattle call picking up drinks and the barista needing to yell to find the correct owner of a drink. More on that... I'm not sure what Starbucks could do about this, but this location is LOUD. Not like coffeehouse loud, but REALLY loud. If someone closed their eyes and weren't sipping warm, caffeinated goodness, they might imagine they're in Habits, the Pilot, Oak Tavern, or BW-3's just across the parking lot. HUGE turnoff if you want to read a book, do some studying, or have a business meeting as people oftentimes do at Starbucks. read more

Like parking it can be crowded inside, but the line does go by quick. What can I say? It's a Starbucks. Specifically, it's a large, strip-mall, crowded Starbucks. At certain times of the day, you're going to wait at least 10-15 minutes to get your drink, and once you do, you won't have a table to sit at. But, the staff here are really friendly - one time when I dropped a completely full latte as I tried to pick it up (me = huge klutz), they made me a new one, free of charge. And there's a sweet spot between 1 and 3:30 pm where things quiet down and this is a pretty nice place to be, especially if you're someone who works well with headphones on in a noisy coffee shop, like me. read more

I am a regular at this Starbucks for 3 reasons: it is open till 11pm each day, it has a good amount of seating space to get work done, and there is a good amount of eye candy passing by when you need a break... This is pretty much one of the only coffee shops in the area that is open so late. Otherwise, this Starbucks is pretty typical of the brand itself. Complaints:not enough outlets for those on their laptops, the AC is way too cold during the summer, the music is too loud and terrible most of the time, there is not enough parking.
