It's a coffee bar investing in a mission, in a community center with a mission to serve the community. All of the baristas are volunteers. And the prices are very affordable! An extensive list of espresso, coffee, and tea drinks is available. Lots of syrup and flavor options. Smoothies and frappes are also on their menu. Between 11 am - 2 pm, they have a small lunch menu with 2 sandwich options. Muffins and protein bars are usually available for purchase at the counter. They offer a 10% discount for active military and Veterans. And they have a punch-card reward available too. They accept debit/credit cards and cash. The Playzone and bookstore are also in the Community Center. So if you are visiting the coffee bar, the Playzone is an indoor playground and climbing wall free for kids 2-12 years old. There are free basketball courts as well. Free Wifi is available at the coffee bar, and tables are set up for people to work, meet, eat, socialize, etc. They have inside and outdoor seating. When the weather is nice, the garage doors are open. There is usually music playing.

They sell Indiana honey, syrup, apple butter and their own roasted coffee. The staff is friendly and eager to wait on people. They welcome customers bringing in their own cups for coffee. Prices are reasonable. My spinach feta pastry came out of the oven golden brown and piping hot. I found a table outside that was quiet to enjoy my pastry. It was just the thing that I needed. I drink my coffee very slowly, so it's important that my coffee taste good as it makes its way from piping hot to lukewarm. The black coffee at The Caffeinery tastes good in all temperatures! What a relief. Sometimes, coffee will taste more bitter as it gets cold, but that's not the case with this coffee. It was good from start to finish. There's a little play space for kids here, which I love to see. I wasn't visiting with my children, but when I was a young mom, I was always on the lookout for restaurants and cafes with nooks for kids. That's really cool that The Caffeinery has a play area for children here. Parking is on the street, and I had no probably finding a free parking space.
