Stopped in later in the evening and at first was disappointed that there were no doughnuts in the case - but was quickly assured they were just made to order in the back, so everything could be made. That said, the doughnuts are largely the same base, with different fillings/toppings. Not a bad thing, but good to know. You're getting your money's worth here - they are big, messy, and delicious. This place has been open less than a month and I see it being a Muncie staple for years to come. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the inside is clean and well decorated. Absolutely an amazing doughnut. We had a coconut cream doughnut, light, fresh, flavorful .... Something I will tell my DH about & return with him. The ambience in the store was simple & elegant! First visit today and tried two flavors: vanilla carnival and lemon. Carnival won contest between these two!. Not your traditional doughnut, so this place definitely has a signature uniqueness above more traditional local doughnuts that sets them apart. Warm, flaky and carnival flavor seeped through. The lemon was a drizzle of lemon flavor, did not seep through as much, so some was simply the doughnut bread flavor and I was not crazy about the dollop of not sure what flavor, that decorated the top. Definitely recommend and will be back to try more. Customer service was excellent as well. I had popped in just as they were closing. That makes me the worst customer, so I appreciated the friendliness and smiling service. Hours noted, so I'll be sure to not stop in at closing again. Recommendation- take wet wipes!! Paid $8.08 for a specialty donut and latte. Mayan Mocha pretty good but very small. Donut wasn't for me (I got the campfire one) but they are the flaky and layered kind on the inside. I was surprised by the Americana decor- it's similar to Bioshock Infinite but if it was a donut shop. I would say its a step up from dunkin and is "more boutique". read more

I think I had more donuts here in Indy then I do in Cali. And I live in Cali. My friends who live here insisted that I needed to try this place. They stated that it is the best donut they had and told me that they were like the viral cronuts back in the day. This peaked my interest. So I was very down to try this donut place. The first thing I noticed when I entered and saw the donuts, they were not your typical classic donut flavors there. These were some of the most unique flavors of donuts I have seen. They all looked interesting, but the one that really caught my eye was the banana pudding donut and the churro flavored donut. Honestly, the nilla wafer and the whipped cream probably caught my attention the most. I also enjoyed the interior of this place, I really felt like I was in a 50s diner or parlor. The donuts were good, I really liked the banana cream flavor donut, the banana cream filling was well balanced between the pastry itself and the whipped cream, the donut itself was soft but thr way they did layer it like croissant did really make this aj unique experience. For now it gets a solid 4 stars, but if I ever return here I need to try some new flavors. read more

I agree with other reviews. This might be one the best donuts I've personally ever had. Had the Sandy Beach and the texture of the donut is more like a croissant. The bacon egg and cheese is also really delicious, also served on their croissant like donut. Definitely a unique take on donuts. Staff are really nice and attentive as well. Light, airy, large and delicious without being too guilty of fostering rapid-onset diabetes. I've not had a disappointing doughnut yet, but the autumnal pumpkin-chai doughnut needs slightly more aggressive spicing. In spring, I especially recommend the lavender glazed.
