The worst train wreck of an airport Starbucks I have ever seen. If this place is packed I would suggest heading down the escalator toward gate 90 and trying that Starbucks. Maybe you'll get lucky. It was packed today. I watched the "barista" making someone's iced caramel machiatto and running out of room to put in the espresso. So she kept dumping out the espresso on top to add more. Finally she gave up and dumped it in and it went flowing out over the edge of the glass. Dude basically got a grande glass of iced milk with a splash of espresso. Then my dry cappuccino. What a joke. I watched her just dump the milk in. Took her less than 1 second. No foam at all in my dry cappuccino. I'm not sure what she would have done if I asked for it wet? Well you know what you get with Bucks and that is why I love it! I wanted a coffee before my flight home a few weeks back and I was not going to settle for anything less than a Soy Coffee Frap, I know they are expensive and in the winter who wants a cold coffee, but I did and it's a drink I can nurse for a bit and if you have 2 hours to kill why not get your fave non beer drink in the world. Supposed to be open at 6AM started to walk up to the counter around 6:20 AM and one lady behind the counter said we are not open and turned her back to me. I'm a Starbucks fan (throw your stones if you must), and I fly out of Denver a LOT. This is the only Starbucks in the entire airport, and when I'm in the B terminal (and time allows), I take the long hike on the people movers towards gate B-83 to get my fix. I've never had a problem with any of the drinks I've gotten here. The lines can sometimes be long, but the staff do their best to keep things moving. Minutes count when you're trying to catch a flight (and especially when you have to take the long walk BACK, down the people mover, to your gate on the other freakin' end of the terminal) My biggest complaint is that the staff could stand to be a little cheerier. They don't typically smile to greet you in that Starbucks-sanctioned way. Oh, and there are no tables or chairs at which to sit and sip. The location prevents any sitting space. I love Starbucks and I hope one day Starbucks will recognize that. I always love to try their extra chocolatey chip drink with hot fudge on top. I love so much fudge that I pick out the best treats in the side of me having a small snack as a complimentary reward for even choosing Starbucks. If you think this staff is rude, you're crazy. This Starbucks is at the very far end of B, yes, which totally sucks- but the staff and service make the brisk, far, busy walk totally worth it! I was in B43 (it's far I promise) and saw people carrying Starbucks so I HAD to find it even though my plane was allegedly supposed to board in 10 minutes. Oops! Brandon (I think that's his name, Dahl?) rang me up and he was SO NICE. Everyone was sweet, the line went quick, drinks were quick, and they were so nice even after someone totally swiped my drink. Besides being the most awkwardly placed Starbucks ever, nestled between the stairs for the rest of Concourse B and the main part of Concourse B,, this is a predictable Starbucks. The staff, however, seems to get overly flustered when they mess up, inevitably costing the traveler precious time as they try to fix it.. This Starbucks is always busy, which is a good sign. I ordered a purple drink and I'm pretty sure they have never made it before because I had to tell them how to make it, even thought it had been pretty popular all summer. My drink was tasteless and watered down. I told my friend to order the sweet cream coffee and they had no idea how to make that as well. I had to tell her that she needed to add sweet cream, because my friend had just gotten a black coffee looking drink. The girl looked like she was new and had no idea what to do. The seemingly manager had to tell her what to add and it still didn't come out right. There weren't any more napkins closer to the register and I asked for more. The "manager" lady pointed to the other one further down even though there were people in front of me adding sugar to their coffees. Rude! Terrible customer service. read more

I've been trying to kick my Starbucks habit--their coffee always tastes bitter and burnt, so I prefer to seek out better coffee from local coffee shops instead. But desperate times call for desperate measures. So when I needed a boost of caffeine to fuel the last leg of my trip back home, I begrudgingly stopped by Starbucks for a fix. I knew better than to order coffee, so I opted for a chai latte (no water) instead. It boggles my mind how even the most basic drink can vary place to place. Here, the chai flavor was intense--almost overwhelmingly so. But it was caffeinated, which was all I really cared about. I will say the staff here seemed rather cranky--maybe they'd had enough of the endless stream of weary travelers, but they seemed very abrupt and borderline rude to every customer. Possibly the saddest Starbucks I've ever been to. After trekking the whole length of the B terminal to get here, I find looks of disappointment as other patrons take their first sips. That should have served as a warning. My signature drink is a plain iced coffee with soymilk, and the service was very friendly and quick, but the coffee here was SO bitter. I regret getting the venti, but when you're working on three hours of sleep and end up in Denver for a 4-hour layover, ya gotta get your caffeine fix somehow. However, it now makes perfect sense why this Starbs is at the end of the terminal--it is NOT worth the trek. The 2 stars are for the friendly service and nothing else. read more

Needed a craving fix. After hoofing it all the way to the end of B terminal (my flight was down here too) I get greeted by a frowning barista and then have to repeat my order because the 'manager' was yelling at another employee. I get its a kiosk, but you don't have to do that right at the register. Limited selection. The caramel frapp tasted awful. Probably will grab Caribou next time or try the other kiosk that is still at the end of B terminal but not as far of a hike. 2 stars because the prepackaged marshmallow dream bar hit the spot. read more

i've never written a bad review because i work in the service industry and i understand it can be difficult, but this is the worst experience i've had at a starbucks. i ordered a venti iced latte and used my rewards points to get it for free. when they called my name out it was a grande latte, and i was really looking forward to a triple espresso, so i asked them to correct it. the cashier came up to me and said "you said grande so i charged you for a grande". i know for a fact i said venti; i get a venti every time, so i told her that i in fact ordered a venti and she repeated herself saying "well i heard grande so i charged you for a grande". I reminded her that i used my reward points so it wouldn't make a difference anyway. she scoffed and said "ugh just make her a venti" to her coworker. When i got my venti latte, i could tell there were only two shots in it, which is less than standard (3 shots). So, i grabbed both the venti cup and the grande cup. i was just about to walk off when one of the women rudely said "um you can take one or the other, not both". at this point i was so over it and walked away with my double shot venti cup and decided to just write a review because those women are not doing well in the service industry. 1/2/2023 read more

this review is for the Starbuck's located in Terminal C food and shop rotunda, by the entrance to the C gates Alaska Airlines uses. don't see it anywhere on Yelp. total mixed bag of an experience, as the beverages were as good as i've had in a long while at a Starbuck's. honest. the issue at Terminal C is it took FOREVER to get waited on and served. enough that it could make you late for your flight. no lie. Starbucks take a while anyways as most drinks are sweet childlike concoctions (longer to make) but considering where we were located, urgency should enter the equation at some point, yes? sad truth is, if i had it to do over again, would probably......stand in the line again. I had a layover in Denver,CO headed to San Diego, CA. This airport had a lot to offer and sped things up with their high-speed moving walkways, but this a trek to find this Starbucks hidden away! The airport had plenty of coffee shops at the food court, but they still lack a much needed Starbucks there. When I finally found this Starbucks I was very relieved. The line was short due to the location, but I still had good service with no issues. The coffee was on point and got it fast. The only downfall to this Starbucks was location. Ok so this Starbucks is in an obscure location and unless you are transferring from a small jet plane to a larger aircraft or vice versa, you are going to miss this place. Also you wouldn't miss this place if you are a Starbucks fiend who would make your way across the end of the B terminal just for your cup of Joe. Luckily, transfers to SLC allowed us to walk on by and I was satisfied that I was able to add both Denver and Colorado mugs to my collection without leaving the airport. read more

This place is probably one of the busier Starbucks there is. I have grown to know the baristas here and can understand their stress level. They are constantly being treated like second-rate citizens by snobby passengers. They always get my order correctly, they are super nice to me, and they are fast and efficient. This review is NOT for the location near gate 90, but the one before you enter that wing of the B gates. I'm starting to question if this is really a Starbucks (not that I'm a die hard fan, but I travel enough to know what Starbucks' definition of a Flat White looks/tastes like) .... After waiting for about 10 minutes I received a watery, foamless cup of who knows what for $5. Doesn't even taste like coffee. Starbucks needs to get some trainers at this location. Or perhaps they figure we're all desperate, captive travelers with no better options. This is the second time I've had a dismal experience (cappuccino and now flat white) at this location. I was on my back from Montana when I stopped for a layover in Denver. Seeing as it was my first time flying alone I walked all the way from the C concourse to the B concourse to find my terminal. I had a few hours to kill and I was craving a Double Choclatey Chip Frappe. I knew I had to walk over 50 terminals back to where I just was with my 20 pound bag to get it. It was totally worth it. The service was quick even though the lines were long and it was the best DCCF I've ever had. Im from New York and I would kill to have one of those everyday.
