The service was the best I have ever experienced in such a busy location! There were so many people in line (like a Disneyland ride line lol) because it was 8am during the week, yet the staff was so so efficient. I figured it would take me a while to get through the line, but I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got through. Within a couple minutes I was in front of the clerk who took my order. He read it back to me since I had some special requests and he got everything correct. Then I moved over to the pick up area where the sweetest 2 girls on the planet greeted everyone and thanked them as they gave them their orders. There were two baristas making the hot drinks and the girls handing out the drinks were also running around grabbing peoples food order and making cold drinks in between handing out the drinks that the barista was making. Wow!!! I mean they had this down to a science! Everyone knew what their job was and everyone moved with a quickness. Whoever the manager is, they are so lucky to have such great staff. I travel a lot!!! I mean a lot. And I have visited what feels like a million different Starbucks and I can honestly say this is the first time I am reviewing a Starbucks. I just had to. All the staff there were really amazing so I didn't want to mention just one name. Each and every staff member on August 5th at exactly 8:18 am deserves a round of applause and pats on their back for a job well done! I am not just writing this review on yelp but I am also writing a review on the Starbucks website so hopefully the corporate level realized how amazing their staff at the DEN airport are!!! Unhappy with the service. I feel like I tipped for no reason. There were 7 employees out in the front, and it looked like one in the back. There was no line and I waited 20 minutes to get my drink. At the 10 minute mark they asked me what I was waiting for and I told them. The young lady takes 10 minutes to make various other drinks and then asks me again what drink I'm waiting for. When I finally got my drink it looked and tasted like mostly lemonade, so I asked if I could get some more green tea. They were nice and she did change my drink and gave me a venti. I understand that most of these employees are young and this is probably just a part time job for them, still it'd be nice to have a little more urgency and efficiency especially if there are so many staff members and no line. Also there was one lady who was eating in between making these drinks... I just think that's unsanitary if working with food, but that is my opinion. read more

This location is never really busy when I fly through, so I thought I would stop and get a shaken espresso before my flight. There were 5 people behind the counter just standing around, not paying attention. I ordered a shaken espresso, which is iced, and received some sort of hot drink. I relayed I ordered a shaken espresso and they offered to remake it but my flight was about to board and didn't have time to wait. I taste my whatever it is they made and it was atrocious. This review is for the Starbucks at Gate B80 in the Denver Airport B Concourse. If I could leave zero stars... I would. After being told "we'll be with you in a minute"...and then standing several more minutes at the register - watching the two staff members tend to everything but the waiting customer- I inquire for an update on when someone could take my order. No one - repeat - no one else is waiting. One other lone customer at the end of the bar, is waiting for his drink to be made. Scolding manner of the young woman - to me for having the temerity to ask when my order can be taken - does not reflect well on Starbucks. If you are late opening... then put one of the staff on the register and the other one on start-up activities. This is an airport. Your customers are under time constraints. I work at the airport and decided to get Starbucks at the location near gate B29. I do the mobile order to save time and usually the wait isn't too bad, even when they're busy (which they always are). Starbucks in the airport is much more expensive than other stores, so take heed! I ordered the same drink every day (in the evenings) for about 7 days straight, and EVERY SINGLE DRINK was wrong and was way too sweet, no espresso (even when I ordered extra shots), and was not mixed with the syrup settled at the bottom of the cup. The ONLY customization I did on my orders was extra shots, so my drinks were not complicated by any means, yet they still were wrong every time! I finally decided to just go to McDonalds for a plain coffee that costs 1/4 of what Starbucks does and tastes much better (if you can believe that). The employees seem to be nice for the most part and something MANY people don't understand is how overworked and under-appreciated airport Starbucks employees are. Yes, I understand they're there to do a job, but they deal with hundreds of impatient and hurried passengers a day and don't get any reprieve from the long lines and backed up orders. For those who complain about Starbucks employees being rude, how about showing some genuine compassion and friendliness to them and quit being entitled to hurry up and get your matcha soy latte. read more

Terminal B STARBUCKS is the absolute worst service hands down. Ordered a simple medium coffee, medium chai, oatmeal, and egg bite. Stood for 45 minutes waiting along with a crowd of 30+ individuals. Mobile orders and counter orders all waiting extensive amounts of time. After 45 minutes of waiting we got a medium coffee, small chai, oatmeal without water and stale oats and cardboard tasting almonds. We never received the egg bites even after my husband brought the receipt to the counter asking if they had been made yet. They took his receipt and ignored him. We finally had to leave to catch our flight. The oatmeal was not edible and the coffee and chai were mediocre at best. DO NOT expect service, speed, or your order if you decide to purchase from this establishment. read more

After waiting over 10 minutes in line and clearly ordering my USUAL I get at every Starbucks almost everyday. I ordered a "venti iced chia latte with soy." I wait patiently for another 5 minutes and I'm handed the smallest Starbucks I've ever seen. I tell the other lady I ordered a venti and she said no you ordered and paid for a tall. (Which tall means small??). I paid the same price for the "tall" that I pay for the Venti in my home state of Arizona so when she said it was $6 something I didn't think twice. Anyways, I said no I didn't order this little drink I ordered a venti. So the lady then asks the very slow moving cashier what I ordered and she said I ordered a tall. I ask how can you mix up Venti and tall. The cashier and the lady making the drinks were rude and slow working, but mostly rude and could care less about customer service. Had they made me my original order of a venti I probably would have tipped them but with such poor attitudes and neither wanting to be there (obvious by their actions) I just said give me my drink. Then as I walked away they started talking about me and how they right. The chia latte has so much soy milk in it, it's the worst one I've ever had. All around bad experience and when fly back home I will NOT be stopping at this Starbucks. Such lack of customer service and rudeness. They left the counter and went to hangout in the back room. 625am contacted customer support. They said it was supposed to be open at 6am. At 630am they start turning on lights and open. 634am they take our order. No one still making coffee. 653am handed coffee. No apologies or explanation. Airport Starbucks. You know them, you love them? Coffee/tea in a hurry. You've got this or Caribou in DIA. Least in the B terminal or a smaller newsstand coffee. They'll take your rewards card. Warmed hot food. Only two Starbucks in terminal B. One top of the stairs by the New Belgium restaurant and another at the United Express end of the B gates around gate B 89. Staff is friendly and quick. I haven't personally had a messed up drink or snack but it probably happens time to time. Prices are a few cents more because it's in the airport. But it's a Starbucks. More so than the one in your King Soopers or local Safeway. Friendly staff. Lines by New Belgium get long with people unable to stand to one side letting traffic through. The Starbucks towards the end of the B gates is better line wise. Upstairs better drink quality wise. Gone to both and been satisfied though. Discount if you work at the airport. Friendly smile and when the peak times hit they have enough staff at both. Say thank you after getting your order. read more

After experiencing a bad Cap at the previous Starbucks - I found another Starbucks at the extreme far end of the B Concourse - the end of the B Regional Jet Facility. Here is a cluster of B Gates - 80-95 - with a Starbucks nestled right in the middle. I ordered a tall double shot latte. Again, very, very bitter, no creaminess, it was like they had no clue how to make a latte. This Starbucks is located in the Denver International Airport - near Gate B83. We couldn't believe how out of the way this Starbucks was. It was a lot further than we expected. We had thirty minutes before our flight boarded and by the time we found it and got back to our gate, our boarding group had already been called. Luckily we still made it on time! The location itself is in sort of an odd spot, very close to the narrow walkway to get to a few gates. I think that when this place gets busy, it would create a hazard for people walking to and from that area. Not real good planning in that aspect. Along the way to this Starbucks, we saw many other coffee places which we would have gone to instead if I wasn't going strictly for the You Are Here mugs. I needed to add to my collection! I told my boyfriend that I was gonna be really mad if we got all the way over there and they didn't have any mugs! But thankfully, there were plenty in stock. They had Colorado, Denver, Aspen, and Vail. I ended up getting the Denver and Aspen ones because they were so pretty. We ordered two frappuccinos and they were quick to make them and they tasted good. I was happy to get my mugs and some coffee before our flight, but I wish they had a better location! read more

Absolutely a garbage Starbucks to go to. The employees here are a bunch of rude and spoiled early 20 something's that have absolutely no sense of customer service. This is my second time here and have received the same type of treatment from the baristas. when trying to verify the order that was made they talk down to you like your stupid for even questioning them. this placed needs new management and employees ASAP. If you want a better Starbucks experience, go toward the west side of the concourse and you'll get the service you expect. read more

I wish this Starbucks was more centrally located in concourse B. Instead, it's at one end, past B 60. There are other coffee places, but you know how starbucksies are. It's actually a bit awkward for travelers who are just trying to get to their gate since the crowd waiting for drink orders over flows into the walkway. Even with its far off location, there is still a line and the aggravated fliers of DEN increase the tension in the air. The workers handle it well for the most part, but they aren't what I'd call friendly. Even when another customer took my drink (yeah, I saw you take my iced water and then overheard you tell your friend that it's free anyway), they kind of rudely made me another. When you have a 7 am flight, this 'Bucks is like an oasis in the vast wasteland of the chaotic United Regional Terminal. The team who pull your coffee or froth the foam for your lattes are really nice and it's hard to knock them for their lack of efficiency and speed. This is at far end of terminal b (by the 80 gates) before you go downstairs. The location of this place was kind of an after thought, just jammed into the corner... But, its and its companion location down at the end of the lower area of concourse B (90 gates) are the only starbucks at DIA. If they had one in the main hub area of the terminal, it would be killer. I am an unashamed fan of starbucks, mainly because I can get a decent dark, bold unadulterated cup of coffee. I would have given it a higher score just for the coffee. This one seems to suffer from lots of turnover and not the same high quality service you typically experience at a starbucks. Several times when I have been to this one, the folks behind the counter seemed more interested in their cell phones than customers. read more

I was so desperate for familiar coffee(not the random brands or McDonalds coffee) something like Starbucks that I went from terminal A via tram to terminal B in search of said coffee.
