I keep giving this location a second chance or I guess third chance. The past three times I've gone have been bad experiences. 1)I ordered a drink with oat milk. I got home and took a sip. It tasted weird. I looked at the side sticker and it was whole milk. I can't drink whole milk so I had to drive back for a different drink. 2) I ordered an iced tea with strawberry added. Grande. Light ice. For some reason, I was given my drink in a venti cup. Not filled up- which makes sense since i didn't order a venti. However, the drink was incredibly watered down and did not taste like anything. 3) most recently, i went through the drive thru. The person taking orders was incredibly snippy and snarky. Not very helpful. I asked if they had passiontango tea available that day. I was met with a very snippy attitude that they always have it. I've gone sometimes and it's out which is why I was asking. Again, I ordered grande with light ice. I then asked which cake pops they had. I was told they have all of them. Given that the menu doesn't specify flavors, it's why I was asking. I ended up guessing based on the menu picture what the flavor might be. It doesn't take much to list flavors. When I go to Tim Hortons and ask about bagels in the drive thru, they'll tell me. My drink also tasted weirdly watered down. I will not be returning. read more

The coffee and food is as good as any Starbucks. I just don't feel like I should be waiting 25-40 minutes for coffee. I went opening weekend and got stuck in the drive thru for 40 minutes. The drive thru snakes through the tight parking lot and around the back of the building, so once you're in line there really is no way to get out. Even if you try to park and go in, there's a good chance you won't be able to leave your spot because the drive thru cars will be right behind you. I even watched a woman get out of her car to try and direct traffic for cars leaving spots. I waited a few weeks to see if it slowed down, and this time had to wait 25 minutes, again couldn't get out of the line once I was in it. Both times I went in the afternoon. I'll just run to the Starbucks in Target next time. read more

We went to the drive thru. Cassandra greeted us and politely wanted to let us know there were 10 people ahead of us and there would be a wait. It was clear they were short staffed and trying their hardest to provide good customer service. As we were deciding we really couldn't afford the time to wait, Cassandra suggested she could quickly get us a regular coffee and then provided it- on the house! This is a great starbucks location. There is a drive thru and plenty of parking. Easy enough to get in and out. The staff is always friendly and my drink has always been pretty consistent. I love this location. The staff are always kind and super friendly. I'm probably coming at an odd time but the drive thru wait is never excessive, which is great. I recently found out that you can add something onto an online order. A drive thru employee recently asked if I wanted to add anything to my app order. My usual Starbucks location has never asked if I wanted to add something on so I was quite surprised and happy about that. I love Starbucks as much as the next person, but this location is a bit odd. The service is always great - that's never been an issue. The workers are friendly and I've actually had lots of fun conversations with them. I've had many issues with the drive thru at this Starbucks, strictly because of the layout of the building it is located in and the parking lot. When they get very backed up, the line twists around the parking lot, making it impossible for people who are parked there to leave, and creating quite a bit of chaos. I avoid it here on the weekends for this reason. Additionally, they've been out of one of my favorite menu items (the bacon gouda sandwich, if you were wondering) quite a few times. I know it's no fault of the employees, but I'm always bummed when they don't have it because it's basically the reason I go there. Their shaken black tea lemonades are always spot-on, though, and for that I'll keep coming back! read more

I love Starbucks anytime, but especially in the fall when they come out with the pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin scones. Today, I got my usual pumpkin spice latte and was planning on getting a slice of lemon pound cake because I can't go there and not get it. When I got up to the menu screen I saw they had pumpkin scones and this apple pound cake that I can't remember exactly what they call it. I wanted to try the apple pound cake and I'm so glad I did! When they handed me the bag, it was warm. That just made my day! After a long day at work it was nice to go home and drink my pumpkin spice latte along with my warm apple pound cake. It was so delicious! I want to get it again but first I have to try the pumpkin scone. Can't wait to go back. This review is for every Starbucks in the country and beyond, even though this particular location is the one that I go to before I get back on the 400 headed southbound to the only region ON THE #$%^ING PLANET that doesn't have one (Olean/Southern Tier). [Technically, you can get Starbucks drinks at Cafe LaVerna on the St. Bonaventure Campus, but their hours are too erratic and based largely on college-student sleeping habits/vacation schedules AND you can get some at Holiday Valley in Ellicotville, but you have to struggle through the image-obsessed Buffalo and Southern Ontario ski crowd so determined to showcase their hip Northface outerwear.] I realize that contrived-esoteric, enlightened chain-despising, snob/sophisticate, pretentious Yelper protocol dictates that I'm supposed to hate this place. But I defy you to find me a better White Chocolate Mocha (if you can, I'm all ears)!!! My he-man friends mock me for drinking this stuff. I tell them that the White Chocolate Mocha is the coffee equivalent of getting a mixed drink occasionally as an alternative to beer. Sure, if I want a diner-style coffee, I prefer something hot, strong, and black (insert joke here). But sometimes a large (okay, Venti) Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha (usually later in the day as opposed to breakfast) hits the spot like a pinkie drink in a bar or at a restaurant might. Waited 20 minutes for a matcha green tea. The slowest service ever and it wasn't even busy.

Went there for the 1st time with the expectation that it may be somewhat pricey. Walking in there were no other customers around, 6 staff members were behind the counter. I purchased a Lg. (or Vente I think, what ever you call it in Starbucks land) Hot Chocolate and one Caramel Pecan sticky bun. Well it came to $7.00! Holy S$!T!! They gave me the sticky bun in a bag (not even on a plate), I had to go back up and ask for utensils There was nothing special about the sticky bun, actually is was small in size to other one I had at different establishments. Same with the Hot Chocolate, nothing that really blew me away, except for the prices!! I can honestly say Starbucks will NOT be getting me back as a repeat customer anytime soon. I would rather go to Tim Hortons or Dunkin and get so much for my money! read more

Went through the drive-through at this location and ordered an iced coffee with light cream. As soon as I pulled away I realize there was a ton of sugar in my drink. I parked the car went inside and put my drink on the counter. The young woman Inside said what's up? I said what I had ordered and her response was it comes with sugar. I said jokingly gross. She responded that most people like it that way. And gave me a new coffee. I spoke with a Starbucks regular customer who said this is not the case. I'm not sure what was more annoying getting the wrong drink or being told most people like it that way, without a smile without an apology. Don't have much to say about the drive thru but I will say that this location has far less seating than any other stores I've been to. Perhaps it's the odd configuration? Every person is outfitted with a headset to work the drive thru, if needed, and it seems strange to me anyway. I pretty much go to all the Starbucks in and around Buffalo (I travel around all week for work) and this one happens to be closest to my house. I always get a Venti Carmel iced coffee with 2% milk. One starbucks is another starbucks generally, this one is a nice size, typical chairs and set up. My down to his one is that the drinks are not as hot as most. This starbucks has a really strange layout - it is almost like a hallway with not a lot of room to move around. The drinks are standard for a starbucks and the staff is usually very friendly, but there just isn't much space to sit down and the building sits in a location where you almost always are in direct sunlight. I came in to just grab a coffee and a gift card before a long shift at work. Shawn took care of me at the counter and immediately brightened my day completely. He noticed I picked out the gift card with a dog on it, struck up a conversation about puppies and wished me a merry christmas. The staff is friendly but the drive through is always usually a long wait which is Annoying when your on your way to work. I give my self 10 minutes extra to grab coffee but sometimes it is a 15/20min wait depending on the line at the drive thru. Also my coffee is only made right 50% of the time unfortunately. read more

For a Starbucks, I am pretty happy with this place. I am not sure how someone isn't surprised by their prices, but that is neither here nor there to me. They do have them listed. Pick accordingly. I don't really go here that often, but it is close to where I live and sometimes, you just want a Frappuchino for dinner on a hot day. In any case, all of the staff here has always been friendly, courteous, and prompt. My order has never been wrong, is tasty, and hits the spot. They also have a quick drive-thru for those extra lazy times. I like that they do have all their specialty pastries on display so you can see what you are picking. It is not very big so don't go expecting to take a large group and sit at a table to kvetch. Seeing as they are open until 11:30 most nights, I might consider it in the summer to take advantage of their A/C with a book. read more

Need quality control. Went in at 8pm on Saturday night and my husband and I each wanted a cup of brewed coffee. After the 2 baristas finished their conversation, they decided to take our order. Husband asked for Sumatra and was told they would have to do a "pour over" because they had already stopped brewing it for the day. Instead, we both opted for a Pike Place. The coffee tasted old, and it was not very hot. I should have taken it back, but shame on me, I did not and just drank the sub-par coffee. I am just surprised that they stopped brewing when they were still open for 3 hours. Not impressed. read more

Encountered the unfriendliest barista ever at this location. I was on the phone taking an order for my friend (not waiting in line or holding anyone up, I was standing by the display for the cups) and she was staring at me like I was some kind of freak for doing that. Then when I got up to the counter to order I apologized, she glared at me and rolled her eyes. I stayed out of the way when I was on the phone, so I'm not sure how I was bothersome? Not sure her name, but she has brown hair and glasses and is on the shorter side. You're in customer service. At least learn how to smile! read more
