Avocado toast 5/5. Tasty. Not enough avocado (is there ever enough? :P) but overall delicious.

Okay, so if it wasn't for the atmosphere this place probably would've gotten a 4/5 or 5/5 from me (I personally really enjoyed my avocado toast) It's this cute corner cafe with a lot of potential but missed in a few points. When I enter a cafe, I want a relaxing ambience. I didn't feel that here. Again, the potential of this place is high! They have cute plants and even some other items they sell and with a bit of reorganization I think they can turn this into a bigger gem! I really really enjoyed my avocado toast and my chai latte. It was delicious and it was perfect for take out. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu. Another pro is that the owners seem extremely friendly and provide great service. It seems to be family owned restaurant which also gives it a special touch!

I stopped into this adorable little cafe on my way to Letchworh for breakfast and I'm really glad I did. This place was great, small and quaint with a nice amount of seating and that cozy coffee shop feel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on their everything bagel an iced coffee and blueberry muffin because I needed a baked good. The sandwich was sooo good and the bacon was just cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the ice coffee with a pump of caramel and a nice flavor throughout. I saved the best for last with the muffin which I ate later that day when resting during my hike. I'd go back for just the muffin! It was so tasty and flavorful I wish I ordered three more! This was a great little stop and one I'm sure to make again when I'm in the area!

Cute place with nice selection of coffee and coffee drinks with hearty sandwiches and breakfast offerings. Trish and her Mom are very friendly and accommodating. They also sell a small selection of homemade Buffalo and 716 themed items. Stop by and eat local and shop local!

This small coffee shop on the corner of lake and Como is cutest little place. It is decorated so uniquely with all sorts of pallet and wood items. They even sell some wood items. I am not a coffee drinker so I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Egg cheese and bacon. I wanted the bacon super crisp and it was not. They let me know ahead of time they may not be able to make it that crisp. However they came out with a plate full of perfect bacon when I was only a few bites in. The large fresh croissant was awesome. My wife loved her avocado toast and wouldn't stop talking about the place. The kids ran around and enjoy some things they had for them to do. Pricing was good, menu was small, and the customer service was Great. We got to chat with the owners and see how passionate they were about their dream. Loved supporting a small mom and pop shop place.

I live in Lancaster and wanted to try the Pallet cafe out as it looked cute and interesting from the pictures and positive reviews that it has been receiving. The staff/owners were very welcoming when we arrived and the inside has an eclectic vibe with the pallet constructed counters and assorted crafts for sale. While the coffee was good the food items fell short from what one would have expected. The pastry that I ordered wasn't as fresh as I would have expected and the avocado toast was ordinary at best. To summarize, I'd return for the coffee, but the menu offering needs recipe and ingredient adjustment.

What a sweet cafe! I was warmly greeted by the employees and I ordered the iced coffee (one size, $2.50). Upon taking my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised to learn their house coffee is vanilla buttercream flavored. The flavor is very subtle, but just enough to taste a little sweetness. The space is nicely renovated and has a cool high-top bar area with electrical outlets. I look forward to returning and trying their waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and assorted pastries. We are so glad to have you in Lancaster, Pallet Cafe!

Avocado toast with tomato, mozzarella and balsamic glaze was a huge thumbs up.

You won't be disappointed if you order the avocado toast. Coffee was delicious as well. I will certainly patronize this cafe again.

Super yummy, small and cozy, kind and neighborhood hang out.

Delicious food, cute comfortable atmosphere, wonderful customer service, neighborhood place

What a cute little Bakery. I arrived at about 11:30am on a Sunday, parked on the street (parking…read morelimited), there were only a couple people in line before me, a few couples sitting down, maybe about eight small tables for optional seating but the place is very small, cozy feel. There were only three cinnamon rolls left... I was going to buy all three but then I overheard the little girl behind me say she wanted one so I only ordered two. Try a cinnamon roll, they're so yummy, cost about $5.75, a 16oz house coffee was $3.75. I ordered the two cinnamon rolls, a piece of a carrot cake (WOW), slice of a pumpkin roll and a large chocolate chip cookie. All equally delicious in their own right! They were packaged to go in a large cake box for me, which I appreciate so nothing got squished during the ride back home. In total I spent $29.50 and didn't feel bad about it, I needed some sugar in my life that was worth eating, I try not to eat carbs anymore as a personal diet preference and I feel amazing but if you're going to eat them, let them be worth every bite so you don't regret it. Anyway, I love this spot. I did attempt to chat it up with the woman taking my order, she was very nice.

Gabrielle's used to be my favorite place in the Village of Lancaster. I supported them constantly…read more They have wonderful gluten free baked goods, as well as great breakfast sandwiches with a gluten free roll, if one so chooses. I will discuss three different run ins with Gabrielle's. First one - I went there in January to grab some sweets for a little crafting party I was hosting. I ordered both gluten free items and non gluten free items. The woman working, who was new, proceeds to ask me if she can put the non gf and the gf in one container. I said absolutely not. How can you not be trained on this, or not know not to do that. Why would I be ordering gf items, if I'm going to agree to put them in the same container. It defeats the purpose. Second time - Valentine's Day. My husband and I had a tradition of going to support Gabrielle's on Valentine's Day because they offered different gf items and a romantic atmosphere. This was our third time attending since living in the village. We arrived right when they opened, and they weren't opened yet, which was fine. When the owner unlocked the door, she wasn't very friendly. I let it slide, and continued to choose to visit Gabrielle's because I loved the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Third time - I stopped in on my way to an event to get a breakfast sandwich. It was about 10 minutes after they opened on a Saturday. It was quite busy there. There were roughly 2 or 3 tables occupied throughout my half hour stay.  Most notably there was a mom and daughter there. I'll get back to that in a minute. When I arrived, I was the only one at the counter. The same girl from the first not great encounter was making coffee behind the counter. That is fine. What wasn't fine, was that she didn't acknowledge me at all and I waited there awkwardly to put my order in for a good 5 minutes. Weird, that you wouldn't say, "Hi, it will just be a minute, as I'm working on another order,"  or something like that. The owner also came out of the kitchen during this time and took several Door Dash orders, but also didn't acknowledge me standing there. All I needed was a Hi, I'll be right with you. Something. I felt like a ghost. Fast forward, woman takes my order. It is for a gluten free breakfast sandwich. I sit down and wait. I wait for a solid half hour for my breakfast sandwich to be complete. During this time, the mother and daughter duo go up to the counter and say that they told the woman when they ordered that they needed to get everything by 9am, and it was 9am, and they still hadn't gotten their sandwiches yet. Why does it take a half hour to make 2 breakfast sandwiches?! They finally get their order and leave. The woman goes from the kitchen to the counter and is yelling to the owner, "If they wanted their food faster, they should have went to Tim Hortons." There was me and about 2 other tables present for that. I thought that statement was absolutely horrific and disgusting. Everyone who came through Gabrielle's and who goes to Gabriele's chooses to spend their money locally. To help a local family and support their business. To say that in front of customers, is abhorrent. I finally got my breakfast sandwich and left. I ruminated this for a while and decided against posting this review and emailing them directly about how this comment was unwarranted and not ok and the employee should be reprimanded. I received no reply back. This happened in February and it is now May. I have not received any acknowledgement regarding that my comment was received. I can only take it as the owner and employees don't care. Thus, I'm posting my review.   Not to mention that they claim to sell fresh bread on Saturdays, and there were a couple customers who arrived asking to purchase the fresh bread, and were told it was still rising and would be ready around 1 pm or so. What?! You would think they would be more in a hurry to get their bread out on a Saturday morning. That is when people want to eat fresh bread. It breaks my heart that I can't support this business anymore because the baked goods are so delicious, but I'm going to support other local businesses that value their customer base and are happy that the customers who walk through their doors want to support local.

I got the Horchata one (since that is also something I enjoy). The first sip was good, but the more I drank of it, the more it just tasted fake and flavored, and I did not finish it. Based on that one I wouldn't want to try others. The food menu is very limited. The pizza crust is very thin - more like a crackery flavor - and the pepperoni is only in a circle on the outside? So it's basically a cheese pizza until you get to the crust unless you want to reorganize the toppings yourself. Atmosphere varies - many times I have stopped by and it was standing-room only and very loud, and I left without making it up to the bar. This time I came early enough that I was able to get a seat. It feels very dark after coming in from outside. Staff is friendly. Decor is fun and bee-themed. Restrooms are easily accessible and all-gender. Overall it is a fun place to hang out but the food and drinks didn't do it for me.
