This cafe is in my own backyard. The village of Lancaster has made Some big changes in a good way!Lancaster coffee co has been here and we Finally Made it in our recent " coffee tour". Located right on central ave , there is street parking along the tree lined street. There is a counter where you order and a seating counter along the large picture window . The place sits about 30 max. It's bright and airy, but it was freezing the day we went - to the point where a few of us kept on our winter coats . The little cafe tables are marble like you'd see in a bistro, and they make an effort to keep them clean - accounting for their 100% health score! The menu has many drinks, hot and cold to choose from. Lattes, chai, boba, smoothies, and also offers some food- I didn't try it but the burger looked great. Husband and I both had lattes- made Quickly and brought to our table- the coffee was Smooth- could have been a bit hotter. He had a lemon muffin which had a nice surprise inside ofLemon curd. I've found myself coming here more and more lately. I bring a good book and submerse myself while drinking a Lancaster brew. I still stand by the fact that their lattes and anything you find on their specials list is always going to be served at "drinking temperature", I prefer death hot coffee though. I live for the Lox bagel. Its the best I've ever had in WNY. Literally half a block of cream cheese on that thing! I found the breakfast sandwiches on the croissant was super disappointing. Its not on a croissant, but rather a think, dense bun disguised as a croissant. I definitely won't get that again. Love that they have a whole case of macarons! read more

By far the best coffee in the area. I'm not sure why or what coffee they use but in my own personal opinion, it trumps every other coffee shop in the Buffalo area. They constantly have new flavors and they all taste really good. Typically I'm a black coffee person, but I enjoy all they have. Plus their like pastries are fresh and delicious. Stopped in with a friend I haven't seen in a while. I never been here before and I prob won't be back. I ordered my chai tea and what I thought looked good was the cinnamon bun. After paying the almost $11 for those two items I stood there a good 4 or 5 minutes waiting for the tea to be made. That was annoying. After finally getting my order, we went outside to enjoy the weather. That was nice. However, as I went to enjoy the cinnamon bun, it was just awful. It was drier than a popcorn fart. Even the frosting couldn't give it enough moisture to choke down. I asked my friend how her muffin was and she said same ... very dry. We both ended up tossing them in the trash. While I can say the tea was good, the dessert was not. Not in the very least. Total waste of money. Do not recommend unless you're just having tea. read more

My son wanted an iced coffee during the Lancaster Renaissance Street Faire so we stopped in. He ordered a nutella flavored iced coffee, but regretted not ordering a latte. We also had a couple of macarons. I was disappointed they were out of honey lavender, but tried a blackberry violette. He had dark chocolate. The macarons were perfectly made and tasted great. As I said in another review of a different place with macarons, anything floral can be tricky but the blackberry violette was perfectly balanced. We'll definitely be back for macarons, but my son will try a different drink. Service was friendly. The shop was cute and cozy. read more

Ordered food online on a Sunday. They had just switched over a menu and one sandwich was no longer on the menu. They said my phone number was incorrect and they couldn't call me to change the order. I arrived after 10 minutes to get my order and I waited over 50 minutes to NOT get my order. At 1:23pm, they came over to me and said that they could refund my order and they gave me a gift card. I was instructed that Sundays were the worst time to place an order online. Suggestion - don't open the online system for people to order on a Sunday if you can't handle it. I wish the fact that they could not complete my order was communicated to me before the 50 minute mark. It was a waste of time and resources. I ended up going to Picasso's where my food was ready under a half hour. I overheard that one man was waiting an hour for his takeout. Super annoyed and not a great way to run a business. read more

This place is so cute! I've been here twice, once for brunch and once just for drinks, and both times I had a good experience. During my most recent visit, I ordered a hot mint tea and my sister got the mango smoothie. For food, they have a case of baked goods (scones, macarons, etc) and also made-to-order items. There are tables inside and outside. However both times I've been it's been busy, so maybe have a backup plan in case you can't get a seat. It's a mix of 2-4 person tables, and I wouldn't come here with a group larger than that. read more

Love Lancaster Coffee Co! Service is always outstanding and the coffee is quality coffee. However (which I'm sad to have a however), I have had to give other coffee shops my business due to their hours :( in my opinion, they open late for a coffee shop. I can only get my coffee there on Saturdays (I work at 7AM throughout the week and on Sundays go to a 9AM church service in which they don't open until 9AM on Sundays). If the hours were different, I'd go nowhere else but due to opening later in the morning, I have to go elsewhere :( read more

My sister and I stopped by for a coffee after having lunch at another restaurant in Lancaster. We were both very pleasantly surprised by the selection of sugar free coffee syrups and asked for some suggestions for fat-free latte's. They created a vanilla/hazelnut and an almond/coconut latte and they were fantastic! Fresh, hot and delicious! Of course the service was more than accommodating but also quick and accurate. The dining area was clean with open tables in spite of a continuous influx of customers. This was our first time at the Lancaster Coffee Co. and definitely not our last. We've been trying to stop here to eat, but the line is always out the door and we've always been on a schedule before today. It was busy, but there was one table left so we were finally able to dine in. We initially weren't sure where to find the menu to order off of, until we realized there was a basket of menus on a table. The restaurant is small and always busy but has the bustling feel of the small town gathering place. It was comforting and fun. The food was delicious, so that is why it's always so packed. Delicious coffee, lots of variety in your choice of drink. I had the nutty Irishmen (hazelnut, chocolate latte). The flavoring wasn't over powering, my boyfriend had a Carmel macchiato and the flavoring on that wasn't over powering either. I'd say if you are looking for big flavors ask for an extra shot of flavor. The food was great, quick service. They also have an assortment of pastries and a lunch menu. The space is kind of small and crowded so be prepared to be close to people. The tables do have conversation games which was a cute touch! read more

Such a great coffee shop right in the heart of Village of Lancaster. Ample indoor and outdoor seating, the day we went there wasn't a soul inside. Fortunately they have quite a few tables outside in both the sun and shade. We went just for coffee at 2 PM on a weekday, note that they are open until 3 PM, but the kitchen closes at 2. They do have macarons and other treats that are available if you need something to go with your coffee. Very friendly staff, we were greeted immediately at the counter as well as when we walked in by an employee cleaning. One really neat thing is on the wall as you walk in you can purchase a cup of coffee for someone else to take later on. Basically you pay for a coffee and they give you a sleeve to write who you would like to take the free coffee (ie: police officer, nurse, etc). Such a neat way to give back!! We both went with iced coffees, my husbands wasn't anything fancy, I went with a chocolate cherry iced coffee which was tasty and lovely to look at! We will definitely make it back to this place, the food looks great also and it's 25 minutes from home but the small town feel made it seem like a different world from North Buffalo. read more

I came here for the first time today, while on my way home from a massage in Clarence. This place is small but great! It has a good ambiance with cute decor on the walls. They have ample seating with a spot to wait for your order. The staff were pleasant, kind, and made my food well. I ordered a Lancaster whey protein shake and a breakfast sandwich. Both were great. The protein shake had banana, peanut butter, chocolate, and 30 grams of protein. The breakfast sandwich was great. It had an egg and cheese on a Costanzo's roll. I had choice of which meat o wanted on it. I chose sausage. It really hit the spot. I ordered an iced coffee for my boyfriend. The downside is you have to add cream and sugar yourself. Their cream, sugar, stir sticks, and napkins are in the hallway on your way out. I was really happy with my first visit here. I'll definitely return soon, (Also, sorry for the cruddy pictures. Second trip back to this hidden gem and treated ourselves to the breakfast Sammie's. The "Dick Young" was delicious and an outstanding choice! Canadian bacon, fried egg,pepper jack cheese, spinach, onion and tomato all covered hollandaise sauce on a fresh everything bagel! WOW! Accompanied by an incredibly brewed and crafted latte (made with sugar free syrup) of course! Can't say enough about the friendly and helpful staff! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a tasty treat! When I tell you this was the best breakfast sandwich that I have had, I am not being dramatic by any means. The bagel was definitely the star but the meat, egg, cheese proportion to the bagel was also perfect. The bagel had a good crunch to the outside but was soft in the inside that it was easy to bite in to. I normally go with a plain bagel but something told me to get the everything and it was not over powering with flavor but gave it just a little something extra to take it to top notch. I also got the caramel frappe and that was also one of the best that I have had but I couldn't finish it because it was huge and very rich and I had already scarfed down a huge breakfast sandwich hehe :) The place itself is super cute and they have window seating so you can look out at people watch and would be beautiful in the winter watching the snow fall. The menu of drinks is huge , they have a lot of different baked goods and decent options for breakfast and lunch . I also want to mention the drinks and food were up super quick! Super cute coffee shop in the village of Lancaster which is a Hallmark picture perfect town. I just stopped in to grab a coffee and check out the shop. Really busy even during the day on a Friday. I ordered a yummy I believe it was called a Grinch and it was a chocolate mint frappuccino type drink, it was super yummy and even served with an Oreo. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, which was huge and good, but not the best I've had. Hope to go back some time. read more

Treated my dad to a coffee date this Valentine's Day at this little cafe/coffee shop that's been on my radar. Cute but small place, you grab a menu when you first walk in, place your order and pay at the counter, they will give you a number and bring it out to you when it's ready. We both ordered breakfast sandwiches, my dad likes his coffee black where I like the fancy lattes. (this time I opted for the creme brûlée latte, iced) Everything came out within 10 minutes (even though they were pretty busy) and those sandwiches were made with TLC! I loved the window seat we were able to grab, nice view of the village. As an added treat, I ordered the stuffed banana pepper soup for takeout. This soup was decadent and delicious, nice and creamy with just the right amount of heat. I would come back for more of that soup in a heartbeat.
