I am a huge sucker for a hot chi tea latte with almond milk and there is nothiing worse than dreaming about the frothy warm goodness to only take a sip and it was a fail. I find that many of the Starbucks are not consistant wtih the drinks. I am pretty sure these drinks are made like how I cook... little of this... little of that. Who needs a measuring cup? This particular Starbucks nails my chi tea every.single.time,...delish! Why i'm not giving a 5 star? Guys we need to work on those Flat Whites... I came here for my birthday earlier this month and expected to get a birthday drink for free. I was sadly informed that you have to have the Starbucks app for six months in order to qualify for a free birthday drink. Being new Starbucks user since five months ago I didn't qualify. I ordered the berry Matcha with no ice this time. It was not good, it definitely needed a little bit of ice. I'll know that for next time. This location the service was not that nice either. If I were anywhere else I'm sure I would've been able to get a free drink but here the attitude of the workers was not pleasant. The ambience of the inside has changed significantly they removed a lot of the tables out of the space so you can't really work in there. It's very grab and go now. read more

Pros- service is friendly and nice and drinks are always great. Cons- line is usually incredibly long. My son and I stopped in once and didn't preorder, after 15 minutes I had to ask them if they could expedite our order or we'd have to cancel it as we'd be late to where we were headed. So highly recommend pre ordering or be prepared to wait because this location is very busy. read more

Drive thru with good window and order taker staff. Drinks were well made and plain coffee orders were also very good. Breakfast sandwiches were also tasty and presented nicely. In my driveway I opened the Starbucks app to place an order for pick up. The app tells me that I am 9mikes away and that the travel time would be 15 minutes. It stated are you sure you want to order these now as they will only take 4-6 minute to prepare. Nice feature, so I waited until I was 3 miles away to place the order. We arrive to pick up the order and they were not ready. They started making them when I arrived. I can understand if the place was busy but there wasn't a soul in the place. We ordered the Horchata frappe's very disappointed with the product. If it weren't for me being on a tight schedule, I would have returned them. read more

It's always clean when I'm there, and the workers are super friendly. Specifically, shoutout to the worker there this evening 2/9/22 who walked over and asked if I was okay after an older guy started an unprompted, rambling conversation. He told me that if I were ever uncomfortable, to talk to him, and I was very appreciative of that offer and extra effort. read more

The people who work here are so so nice but I've been coming here for one year & have never waited less than 10 minutes in the drive thru. I think they need some organization training or more staff. Quick service here. Nice(ish) staff - they don't go out of their way to make conversation. Get in, get coffee, get out - that's what it feels like; depending on who you are that can be a good or bad thing. The coffee is just the right temperature so you can ACTUALLY drink it right away instead of either waiting for it to cool down or risking a burnt tongue(Blowing in that tiny drink hole doesn't work either BTW - Steam Burned Lips Suck!). On the inside it's pretty standard - 2 seater tables a couch, lounge chairs and coffee table set up... you know "Starbucksy". Bathrooms are clean and stocked, no complaints. Food is typical Starbucks - Nothin special. I could think of worse places to overpay for coffee. read more

I love Starbucks. It is where I get my coffee every day. They have great service, great drinks, and great spaces to do work or homework. Even kids love it! I go to the one in Dyer and they are great. Well done Dyer Starbucks well done. I know that losing a customer or two or even a couple hundred will never affect your business. I can guarantee that myself and my coworker will never return after your dishonesty. I was completely unaware that my coworker was in front of me and decided to pay for my drink. Little does she know that my drink was already paid for because I had ordered on the app ahead of time. The least you could have done was tell her that my drink was already paid for yet you decided to charge her for what I was having anyways despite the fact you had already been paid for my drink. It's not just the money but it's the principle. I can only gather that sends my drink was paid for on my app prior to me arriving that one of your dishonest workers decided to pocket my friends money. Pathetic! read more

The staff is super friendly but the wait times can be horrendous. A great location as long as you don't hit their heavy traffic hours. I enjoy that they are also very fast to correct a mistake they make. So if you enjoy a great staff I highly recommend this location just be prepared for a wait during busy times. read more

I come here once in awhile and it's usually hit or miss, but yesterday was especially terrible. I was meeting a friend there after work, and the place was mostly empty. There was only one person in line ahead of me, who was over closer to the side where they make your drink. She was giving instructions and chatting it up all about her favorite drink etc. The person who rings people up was very interested in this conversation as well, so much so, that she paid me zero attention as I stood in front of her for a good 2 or 3 minutes. So I finally asked her, can I order? And she said, in just a minute...and went back to their conversation. So, since my friend was already sitting at the table right in front of the counter, I went to wait and speak to her for a moment, but the girl never did say...ok, I'm ready now... If my friend didnt already have her drink, we would've definitely gone somewhere else. So a few minutes later, I approached the counter again, and she acted like I just walked in the door, I guess she does this all the time. I finally got my coffee which was supposed to be blonde but was regular. By that time I was so frustrated I just threw it in the trash. No more Dyer Starbucks for me. read more

I usually stop at the Saint John Starbucks on my way to work, but it's not my favorite location. The staff isn't super friendly and my drink gets made wrong from time to time. This morning, I picked up my usual, but didn't take a sip until I reached Route 30 and only then did I check the label and realize it was the wrong drink. I happened to be passing this location in Dyer (on a very long commute to Chicago every day) and decided to run through their drive-through to see if they would be able to fix it. It sounds completely ridiculous to ask, but at $6 a latte and a very tight schedule, I really didn't want to just waste the money. No questions asked, they remade my drink and weren't even slightly upset or off-put by my asking. They even apologized for the other location's mistake. My mornings are always a stress-fest, so even though this might sound small, it had a huge impact on my day. It only takes a second to make someone's day, and they definitely made mine. Not the friendliest staff in recent days! And for a place as small as this one, I've NEVER encountered a Starbucks so COLD in terms of temperature -- and it doesn't matter what time of year, either. It features just TWO comfortable seats -- and only ONE is REMOTELY close to a outlet so one can plug in their lap top, and that the one that sets right by the window where the draft is INSANELY cold! The mocha's and latte's are up to par in terms of quality, but I'll only patronize this place when I'm on the go -- especially with a free reward to redeem! read more
