As Starbucks in the south go, this one is above average. Clean store. Friendly, conscientious baristas. Fast service. Food and drinks up to Starbucks standards. The Ellijay Starbucks is like an oasis in the desert - casual and comfortable with good coffee, in the middle of no-where. This has been a favorite coffee shop for years and it's the only coffee shop between Tennessee and North Atlanta. This location can get busy because of that. It's such a great location that Dunkin opened a small location across the highway. So, some locals go to Dunkin, but I go to Starbucks - Ellijay because their folks are quick, accurate and friendly and have better coffee. For me, these folks set the bar, and it is up to every other Starbucks to meet the bar that Ellijay sets. I love the Starbucks menu of espresso, Frappuccino's, lattes and gluten free snacks. My favorite order is an iced Grande (or Vente) Decaf Americana. This location also hosted my son and his writing group for years - and some good books came out of that group. Students and other locals hang out here during the work day as they work "from home" or "from the office". The drive thru is also quick and easy. They can get a little backed up, but overall a drive thru customer gets the same level of service as the inside customer. Over the years I have heard about Starbuck's employee benefits and have known several baristas who came to work there solely to support their young families. I appreciate this Starbucks location's support for their local community - the local groups they allow to meet here, the events they post on their board, and the families they support. read more

This location is very hit or miss. After a recent trip there I noticed dried up dark brown/ green tiny balls clumped together on the plastic cups that resembled possible rodent or bug droppings. This was very unsettling and I don't think I'll be returning to this location. read more

I ordered via the app and went during the morning rush. The coffees were delicious!!! My local Starbucks doesn't have a drive thru window so having this convenience was much appreciated!!! This is my favorite location by far!!! We visit every chance we get as we live a few towns away. My husband had the Trenta Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and I had the Trenta Iced Coffee with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam and extra caramel drizzle. I like my coffee strong and sweet, my husband prefers strong and not so sweet. The perfect drinks for each of us! read more

Decent small Starbucks just off the highway, take a right after you turn into the Walmart entrance. Service was good but it can get busy as it's the only coffee joint around on the way down to Atlanta. Seating is limited to but if your just picking it up to go it's no big deal. Depending on the location, Starbucks' skinny vanilla lattes can taste great or wimpy. This location is one that knows how to make them well. They have the usual Starbucks menu and provide the usual Starbucks experience - wifi, casual vibe - but this one seems to be a little bit smaller than most. It sits in a small row of retail establishments that front the major road with a cleared field behind and a larger shopping center one block further north. It's a bit weirdly situated - you have to drive past it to get to a light in order to be able to access the businesses. It's easy to blow past the entrance unless you're super vigilant. Service has always been what I expect from Starbucks and it's a favorite stop for us when we're headed to the mountains. read more

It's good to have a Starbucks in our small town but service is varied. My order is consistently wrong and especially when it comes to my child. I was recently told I couldn't do unsweetened lemonade and maybe I misunderstood fifty other Starbucks when I order the same thing but it was an employee who suggested I do unsweetened lemonade. So go figure. Sometimes I think there are just too many people making drink orders. read more

The best Starbucks I have ever been too. This Starbucks was literally in the middle of nowhere which caught me completely by surprise. Yet, their lattes did not lack in quality. In fact I made two stops here in one day because their coffee was that good. This location has a drive-thru option which is convenient. Also it is never to packed. They always seem to have seats available. Their coffee and lattes are delicious and their service was spot on. I mean who does not like Starbucks? Recently I have noticed that I might have a sudden addiction to Starbucks. I always crave their delicious muffins and sweet flavorful coffee. There quality always sends me to Euphoria. read more

Most Starbucks are pretty similar in quality and performance, which is good! But this one was pleasantly great! The interior is similar to what you'd expect, while being a comfortable and cozy environment. The young lady who served us eagerly greeted us and was very pleasant and helpful! I was using my birthday reward and she even suggested making my beverage a Venti since it was complimentary. They were very quick and accurate and my beverage was finished in about two minutes. Everyone was pleasant and at the time it wasn't very busy, but the store had a pleasant atmosphere. One of the best Starbuck's I've visited, if not the best! read more

I did an online order for a protein box and my favorite coffee. When I arrived they told me there were no boxes left. I asked why it did not show sold out online. I didn't really get an explanation, but they gave me a card for a free coffee next time! They are always very friendly at this Starbucks. Worst Starbucks i have ever been to in my life! Waited nearly 30 minutes in drive thru for REFRESHERS which are already mixed and all you have to do is pour it into a cup. Then the old man at the window started giving us lip about why it was taking so long and then preceded to only fill our refresher half full.
