It really takes baristas who genuinely care to make drinks exactly the way you request--and a poorly made drink can absolutely put a damper on your morning. Unfortunately, not many baristas take the time to account for customer preferences, which is frustrating when you're paying $6-$7 per drink. That's never been an issue at this Starbucks location. No matter how busy they are, they consistently get my order right. That level of care makes tipping feel well deserved. Good Starbucks locations are surprisingly hard to come by in many parts of Philadelphia. Never had a problem here! The drinks are always on point and the staff is always friendly. I like that there's a drive through option so I can just cruise through on my way to work or when I'm out and about and just don't feel up to getting out of the car. Stopped by this Starbucks since I was in the area and decided I would get a Caramel Brulee Latte. I placed the order as a mobile order and quickly made my way over to it. It is a little weird getting to this Starbucks. There isn't a direct way from the road, but you instead have to make a turn at the light into the shopping plaza area, and then make a right into a parking lot and drive for a little until you pass the Taco Bell and run into the Starbucks. Definitely felt a little off navigating to it, but I guess the town has it that way to prevent cars from Starbucks flooding the road. Just seems odd there isn't a more direct and clear road to the Starbucks. Regardless, I went into Starbucks after a few minutes of placing my mobile order seeing my Caramel Brulee Latte ready for me. Quickly took it and went on my way. It tasted like a good o' sugary caramel coffee. What more can you ask? The atmosphere in the store seemed more on the moodier side and so does the exterior, but maybe I am more accustomed to the brighter modern and open looks the stores have. However I am just there for a quick in and out, so maybe this is a bigger deal for store squatters. Overall, a good quick and easy Starbucks experience. read more

We stopped by this location to pick up some coffee on the way to a friend's house, having placed a mobile order. This was our first time in this new location (we had been to the location within the strip mall, before they moved to their own building), so it took a little bit of work to find exactly where it was. Once we found it and parked in the next parking lot next door, we walked in and saw all our drinks ready. Upon a quick review, my wife noticed that one of the items we ordered was the wrong size and pointed it out. They were great about making the correct size and then letting us have that extra drink as well. IMO, positive response to a mistake is a good sign, and sometimes can make a better experience than no mistake in the first place. read more

I ordered 2 coffees on Uber eats and selected a variety of sweeteners I might use for the coffees when they got to my house. They were listed as packets on Uber eats. I selected ... 4 raw sugars 4 stevias 4 honeys 4 sugars Instead of delivering the packets on the side, they put the above into each coffee making them inedible. I called the store to verify and they said they did this and that some people like their coffee very sweet. They are inedible by anyone.... Manager said they would reimburse me when I came to store and get other coffee. I can't get there now that is why I ordered ubereats delivery. I am here on my second visit to Starbucks I received a gift card for $25 dollars. Bought a Stanley brand thermos. It is defective. First use. Half hour with hot coffee it was hot on the outside. Coffee barely warm. Clerk put the wrong receipt in the bag. No other receipt but the cleared card transaction. Clerks and manager refuse to issue credit or exchange product EVEN THOUGH clerk remembers me. Won't go to this place again. I'm not asking for cash. Just equal exchange. Why tf when I go to use your bathroom the bottom of the soap dispenser bottle drops everywhere on my leg pants. There's piss over the seat. I go to ask the worker why the dispenser dropped & why the bathroom looks like that and she goes "what do you want me to do about it?" And then ignores me. I'm so mad right now my pant are wet. Yesterday I stopped in to get a green tea lemonade. Not only did I leave drink-less about 15 minutes later, I experienced some of the most awful customer service ever. (And ironically Mont-co just rated them the best coffee shop only in July. They may want to rethink that!) When I placed my order, I was the only person in line. The girl must have been new or something since she didn't inform the barista about my drink order. About 5 people came and went with their drinks when I went back to the girl. Her response: "Ooh, what did you order?" Then she told the barista to make it when she got around to it. No, she should have made it then since I'd already been waiting. Then another 5 minutes went by and still no drink. At this point I asked for a refund, and neither the girl nor the manager showed any remorse for the situation, didn't even try to make it right. Ironically enough, there was a girl named Rebecca there who was out front taking out the trash. I left in such a bad mood that she asked what was wrong and if there was any thing she could do to fix it. Only one employee in the whole store cared and she was the one taking out the trash? They may need to rethink their staffing roles. I used to love Starbucks, but this experience was so horrible I will NEVER go here again. read more

Drink quality is uniform to any other Starbucks I've been to. The people working, however, had zero communication, be it with me, or the other workers. I think the only words exchanged were my order and my total. They also were slow and disorganized - there was some Asian kid behind the counter with a coat and backpack on making drinks. He was talking to some friends on the other side of the counter, but where everyone else was wearing the black shirt, apron, and hat, it looked like he works there (he did know what he was doing) and he stopped by on an off day with his friends to make drinks for them and a few customers. Really weird. Parking lot looks cramped, but to be perfectly honest, it isn't nearly as ridiculous as the Starbucks in Southington, CT, so I can't even hold that against them in comparison! This is a full Starbucks location, with food, the usual Starbucks drink menu, and a good selection of packaged coffee beans and Starbucks merch. The baristas are nice and have always gotten my orders right. During their peak times (when people are heading to or from work), the line can build up a little and you might have to wait a few minutes for your drink if it's not brewed coffee or tea. They try to push the orders out quickly, though. Setting it apart from some other Starbucks, this location is roomy. It has large tables available, has a few comfy leather chairs, and has a number of pairs of electrical outlets (I believe five), making it a good choice for when you want to sit down and read or work on a laptop, or when you're looking to sit with friends. The wifi network is pretty speedy, too. The store can get a little crowded during peak times, but, in my many visits there, I've always found a seating arrangement that fit my needs. read more

I must say this is a really nice brand new store but drinks really should be made correctly. I got a venti pink drink with light ice, light strawberry base, extra coconut milk with no strawberries. I use to work for starbucks so I do remember how drinks are made correctly. this is what I received, yes the general idea is there but strawberry açaí base does not have seeds in it, so why are there seeds in my drink especially when i left out the strawberries, also the drink being this color is clearly wrong and no extra coconut milk and very heavy base of some sort but not the correct one. I have ordered from this location 4 times and each time i'm disappointed. and what's with the new lids they suck. don't recommend. go to bluebell instead. read more

I will agree with one other reviewer who mentioned the uncleanliness of the bathrooms. The one I used smelled awful, with papers scattered around on the floor and an emergency light dangling precariously from its wires. Typical S'Bucks. Staff is friendly and quick. I actually felt bad for the barista who was stuck making all of the orders. She actually apologized to me and it wasn't even her fault. UPDATE: I've taken my rating down to four stars. The drinks are still great, but recently, this location has been plagued with very long wait times. In addition, some maintenance is needed. Many of the electric outlets don't hold in the plug when you charge your phone or laptop, the chairs along the windows are creaky and uncomfortable, and just the last time I went, my order was mistaken. I am an avid starbucks drinker. Not a day goes by that i DO NOT drink starbucks at least twice. The East Norriton location is the closest to my house but i go out of my way to go to the Plymouth Meeting location because the East Norriton location is constantly disappointing. Yet again today, My husband comes home with our coffee and it is wrong. The flavor is missing as are my additions that I ordered every day on my app. This is not only the LEAST friendly starbucks I have ever been to, but I have never seen a manager even present out in the front and when your coffee is wrong you always get the eye roll. It is poorly managed and the staff never stay. In Plymouth Meeting I know the manager by first name and see her almost everyday because she is out supporting her team! Coffee cannot cost this much and continually be wrong at the east norriton location. It really needs an overhaul! read more

Simple - my go to for iced coffee and the occasional chai latte. The germantown pike location is what keeps me going to starbucks simply due to their very nice young ladies that work there. This is my favorite Starbucks by far. I go out of my way to get my caffeine fix here. Staff is super friendly, patient and they make sure to "make the moment right" for all customers (don't be afraid to ask for recommendations/remake of a drink). It can get crowded at times, and for some reason they will assign one of the less-experienced/slower baristas during those times. I feel bad for them because they're clearly struggling, and are flustered when people tell them their drink wasn't made correctly. I personally just let it go, but if I was in a rush, or really picky that day, I could see getting annoyed. After all, the drinks are pricey at $4+. Quite possibly the slowest Starbucks, at least of the ones I've been too. On average around 7-730am on weekday mornings there is a continuous line of 4-5 customers waiting. There are three employees working. It takes around 10 minutes to receive your drink. I wish the service was better. Horrible Service. Unorganized. Slow. No sense of urgency whatsoever. I counted 4 people behind the counter moving slower than molasses. I've been to A LOT of Starbucks coffee houses, and this one is definitely the worst I've ever experienced. I waited approximately 20 minutes after ordering my beverage and STILL they didn't have it ready. I had to ask for a refund because I had to leave. They seemed to be upset that I asked for a refund.. like I was the problem?? Anyway, I've been to this location a few times and always left unhappy either because of the service and/or poorly made drinks. The reason I had continued to go is because the location is convenient, but I can't sacrifice my time anymore for lousy service. Get it together people! read more
