While there are plenty of other Starbucks kiosks on campus, this is "a legit" Starbucks and comes with a fair amount of space - both inside, outside, and in the lobby of the College Plaza building. The staff are much friendlier than those working the cafe within Sobey's next door, but the lines can get long and overall the service seems to be somewhat mediocre. Like I said though, with the warm weather, I've found myself here twice in the past week. Not my preferred location, but it does help my day to be a little bit sweeter :)

They also have their own coffee (beans) which leads me to believe their coffee must be good. There baked goods selection was a muffin or homemade granola bar. I tried the granola bar. It was soft, chewy, and nice. Simple yet filling. A nice homemade tasting snack.

Every time that I have gone, even if there's a line up of cars, the line seems to move quite efficiently through the drive through. They always get my drink right, are cheery, and are a great start to the morning. I have been in to the actual store a couple of times. I had a similar experience. There's seating and plugins. Overall this is a standard Starbucks and I would totally recommend it!

Due to the location, this particular Starbucks has more natural light than most I've been to in Edmonton. So I usually tend to enjoy sitting by the big windows. I also appreciate that there's decent amount of parking and handicap spots. As it is a bigger layout than most, there's two separate doors into the space. So if you're sitting at the larger table, you might notice more of a draft (especially in our chilly Alberta winters!) Lots of snacks and bites to eat plus drinks just like other locations. However, I find this one tends to give sample drinks where I rarely experience that anywhere else in Edmonton. Today was pink lemonade and strawberry frap made with coconut milk. Lemonade was lovely and not too tart. Definitely one to order if you were looking for a drink to replenish the electrolytes. We skipped the second sample as we loved our drinks so much already and didn't want to be disappointed without having any banana in it. Today I was with my aunt and we tried strawberry frap (gotta keep the valentine theme!) and believe me, say yes to having the banana added. Omg tastiness... the thickness... sweet but not over powering and the banana made it similar consistency to a milkshake, so choosing venti was the perfect size for that drink. I selected mine with full milk and my aunt wanted coconut milk. We were both very happy with our choices and definitely will order that again. We also split bacon egg bites (two per order). They're decent but I have to say I still prefer the sandwich over the egg bites. As I needed a bit more to eat, I grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. I was very pleased the cookie was chewy and soft (I've had cookies at other locations and cannot say the same thing). As always, a decent experience at Starbucks. I just wished that some of their chairs had a bit more padding to them and should have remembered to bring my chair pillow with me.

My favourite Starbucks location, I've been coming here since the days of University and crazy exam schedules. The baristas are friendly, the drinks are consistent, there is lots of parking, and the bathrooms are always clean. A word to the wise, avoid the frappucino rush. What is the frapp rush you ask? The 3:15ish time on the weekdays when junior and senior high students alike congregate en mass from the transit station and all order frappucinos. If you are here during frapp rush, be prepared to wait and rediscover your inner 15 year old self!

Once you order, again, be prepared to wait. There is only ever 1 barista putting together all the drinks that the huge line-up of people just ordered. This is also the only Starbucks where I've ever had a drink made completely wrong. My half sweet PSL came with NO syrup (or, I'm pretty sure, coffee) in it. It was literally a cup of steamed milk. By the time I noticed I was already back at work and had to turn around to get them to remake it (and return late from my lunch). To her credit, the barista was extremely busy and did re-make my drink right away... but there was no apology or anything. Anyways. If you need your java and only Starbucks will do, then by all means - hit it up. But if you're in a hurry, there are several other coffee shops in the vincinity that can get you a cuppa and get you moving quickly.

Our kid ordered a hot chocolate and there was cute latte art included. He loved his drink. Customer service was friendly and efficient. I would come back here when I am in town. We ended buying a bag of beans and some specialty coffee cups to take home.
