Decent space in this Starbucks for visiting friends or for working while you enjoy a coffee. Lots of smaller tables and raised bar height tables plus one super long family/community table. Due to the location, this particular Starbucks has more natural light than most I've been to in Edmonton. So I usually tend to enjoy sitting by the big windows. I also appreciate that there's decent amount of parking and handicap spots. As it is a bigger layout than most, there's two separate doors into the space. So if you're sitting at the larger table, you might notice more of a draft (especially in our chilly Alberta winters!) Lots of snacks and bites to eat plus drinks just like other locations. However, I find this one tends to give sample drinks where I rarely experience that anywhere else in Edmonton. Today was pink lemonade and strawberry frap made with coconut milk. Lemonade was lovely and not too tart. Definitely one to order if you were looking for a drink to replenish the electrolytes. We skipped the second sample as we loved our drinks so much already and didn't want to be disappointed without having any banana in it. Today I was with my aunt and we tried strawberry frap (gotta keep the valentine theme!) and believe me, say yes to having the banana added. Omg tastiness... the thickness... sweet but not over powering and the banana made it similar consistency to a milkshake, so choosing venti was the perfect size for that drink. I selected mine with full milk and my aunt wanted coconut milk. We were both very happy with our choices and definitely will order that again. We also split bacon egg bites (two per order). They're decent but I have to say I still prefer the sandwich over the egg bites. As I needed a bit more to eat, I grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. I was very pleased the cookie was chewy and soft (I've had cookies at other locations and cannot say the same thing). As always, a decent experience at Starbucks. I just wished that some of their chairs had a bit more padding to them and should have remembered to bring my chair pillow with me. read more

This location is large, well-lit and well-staffed. It has an automatic door, a drive through and ample parking. I was quite pleased with the speed of service when I visited and purchased a sandwich and beverage. I would certainly consider sitting and relaxing here with a beverage or food item for some time as the space seemed comfortable. The staff I interacted with seemed personable and kind. This is my first time in this location and I can't wait to come back again. It has kind of a rustic atmosphere and I love it. The space is really well illuminated, enough tables for everyone. You can come in from the parking lot using two different doors. I ordered a soy green tea latte - smooth and creamy ground green tea, lightly sweetened and served with steamed soy milk and my friend a caramel macciato - Freshly steamed milk with vanilla-flavored syrup, marked with espresso and topped with caramel drizzle. This is a really good location for a coffee shop. The seating area is large and very comfortable with free wifi. There is also a large table with 10 chairs around it and I often see people come in for informal meetings. The staff is always very pleasant - true rarity. A great place to hang out!!! read more

I have been waiting several years for a Starbucks to open in this location. Right on the corner of Terrace Road and 101 Avenue. So I waited a while after it finally did to post my review. Now first off, I do love Starbucks, but I am not one of those customers who are in there every day, or necessarily even every week. And I am not happy with every Starbucks I go to, especially drive thrus. As I am one of those people who never get their coffee the way the recipe is made. That is one of the reasons I like Starbucks, It is never a problem to ge my drink customized. I find that most of their coffee drinks are too sweet for my taste so usually get them half sweet, and often have to customize the milk due to dietary concerns. And due to chronic migraines & doctors orders have to have decalf now :( I have never had a problem with any of these customizations when I have gone in to a Starbucks, however, drive thrus can be another story. Speaking of customizations, their Grande Hot Chocolates have; 4 pumps mocha & 1 pump vanilla. Try it with 2 pumps mocha and 2 pumps vanilla, it's good! Everyone I have suggested try it agrees. This Starbucks has been open for a few months now and I am very happy to say that each time I have been in, the service has been great. I have been in at different times of day (but not early morning yet). They have been not so busy to very busy when I have been there and the staff have always been pleasant. This is something to say as many of them are new to Starbucks, Every time I have gone in I was happy to see that they are getting busier and busier as this means (I hope) they will be around for a good while to come. I was disappointed that they have extremely limited equipment for sale as I was looking for a burr grinder and they did not have any. But this was probably due to the fact that they are so new and have not established any retail sales yet. read more

This is one of my favourite Starbucks! Every time I go they have really pleasant people working, even when I awkwardly lurk around trying to decide what drink to get they are very friendly. One time I ordered a Red Velvet Frappe but had no idea what was even in it and they baristas were so friendly! They guessed at what would be in it, made it for me, then told me if it tasted gross they would make me something else. (It tasted pretty good to me.) It's really nice having the service being so friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and they've got a huge parking space. Unfortunately there's no drive thru, so you'll have to go on a jaunt into the store to get your coffee on. read more

Great ambience, with a communal family-style table in the middle of the store. Might come back with the kids just for that. You keep it pretty clean too (didn't have a chance to see the washroom though). Props to you as you were a busy "third space" for about 1.5 hours of our 2 hour stay. Found the parking to be subpar. Potential for a BAD accident in the cramped space. $4.50 for a medium hot chocolate, really? The taste was fine though... can't knock you there. Make it $2.75 and we'll give you an extra star. Service could use improvement; we had to wait for a while before our order was taken even though there was no one else in line. I used to LOVE this Starbucks! I went there a couple of weeks back. It was a Saturday afternoon, so I understand that it was busy. The drive thru has completely ruined this location! So many people go to chat and visit and the parking lot used to be very accessible. Now, it is a huge mess! On top of that, there were approx 5 or 6 baristas working and there were 3 completely dedicated to the drive thru standing around doin nothing while there was a huge line of people waiting to be served at the till. Lastly, my drink was very watered down. In the future, I will go to the Starbucks in the Safeway across the street! read more

This is the closest Starbucks to my work, and so I've come here many times. The service is always pretty good or great! There's plenty of parking, decent seating, and lots of big windows to let the sunlight in! One of the better Starbucks options in Edmonton. No outdoor seating though! read more

The baristas have messed up my orders a lot of times. From using cow milk instead of a non-dairy milk and not following the instructions when asking for only 1 pump of something. I end up just throwing my drink away because I cannot have too much sugar due to medical reasons. Same goes for cow milk. I've complained a few times but I feel like they're not doing anything. read more

As previous posts have mentioned, this really is one of the best community Starbucks in Edmonton. The staff here are very friendly, plenty of seating, including eight comfy chairs and a large community table that can seat 12 people. And the new design of the parking lot makes it easier for parking. read more
