Stopped by this one and the drive thru was wrapped around the building so I jumped out to go inside. When I went in everyone was standing around talking except for the poor girl on the other end who was stocking the plastic utensils. No one acknowledged that we even walked in even though several of them looked at us multiple times. There were 7 people standing around, not working, and 1 person with her back to us actually working. We decided to leave and suddenly on of the workers said "oh, would you like to order something?" The reason their drive thru was so busy was because no one was working, it was like walking into the break room. The inside of the store was not busy. There were only about 2 or 3 people sitting around on their computers. This store seemed disorganized and uninviting. The chaotic area stemmed from the lack of work being done. I still tried to give the benefit of the doubt and yet my order was messed up. My coffee tasted like it has been sitting and was burnt. Overall a bad experience here. read more

My mom had ordered food online and they messed it up by not adding one of the sandwiches so I went back and asked for it and they were being nice, until the lady who makes the sandwiches came and asked me if I was picking up a grub hub order or if I ordered it on grub hub, I then proceeded to tell her my mom ordered it online and then gave me a dirty look and hesitated(bc the bag said my moms name on it) to give me the bag, but in the end she did give it to me. read more

I have to give this location some praise for awesome service recovery! I placed a mobile pick up order at 7 o'clock this morning. As we pulled in at 7:10, I got a notification that my order was ready. My daughter went in to quickly grab her items but was gone for several minutes. When I went in to check on her, she was sipping on her drink, but her egg bites were missing. We let the girl at the counter know (as she was juggling dozens of other orders - the place was packed). We waited for another 10 minutes, and I was losing my patience (it was almost 7:30 at this point). But when she brought out our order, she apologized for the inconvenience and explained that they were down an oven. She also gave us a gift card for our next visit and a complementary cake pop. She totally diffused the situation and left me feeling grateful. She did a great job, and I wish I would've gotten her name to give her the callout she deserves! read more

Ordered dairy free drink due to allergy. They put whipped cream on the drink and then wiped it off with the lid and then rinsed the lid and put it on the drink. When they handed it to me with cream still on the side I told them there was cream on it. The barista literally said "it's okay, I wiped it off." I told her it was for a dairy allergy so she said they would remake the drink. The remade drink also contained dairy. Not coming back to this place. read more

Possibly one of the friendliest overall staffs of any Starbuck's I've visited! They make you feel like family if you are a regular and know many people by name. They are always smiling; no matter how busy. Manager is a friendly fellow named Aaron and is always ready to listen to any comments or questions. They've never gotten an order wrong. Lastly, I love the utilitarian vibe here! Note: I didn't take off any stars for parking but like the other Edwardsville location, it can be tricky leaving. Remember that you can't get out by going around to the driver-thru entrance. You can get out by going back to entrance or through the hotel parking lot. read more

Edwardsville opened another Starbucks next to the high school. Smart choice for a location!!. Went inside for an evening jolt of caffeine. Hubby wanted dessert; real slim pickings on that. He opted for the banana bread ("It's good" he said). No wait for service; lots of customers inside all on their laptops. Possibly college crowd since SIU-E is nearby too. Had to ask for creamer since there wasn't any but that was no biggie. We sat outside and there was plenty of seating outside as well as in. Think I prefer this location to the older one. read more

I came to this locating around 5:40 pm on 4/25 when the drinks were souposse to be half off on any drink. I was help by a young woman with glasses, short haircut, and ear piercings. I ordered my drink and was helped with utter disrespec, this employed refrained from looking me in the eye, rolled their eyes and was just flat out rude. Also was helped with a very lazy and rude tone. i did not realize it at the time but I did end up payinh full price and later watched other customers get the discount. this interaction ruined my good mood, as I was very upset about the behavior and way I was treated. I have been to this location many times before and was helped with very good mannered employees, surprised and disappointed to see this establishment having such poor service. do better Starbucks read more

I don't know if the employees feel this way, but this starbucks seems very organized! Orders come out fast, the drive thru line moves quickly, it's pretty easy to get in and out of parking if youre picking up a mobile order inside or if you just came out from dining in, and the employees have always been helpful and kind read more

Terrible location!! I go yesterday after opening and order the Pike Place, their most popular coffee. I'm told they don't have any brewed. Okay, I get another coffee that's strong. I go today at 4:58 am, they open at 5:00 am. I expect to wait at the door for 2 minutes as SB usually opens the doors within seconds of the opening time. A woman comes to the door and tells me that they open at 5:00 but they don't have any coffee brewed, so it will be about 5 more minutes. She had no intention of letting me in. I commented that perhaps they should have started the coffee 3 minutes earlier, a time that will allow them to sell at the opening time. I leave and go to a SB 5 minutes away. The SB that I went to had the Pike Place ready, at 5:04 am!!! This SB is 1 block from my hotel. I will not be back. It's a new SB, so I suggest that someone in management tell them what "open at 5:00" truly means. It doesn't mean that the lights are on and the door is open, it means open and ready to do business. Obviously I'm cranky if I don't get my coffee first thing in the morning. BTW, I have never left a negative review for SB, as I love SB coffee. read more

I just drove through the new edwardsville location! They are always so friendly and attentive so i continue to go back. Today i ordered 14 cake pops for the staff at my job and they went above and beyond to hook me up. My coworkers were ecstatic about the surprise and I will continue to go to this location only. This location is convenient and closer to the college in town as well as avoiding the busy shopping centers where the other Starbucks is located. So far every encounter with the staff has been a good one. The tables have charging stations on them, only wish they had more tables but a Starbucks can only be so spacious. read more

This is my favorite starbucks location BY FAR. The cafe is always clean, I always get my drink in a timely manner, and it's always correct. Even if they mess something up, they're always more than happy to remake the drink. The staff here is wonderful as well. Everyone is very friendly and always try to spark conversation. Emily and Savannah specifically are the nicest baristas I have come in contact with at ANY Starbucks. I live in Collinsville and always make the drive to this location because it's just THAT GOOD! read more

They have never messed up an order, but they need to update their hours!!! They are not open until 11 pm on Sundays... I like the coffee, but the line of cars going all the way around the store is a deterrent for going in. You get boxed in when you park and it can be difficult to get out, depending on whether or not drive thru patrons are so busy looking at their phones to see you or not. I won't go back.
