I've heard of 7 Brew quite a bit from my friends and family in the south / in other states. The basis of what I've heard about 7 Brew was: tons of flavors combinations, coffee drive through, opportunity to get coffee, milkshakes, or even energy drinks. When I heard that there was a 7 Brew in the area through a friend, I knew I had to make the trip. I love a good coffee, and I love unique flavor combinations. From my first visit I'm a firm believer that avid 7 Brew lovers don't love coffee, they love sugary drinks and milkshakes. The flavors that 7 Brew offers are truly insane, and it's really difficult to know what they even offer unless you did your research (and they only just created an app recently, so I have no idea how people learned about this prior!) Pros: Amazing flavor combinations and truly have something for everyone. Coffee for adults, milkshakes and sodas for kids. If you're in a rush, they serve you quick and efficiently. Staff are super kind and patient with you! Add one and customizations are all part of the price, which no other coffee shop does - so cool! Add unlimited toppings and flavors all for the same cost, it's like you're a mad scientist here! Alternative milk options are also no additional cost. Cons: If you were ever confused with names at Starbucks, don't ever come to 7 Brew. Their menu consists of names and terms that are super confusing, it almost feels as if staff are speaking a different language. Research prior to coming here is key. Most of their coffee drinks come with breve, which is half and half -- if you actually like to taste your coffee, make sure to swap this for something else. Even though we swapped our breve for whole milk + oat milk, our beverages were super light and didn't taste like coffee one bit. I've since learned from a friend that we should have asked for extra shots of coffee, so there's a hack for you. The flavors are intense, and everything they serve is insanely sweet, so unless you love drinking your daily caloric intake in one beverage I would definitely recommend asking them to limit the amount of flavor syrups they use. They did however taste great, it just tasted like flavored milk instead. This drive through situation was crazy, with 3 lanes and no signage directing you anywhere - but the staff here truly knows what they're doing and makes the process as efficient as possible. Definitely do your research before visiting, because I'm sure that the experience would be way better if I had!

The last time I went, early December, I had an excellent Pumpkin Latte with an extra shot of espresso and a chocolate croissant. The croissant, which I expected to be a little stale, was actually fresh, crispy and full of chocolate deliciousness. The coffee shop doesn't have a ton of seating, but there's always a friendly atmosphere here. As with any coffee shop in New Jersey, prices can make you roll your eyes, but they are no worse than anywhere else. We'll continue to take the walk...it's worth it.

But my experience at this shop was so abysmal that I had to write a bad review. The good: this was located directly next to my gate and close to a kids play area, so convenience was great. The bad: ordered two lattes, one with oat milk because of my lactose intolerance. The barista didn't know which was which and refused to tell me which was which. The taste was bad on both and it wasn't worth diarrhea roulette so we threw both out. Ordered two bagels, was given one. When asked if I could have both bagels, was told "No!." Ok the airport is stressful enough, I'll just take one and divide it between my family of 4, instead of argue. Opened the single bagel on my flight and spread the cream cheese. Bit into the bagel. It was so hard it felt like it had been toasted a week ago, let to sit out, and toasted again. Absolutely rock solid. Never had a bagel so hard, outside of a bagel chip, which 3/4 of the thickness of the bagel resembled in texture, if it was a stale bagel chip. Absolutely inedible to me, and was also rejected by a very hungry 4 year old.

It was definitely a great pick me up because it was strong coffee but the spices added a very holiday/fall feel. Different than what I've tried but still good if you like strong coffee. The mall wasn't crowded so we were able to sit down and enjoy ourselves. Good service. They have some pastries too but I didn't try any this time around.
