Just visited 787 Coffee which recently opened (they've only been open two weeks!), and overall it was a great experience. We tried the Coquito and Tres Leches iced coffees--both were delicious and really unique flavor-wise. Definitely a treat for sweet coffee lovers! The vibe inside is great--welcoming, relaxed, and perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. It's a little on the pricier side, but you can tell the ingredients and care are high-quality. One suggestion: it would be super helpful if the menu was easier to read or displayed more clearly. I had to ask the barista, who was super friendly and handed me a QR code to check out the menu. A posted menu or printed version would be great for first-timers. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Amazing all around! Tried the coquito latte with the rum infused beans and it did not disappoint. The cinnamon and coconut pieces really sold it for me. I also grabbed their banana walnut loaf slice (not pictured because I housed it) warmed up and while I do wish the olive oil was a little more present it paired perfectly with the latte. Everything was fairly priced considering the quality and portion sizes. Service was excellent and they really made sure I understood and enjoyed all of my options. Will be returning whenever I'm in Westfield.

Didn't realize a new coffee shop opened in downtown and was excited to try it out. I love craft coffees and can always appreciate a shop that leans into different beans and roasts vs relying on fun flavors as a selling point. The inside of this shop was very welcoming, as were the employees - so kind and courteous! Unfortunately the coffee wasn't for me. I had an upset stomach after and the cold brew just was strong but in a non-flavorful way. Plus the drinks were very expensive, not something I would be able to regularly afford. Fun packaging for the cold coffees and this location might be up some people's alley but it just wasn't for me.

Cutest little spot with unique roasts and flavor profiles. Bright, fun ambiance. Excellent service from the friendly barista.

Tried out 787 Coffee in Westfield and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered the Coquito iced coffee and the tres leches iced coffee both were solid picks, especially if you like bold, smooth flavors with a bit of a twist. The Coquito had a nice coconut-cinnamon vibe without being too sweet. The service was okay nothing to complain about, but not overly warm or enthusiastic either. The place itself was quiet, which was a nice surprise for a coffee shop in a busy area. It's a good spot if you're looking to get some work done or just want a low-key break. Would definitely stop by again to try more of their drinks.

Amazing, finally great coffee in Westfield! You choose your own blend of the day, usually three delectable choices (can't go wrong). This is the only local cafe that roasts their own beans and the taste is the proof. Don't forget to check out the merch, it's kinda fun and a tad irreverent. Staff will welcome you here! Bad Bunny be damn!

All coffee lovers reunite for a wonderful coffee experience. The vibes of this place is off the charts, has a great ambience, all in a cozy setting. The staff is very friendly, smiling and welcome you when you come in. The menu has a lot of different coffee items, and some pastries as well. They serve the iced drinks in these cool pouches and the coffee was actually really good and tasty. I had an iced mocha, with rum flavor and it was the perfect amount of chocolate rum and coffee to kickstart my day. There are a lot of different coffee choices that I need to try, can't wait to try them all!

    Coquito Latte (Puerto Rico's Classic)

787 Coffee...no need to dial 787 (area code for Puerto Rico) when you can have it here in Westfield, New Jersey. I grew up in a dominant Puerto Rican neighborhood in the LES of Manhattan. This is my first time trying their coffee. The cashier told me that they grow and harvest their own java beans. Here is what we ordered: - Mazapan Latte (sweet & nutty: does contain peanuts) - Coquito Latte (Puerto Rico's Classic. It is coconut based) - Horchata Latte (Rice & Cinnamon goodness) I will say I was disappointed that these lattes did not come in the cute pouches (they ran out of them). It would have made for a cute photo op. Nonetheless, we absolutely loved every sip of our drinks. Huge shout out to all three of the baristas we interacted with. They took the time to give us a warm welcome, say goodbye and thanked us for dropping by. Outstanding service. As per their logo: for all you "Caffeinated Humans" bookmark this place for your next coffee adventure. Fun Fact: After having your coffee here go explore The Charles Addams (creator of Addams Family) Historic Trail in this gorgeous and quaint town. My son and I were in awe of the homes that were mostly Victorian and Craftsman style. They also hold a fun and spooky Addamsfest every October. If you paid attention to Season 2 of Wednesday, Lurch is driving the family car with New Jersey license plates.

We found our favourite coffee shop now. Once we walked in, we felt welcomed. Place was vibrant and clean. Display of different sauces to flavour their three kinds of coffee beans decorated their shelves. Our barista, Eva was truly skilled because we got three different flavours and she made them with ease and swiftness. Each coffee had its own distinct character and each one was impressive. Iced ones were in disposable pouch & paper straws. That was unique. They also had empanadas and cookies, that soon I will try. Thank you for expanding nearby because hard working people from New Jersey deserve you, too.

When I came in I was greeted by Angelina. It's small and pretty inside. They explained about the different beans and asked which one I wanted used for my Coquito latte. I chose the rum one because who has Coquito without rum. They didn't have options for snacks. They had cookies , quesitos and empanadas. My coffee had some coconut bits in it. It was a decent coffee but I don't think it was spectacular. It was just decent. I'll be back to try some of the other beans. The whiskey one smelled the strongest.

I am excited that a new coffee shop took the place of the previous one that was there. I'm so tired of . Th e shop is small but has ample seating. The girls behind the counter were very nice and informative. I was welcomed with "Is this your first time here?" She also told me a little history of the company and about the beans that they use. I opted for an iced Dulce de leche latte with a sort of rum bean. I forget exactly what it was called. It was $3 extra but it was my first time there so I splurged. LOL. My drink was quite tasty and I typically don't do coffee but I do like a flavored latte once in awhile. I'll definitely be back.

My favorite coffee shop in NYC has finally come to New Jersey! 787 offers fantastic beverages from ethically sourced beans via family farms in Puerto Rico! As someone who eats gluten free, 787 always has a gluten free treat or two on hand as well. My favorite drink is the horchata latte with the rum infused coffee beans (whiskey infused coffee beans are also an option). Though you can never go wrong with their signature coquito latte with or without infused coffee beans. 787 offers a number of chairs & tables, some outlets, a bathroom and is open until 7 PM- making it an ideal and pleasant place to do work. The staff at every 787 location is always so knowledgeable and ready to make recommendations based on your interests- this location certainly is no exception. If you are looking for a coffee shop that checks all the boxes, this is the place!

Stumbled on this coffee shop when I was walking around Westfield. It can be hard to stand out as a coffee shop with so many competitors around but they are showing they are here to stay! When I got to Westfield I saw some people walking around with these drink bags and I kept wondering where they got them. To my surprise, I walked into the place I didn't know I was seeking. The staff were super friendly and were happy to explain their origin and what sets them apart from the rest. They explained that all of their beans are sourced from Puerto Rico and the differences between the different blends. I asked for their recommendation which is how I ended up getting the coquito iced latte with the rum infused espresso beans. The coffee was so rich and smooth. You can taste all the notes in the bean which give it such a robust flavor. One of the best coffees I've had in a while. Not to mention the joy of receiving it in this fun bag. Honestly, the drink bag is genius! Everyone was asking about where I got my coffee from and when I let friends and family try it, they were sold. They have other drinks and some food items which I'm eager to go back and try. The store front itself is a little small but it makes it feel cozy and intimate. They offer Wi-Fi and have a printer available which is very thoughtful. Also, they have a ton of gorgeous plants which add to the vibe of the place. Overall I'm excited to make this place my new go-to coffee spot in Westfield.

I come here only on Sunday mornings and often, when there is usually no line. For two years I have been doing this , I have received ZERO eye contact, no warmth, no engagement from this shift's crew--until today. That's why it mattered when one Asian barista this morning (who wasn't the one to take my order) warmly looked at me, smiled, and said something kind. It came right after her coworker placed my drink down, mumbled my name, and they turned their back on me when I thanked them -- but weren't doing anything else! Same energy when they took my order minutes earlier even when I was the only person in line. Like I owe them a favor for being at their counter! I've watched them and their colleagues treat me this way consistently. Mind you, I either only order a latte, a matcha, or a pastry. The worst part is that this treatment feels selective. I''ve seen this same crew be friendly, laugh, and engage with other customers--but from what I've seen for 2 years is that it seems only a certain type of walk-in gets this reception. It suck's to be flatly received and then notice the person behind me get a smile and a conversation, even if it's obvious that they're not a regular here ... at least not on Sundays. :) Again, thank you to that barista who broke the pattern for me today because I finally felt seen. I added a 3rd star out of gratitude. :) If you've found this crew non-selectively friendly, I'd genuinely like to know what day you come--because my Sunday morning experience has been consistently selective.
