They were so knowledgeable and gave us opinions on what we should get, which I really appreciated! I othered a Horchata Latte with oatmilk and choose the rum blend to add and it was so delicious! My work proximity associates were influenced in having me purchase coffee from here because of TikTok. I ordered 3 Coquito lattes. the lady said something, like pick 1 or the 3 and I unassuming picked the rum flavor. I thought it was the type of coffee bean but it's was a $3 add on like a topping. it made each latte jump to $11 a drink. the lady were nice enough to put my hot latte in my yeti mug so I could drink it on my drive to work. The barista was super friendly and explained that their beans are Costa Rican and whiskey roasted. I was intrigued and took her suggestion to try the Coquito Latte. She kindly made this less sweet and more macro friendly. I enjoyed the drink and the unique packaging, a ziplock like pouche. Thing is: the package is cute but hard to handle. Think, hard to put into a car's cupholder. A note on the drink: there were bits of something, possibility coconut and cinnamon. It didn't deter me but wasn't greatly appreciated. They only had one size and it was $11! So I'm not sure I'd be back too soon. As for inside, the interior is very cute. Dark sofas, and vibrantly painted walls give a tropical feel. Amazing all around! Tried the coquito latte with the rum infused beans and it did not disappoint. The cinnamon and coconut pieces really sold it for me. I also grabbed their banana walnut loaf slice (not pictured because I housed it) warmed up and while I do wish the olive oil was a little more present it paired perfectly with the latte. Everything was fairly priced considering the quality and portion sizes. Service was excellent and they really made sure I understood and enjoyed all of my options. This is my first time trying their coffee. The cashier told me that they grow and harvest their own java beans. Here is what we ordered: - Mazapan Latte (sweet & nutty: does contain peanuts) - Coquito Latte (Puerto Rico's Classic. It is coconut based) - Horchata Latte (Rice & Cinnamon goodness) I will say I was disappointed that these lattes did not come in the cute pouches (they ran out of them). It would have made for a cute photo op. Nonetheless, we absolutely loved every sip of our drinks. Huge shout out to all three of the baristas we interacted with. We found our favourite coffee shop now. Once we walked in, we felt welcomed. Place was vibrant and clean. Display of different sauces to flavour their three kinds of coffee beans decorated their shelves. I chose the rum one because who has Coquito without rum. They didn't have options for snacks. They had cookies , quesitos and empanadas. My coffee had some coconut bits in it. I am excited that a new coffee shop took the place of the previous one that was there. I'm so tired of . Th e shop is small but has ample seating. The girls behind the counter were very nice and informative. I was welcomed with "Is this your first time here?" She also told me a little history of the company and about the beans that they use. I opted for an iced Dulce de leche latte with a sort of rum bean. I forget exactly what it was called. It was $3 extra but it was my first time there so I splurged. LOL. I'm Puerto Rican, so I was genuinely excited to try their coffee. I ordered two large coffees and a pastry, and the total came out to $31. I immediately felt overcharged but went along with it. When the drinks were ready, I noticed the cup size, what they consider a "large" would be a small almost anywhere else in the world. If you're going to charge premium prices, the customer should at least feel like they're receiving value for what they're paying. To make matters worse, the coffee was lukewarm. We ended up leaving, throwing the drinks away, and heading to our usual coffee spot. The pricing is extremely high and, in my opinion, not worth it. As a Puerto Rican, I want to support local businesses, but this one feels like it's taking advantage, almost as if we're paying first‑class ticket prices just for the beans to arrive in the U.S. On a positive note, the flavor was good, just not great. When I got to Westfield I saw some people walking around with these drink bags and I kept wondering where they got them. To my surprise, I walked into the place I didn't know I was seeking. The staff were super friendly and were happy to explain their origin and what sets them apart from the rest. They explained that all of their beans are sourced from Puerto Rico and the differences between the different blends. I asked for their recommendation which is how I ended up getting the coquito iced latte with the rum infused espresso beans. The coffee was so rich and smooth. You can taste all the notes in the bean which give it such a robust flavor. One of the best coffees I've had in a while. Not to mention the joy of receiving it in this fun bag. Honestly, the drink bag is genius! Everyone was asking about where I got my coffee from and when I let friends and family try it, they were sold. They have other drinks and some food items which I'm eager to go back and try. The store front itself is a little small but it makes it feel cozy and intimate. They offer Wi-Fi and have a printer available which is very thoughtful. Also, they have a ton of gorgeous plants which add to the vibe of the place. I recently stumbled upon the Westfield location. Today I walked in to get the rum infused cold brew, which costs $10. Eventhough that is a very high price for coffee and above average for this area, I had no issues paying it. When presented with the milk selection I was told there is only whole and oat milk. There was no skim, low fat or any other type of milk. I didn't really want whole or oat milk, but since there were no other options I agreed to go with the oat milk because the lady at the counter said the flavor of the oatmilk was similar to the flavor of the cold brew so I agreed to the oatmilk even though this was not my first or second choice of milk. I was rung up and saw that this brought me to $11. I was confused because nowhere did it say that there was an extra charge for oatmilk and the lady did not say there was going to be an extra charge before ringing me up. She then told me that it was an extra $1 for oat milk. If you are already charging $10 for coffee and have only 2 options for milk, you do not charge an extra $1 for one of those options, particularly if this is not noted anywhere. I know it's only $1, but it's more so the principle. I am sure many people won't think Twice, but I was very put off by this. read more
