Let me just say the staff here is always so sweet. I'm never served by the same person but they are all really great. I usually order an iced beverage rangining from coffees, to matchas to iced teas. Can't go wrong in my opinion with any beverage from here.

Great place for coffee, tea and pastries. Great selection of coffee, premium and select teas, hot chocolates. They also have "Fall in a cup" for the season! Tried the pomegranate green tea - love the combination of fruityness and refreshingness. Couple tables and chairs inside for sit downs. The service could be a bit slow though.

Had a delicious chai latte and shared a brownie with a friend. Everything was delicious and the people who work there are fantastic. We stopped here after visiting the Picturing Black Girlhood exhibition up in Express Newark. I'm glad we did, but they were closing at 4 and we had to take our drinks to go. I'd definitely visit again.

Sweetwaters is a real sweet and relaxing place for coffee, tea and tasty treats. So far, I've had their Wonderful Winter Blossom Tea and Super Yummy Chocolate Joynut Bars. The bars have chocolate chips, butterscotch and other delicious ingredients! The Winter blossom tea has a nice mixture of their specialty teas. Customer service is helpful and very efficient. The place is clean. Restrooms are available. Seating is available inside and inside the Hahne's building.

A lot of dessert options along with plenty of coffee options! Friendly staff with plenty of coffee knowledge

Great service and nice interior that serves the apartment and businesses nearby but my iced cold brew was weak. The only thing that gave it flavor was the vanilla syrup pump. At $4.50 and weak lackluster brew, I would not try this place out willfully again.

My new favorite cafe in Newark. Open past 8pm (6 - 9pm on weekdays and 7-8pm on weekend) The baristas are super friendly and kind. They will let you sample. The vibe is chill and relaxed and mildly evlecti.

It was packed with 4 kinds of meats. Some reviewers mentioned that it was too much meat, but that shouldn't be a reason to dock a star. My partner enjoyed his steak sandwich as well which had cheese whiz. Super local spot. Has maybe three tables. Employees were nice. Place is across from a church so easy to get food after service! Would def come again for value, flavor, and size!

Before Jersey Mike's. Before Blimpie…read more Before Firehouse Subs. Before Subway. Before Jimmy John's. Before (okay, you get the idea)... there was Big Stash's. A (local) institution. Long before the likes of Subs Galore (a few blocks away) tried to rock the boat, Stash's was the only game in town (for a whole lotta years). I grew up two blocks away and I'm positive I put the original owner's kids through college with all the money I dropped here. After hearing new owners decided to keep the lights on I had to make an effort to get over here to show my support. Walking into the new Stash's... the place received a 'glow-up' (I'm entirely too old to be trying to use hip slang!) and loved that they decided to keep the framed Scott Baio picture (one of these days I'll share the 'deets' on that!). Surprised to see a few new menu additions (coffee?! Taylor ham?! Manhattan Special Espresso Soda?!) as well as being open more days and longer hours. For the sake of history I had to try their 'Belly Buster' and the kid handed me the sub in a box. ("Huh?! This is a weird gimmick.") But when I got home to open the box I understood 'why' - no wax paper and standard paper bag would've been able to hold this beast together. Just a ridiculous amount of (Thumann's) cold cuts and toppings that the (decent) bread tried in vain to keep together. "Bang for your buck" - you won't find a better deal. But for me it was TOO much and there's definitely an 'art' and a 'balance' to the ratio of meat to toppings to bread and Stash's is a bit TOO generous for my liking. One odd tidbit that brought me back to my youth and the old Stash's... that "stinky sub smell" that you just can't get off of your hands (and body) - no matter how many times you wash your hands, brush your teeth, take a shower, you name it. (Sadly it's Pavlovian for me to want/need a Clinton's iced tea when devouring a Stash's sub but that's no longer an option.) I hope they have another fifty years of prosperity down there in West Hudson!

I immediately stopped on the Vietnamese restaurant with almost a perfect rating at 4.9 stars and 500+ reviews. I'm equally excited, and skeptical. NY/NJ residents aren't the easiest to win over. I walked maybe 6 min to the restaurant. It was a nice sized store front with a well lit dining room, and self and full service kiosk. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I chose to do self serve. Even with that, I still felt very welcomed and engaged once I placed my order. All the items were displayed, and looked fresh. The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.

Now. the manager at Jersey Mike's was very empathetic and offered more reputable companies like Door Dash and Uber Eats, (a subjective view). She said she never had any issues with either of them but rarely does Grub Hub pick up food from them. I know JM's food is great but I'm not trying to feed you alls third party thieves. There should be a level of accountability and suspend them from doing business with you all. Granted, I was fully refunded by Grub Hub, which I appreciate but I'll never use their services here or back home in Nawlin's. That being said, more JM's should come to New Orleans so that I can enjoy a break from Cajun and Creole eating lol.
