This used to be the best Starbucks in Evansville. But as of late the service has went downhill drastically. Sometimes they are closed before 9pm, even tho 9 is the normal business hours. The voice mail doesn't seem to be working. And my drinks seem to be increasing in price each time I order the same exact drink. Last night I ordered a trenta refresher with light ice and extra fruit. And I was given a Grande with as much ice as the cup could possibly hold. I didn't have time to get it remade, I planned on calling about it and I just get a generic voicemail. Their is nothing good that I can say about this place or any of them for that matter. Nothing special about thier coffee or pastries and way overpriced. Two words: unicorn frappuccino. Nice marketing move on limiting availability of this trippy 70s-colored drink to create a frenzy among teenage girls, Starbucks. I mean you wouldn't knowingly place your valued baristas in harms way of unadulterated eye rolls, a bevy of over glossed lips smacking in disgust, accompanied with a litany of "OMGs!" and "What is happening right nows?!" as they heatedly stomp their Ugg boots or Croc sandals (depending on which part of the country you're in currently) at the audacity of rainbow-laden caffeine denial. We were rejected last night in our attempts to purchase one of your limited Pink Floyd-ish-looking drinks; after leaving Starbuck's drive-thru, you made me suffer through the teenage perturbation and anticipated social rejection she would face because she was "the ONLY one" in her "whole school" that didn't get to drink and mark the occasion through a unicorn frappe selfie on Instagram. How do you bastards sleep at night knowing she will "never ever never" get one?! Way to crush young teenage social images and confidence, you heartless pagans. I don't know what ever I shall do to remedy this; it's not like I can just get a bunch of food coloring from the grocery and whip up a rainbow clad milkshake in the blender at home. Now I've not had a bad experience at any Starbucks, but this one has always stood out to me for their service. Always friendly and helpful, this morning really took things up a notch. I ordered a sweet tea, drank it, then got a refill. Sitting down with my appointment I noticed the tea was unsweet. Getting unsweet tea instead of sweet tea being one of the most unhurtful negative things I can imagine for myself, I just decided to sip it and go on with my meeting. The barista that helped me at the register took the time to come over to me and ask if it tasted ok. She said she realized that it wasn't sweetened and wanted to make it right. Starbucks is amazing. Especially, this particular location. If you hit them during things you are going to have to wait. But the wait just makes the drink taste that much better. Staff is awesome and always polite even under duress. read more

I arrived at the north park location at 8:03am with a line of about 7 cars ahead of me...no big deal. After around 20 minutes of waiting in line, I finally make it up to the monitor to order. I order a venti iced chai tea latte with LIGHT ice and oat milk (I'm lactose intolerant). The lady taking my order was very nice, and asked me to pull around. After another 15 minute wait, I finally make it up to the window to pay. Keep in mind... the cars in front of me WERE NOT moving. I'm first given my free banana nut loaf (used stars on the app), followed by my drink. The barista at the window proceeds to tell me that "we kinda ran out of oat milk" then hands me a venti drink with over half ice and no oat milk in it. I paid $6.41 for a venti sized drink that had over half the cup full of ice, and I never received oat milk that I paid an extra $0.70 for. Nor was I asked if I would like to substitute for another type of milk (almond). The baristas working could have at least added more chai tea if my requested milk isn't available, or could have told me that when I ordered at the monitor 15 minutes before. This location has always been my least favorite, and today really was the last straw. Do NOT go to this location unless you'd like to wait 30+ min and waste money on a drink that ISN'T what you ordered! I will not be returning to this location again. I was late to an event down the road that started at 8:30. I ensured that I left the house early enough to make time for starbucks, and a 30+ min wait for a drive thru is ridiculous. I do understand that places are short staffed because of Covid, but there were multiple workers inside that could have created a much more efficient process for the drive thru. Starbucks has always been effective in having a fast drive thru process. The west and east side locations are much better. read more

Coffee was delicious as normal, however, attitude of person doing the drive-thru on 3/18/18 before noon could have been more professional. I was visiting from out of state. I ordered a quad grande flat white. When I went to pay it was $.50 more than I normally pay. I politely asked about it and she said that the grande only had 2 shots normally and I had 2 extra shots. I asked If that had changed because I thought there were 3 shots in a grande flat white normally. She said to hold on a minute. She went to ask her manager and I could see her thru the window rolling her eyes and clearly frustrated with me. The manager came to the window and clarified it was correct (3 shots normally and charged for 1 extra shot). What was different was the sales tax. In Ohio, we don't pay sales tax. In Indiana, apparently you do. I didn't know that but was treated as a problem for asking a question. Disappointed. read more
