The staff is always nice here--efficient and friendly but the bathroom is always a pit. I travel this way about once a month. Last time the toilet was stopped up in the ladies room and full of you know what. This time there were used up rolls of toilet paper strewn around but at least the toilet was working. Someone needs to check this they have employees of both sexes--it's disgusting that a place that serves food has a bathroom that's on the level of the average gas station. read more

I have to say, i'm a little surprised that this Starbucks has gotten so many low stars. This Starbucks is a block away from my job so it is definitely the one I frequent most, and between this one and the one by my house it is my favorite. The baristas are beyond friendly, helpful and always make my drink to perfection. When they wish me a good day, I really believe they mean it lol! Only downside is the parking lot is tiny and there is a lot of traffic in and out of here at all times, especially since it is the last Starbucks before tourists are heading down to the keys. read more

Making a stop at this pivotal intersection located in Florida City might seem like the right thing to do before the long trek ahead. I'm a Starbucks girl and not many places can soothe that specific craving. Sometimes an iced double macchiato is exactly what you need to keep going and this place serves it up perfectly. While there's plenty of coffee spots in the area, this one is reliable and consistent in which times others can't prove to be the same. I personally have stopped here multiple times and the service has always been friendly. When it's packed be prepared to wait your turn as they can get easily overwhelmed with an unexpected rush at times. The trip down south is full of mom and pop spots with endless American coffee but not much espresso. The trip up north is pure highway unless you're taking US1. I stopped in to one of my favorite happy places, a Starbucks in Florida City before heading down to the Florida Keys. I ordered a strawberry lemonade refresher and a Ham and Swiss breakfast sandwich. This made me very happy. There is not a lot of parking space. This Starbucks was extremely crowded, but the service was fast and friendly. My sandwich was hot and fresh and my drink was fantastic. As usual the restaurant was clean and organized. They accept cash, credit and debit cards. There is a lot of seating inside or outside if you want to read a good book or just lounge around with some friends or family. This particular Starbucks is located off of US-1 and SW 34th Street. There are a lot of surrounding restaurants in the area. Also there is a Walgreens located next door, which is good if you want to pick some supplies or sunscreen for a day of sun and fun. If you are in need of gas a Shell gas station is right across the street from Starbucks. I think visiting Starbucks for breakfast is a great way to kickoff your weekend. read more

I have to say, I am going to miss this Starbucks. I am moving on Friday and this Starbucks never lets me down. They are always friendly, know the three different things I order, and always joke with me about which one it will be that day. My order is always quick, and when it is raining and I don't go inside, they know my car! I only go 2-3 times a week so I am impressed that they take the time to get to know the customers that they don't see daily. As for the quality of the coffee, I have never had my espresso burnt at this Starbucks which I have found to be a frequent complaint I have about many other locations. A great place for a quick coffee or to sit and chat if you are ever this far south! read more

Great service here. Normally I come in and try something different, today was the iced oprah chai tea in which I asked the barista his recommendation to which he gave me a sample! I was a decent amount but I ended up ordering some and really liked it. The staff is very receptive and honest in their opinions which I really appreciate. Wifi is pretty good and I can charge my electronics and work in a spacious environment without being bothered. I only wish they had larger bathrooms (only one person can go at a time). Other than that, this is an excellent Starbucks to visit and relax before heading to the Keyes. read more

This is one of the better SB I've visited in South Florida. There are a couple of complaints I have though. It reminds me of the inside of a refrigerator dark and cold. You come here in the evening you'll know what I mean. This is going to be my study spot for a little while so I may need to invest in a sweater and a desk lamp. The store has to be the largest one I ever been in. They have seating for about 50 people and actually have plugs accessible to most of the tables. There is wifi and it's quite roomy inside, though the folks working there tend to play their music too loudly. Most of the clientele seem to be tourists, so there's usually somewhere to sit. Not the best Starbucks. The first issue is that they make their drinks light. Meaning 3/4 full. Every time I get a Latte type drink I pick it up and it feels empty. Sure enough it's generally about 1/3-1/4 foam. Then I feel bad asking them to fill it up. It's a convenient stop on the way to the keys but not my favorite location. Oh the second issue.....walk ins are treated like 2nd class. I'm not a fan of drive though Starbucks because the service for walk ins seems like we are inconveniencing them. read more

If there are more than 2 people in line when you walk in, ya might as well leave unless you have plenty of time to kill and don't mind standing in line while the cashier chats endlessly with whoever happens to be at the front of the line. This was my second time stopping by while in Florida City and the same thing happened to me again. I ordered a tall caramel macchiato with almond milk and the attendant didn't put in the almond milk. Then when I looked at the label and saw it wasn't an almond milk, i asked her. She then went on to act like I didn't mention it; attitude and all. I don't drink milk and I was with 3 other people in the car that heard me say that. It was a mistake on their part, ok. No problem. OK Starbucks is Starbucks, but this one was amazing! I stopped after a trip to the Everglades en route back to Miami. First of all - drive thru open 24 hours??! Drive-thru is open 24-hours, and after many late hours I've yet to see the lobby close. Very kitch lobby! I've never used the word "kitch" with a Starbucks before, but there is something to be said for the furniture here, and matched by some excellent service. Coming from Seattle, Wa maybe we have high standards of what a starbucks should be but almost every Starbucks we have visited on this trip was exceptionally terrible. The employees are rude, unhelpful and overall did not make getting the morning brew a pleasurable experience. This Starbucks apparently didn't have hot water and coming from someone who works in the food industry I don't know how they were still open and capable of following sanitary procedures. It could be due to hiring issues and overworked employees during Covid so I hope our next visit to Florida will be different. read more

50% of the time I come here there is always traffic in the drive thru lanes . I do not know what's going on but they take way longer here than other Starbucks . Worst Starbucks ever. Im from naples Fl just on vacation on the way to the keys , stopped at this starbucks to order my regular Nitro cold brew on a venti with ice. The lady who took my order inside the shop had a very weird attitude since we entered the shop i felt like i was bothering her. She inmediately asked would you have your beer with ice? My crew and I stumbled upon this place for an emergency bathroom break. Needing both toilets and coffee, we were lucky to find this quaint little independent coffee shop right off the highway. One of my biggest gripes about coffee houses are the sizes of the majority of them. Long lines, never enough seating, and no outlets to charge my laptop at... But boy, what a huge shop! About 80% of the seats were open except for the one seat I needed... The toilet. Perhaps bigger wash facilities? I got a regular ice coffee with an extra shot of espresso. Patty took my order and was very friendly. She had Disney and marvel pins on her Starbucks hat which made me think that outside of a professional environment, we'd probably be best friends. I also got a little sugar cookie which was on point. I almost got a cake pop but it reminded me of a thing I had with an ex and that was just territory I didn't want to cross. My friend got the s'mores tart which she stated was quite possibly the best thing she ever put in her mouth. All in all, this is such a nice coffee shop and I urge everyone to check it out and support local businesses. read more

Typical Starbucks..the parking lot is tiny and there's a 20 minute maximum on parking (for pickups only) so if you are like me and you want to sit on your laptop and work for a little ...this is not the Starbucks for that. You are better off going to the one that is 7 minutes away. There is way more parking and does not have any time restrictions. read more
