Great stop before going to the keys! Had fresh juices to go and cut up fruit for the poolside. Loved how fresh it was! Parking in th small plaza was easy to find. The service was ok. What a treat this Smoothie & Juice bar is. Was visiting the Homestead area for work, and this place popped up. They have so much fresh tropical fruit to choose from, it's exotic. From fruit cups to paletas, Aguas, and my personal favorite Mangonadas. I love that they have a lot of food options to choose from besides fruit, and is priced well. They have an array of fruit but you can pick four for your bowl. I did cantelope, watermelon, mango, and pineapple. I topped it with the tajin and chamoy (both a must) plus salt and lime juice. The flavor is indescribable. The fruit tasted so fresh. I also got a steak taco. For a fruit place, the tacos are surprisingly really good! All the juices are fresh and tasty they give you an option on what sweetener to put in your juice (don't get that anywhere else) They have the best burritos I always get steak. Only issue is they don't like to answer the phone for orders and sometimes you can be waiting for your food and juice for a little minute but they always have a movie playing to help time past by. The sign is the 1st thing that stands out upon entering the store. They're family owned, and Hispanic/Latino owned business. I ordered 1 Horchata & 1 Strawberry Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie. The horchata was great could use more cinnamon as it was sweet. The strawberry peanut butter banana smoothie; I tasted more peanut butter than strawberry, and it was thick had a tough time trying to suck it up. Lastly; I wish the kitchen was opened at the time we went. I was in the mood for tacos, but they weren't opened for food section. It's easy to find and located next to a laundry mat in a very small plaza in Fl. City. There's a huge parking so we always park right in the front. It makes it easy to choose exactly what you want. We always get the juices which you can have prepared fresh or already made. We get the pineapple and watermelon juice. They are both absolutely delicious! Be careful because there so delish that it'll make you want to just keep drinking till the last drop! They have a variety of fruits they get delivered daily so if you don't find it, they ran out. You can mix and match all your fruits to your liking and have it topped with their Lucas seasoning or pepper or whatever you'd like. They had mango watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, melon,cantaloupe, cucumbers, broccoli, and more. They have acai bowls and smoothies also available and again, you pick your own fruits. They also have seasonings, authentic mexican treats, and plant leaves used for cooking and teas available. We've got a taste for Mexican food so when we heard they started selling food we were overjoyed! We had to try a bit of everything so we had the pastor, and steak tacos, tinga (chicken cooked in a red sauce) tostadas , and our last visit we added the sopa. We had it all topped with onions,cilantro, cotija cheese, refried beans(beans only on the tostada and sope) lettuce, and crema. Avocado we added for $0.50. They also gave us chips and even grilled the jalapenos we asked for. The 2 sauces they gave us were also so delish I was spooning it into my mouth(I have a thing for sauces). One was a smoky tangy flavor, the green one was spicy and just perfect. We were so stuffed we had to just sit there for awhile,LOL. Good thing they had a flatscreen so we just watched tv for a mintue before reali,ing we were going to be rolled put of there. Why didn't anybody tell me about this place before today? Ok... To be fair, my friend had told me about this place a few months ago. However, it wasn't until today that I had the chance to try them out. Pulling into the plaza and seeing the business signage made me extremely happy. I recall saying to my father, "we made it!" as I wore this wide cheesy grin. As you stand outside the door (closed might I add), the aroma of fresh fruit permeates the air.
