I found my beverage a bit bland. I ordered a strawberry frap but it mostly tasted like water. I believed they could of added more strawberry purée. But my sister had ordered a matcha frap, yet it only tasted like milk. This location isn't as good and I recommend trying the local cafes nearby instead of here. read more

This location was my regular daily Joe place. Coming back and see the new update of the store - addition foyer and gender neutral bathroom. And the Latte is as good as it gets, as usual. Although the price has gone up. Staffs are nice. The store can be more cleaner and neater. The furnitures and chairs and table stands seem beaten, and sticky. I didn't stay too long, maybe they tidy up the space later when they are less busy (?) I hope they do :) Still nice though. read more

Hit or miss. I'll admit -- I don't even know how to make a proper cup of coffee myself, but I do know you shouldn't handle trash and then prepare someone's drink without washing your hands. In the past, I had an order of 3 drinks where all were made wrong (ex: pink drink was not emulsified at all and looked like it had been sitting on the counter for hours), but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a new barista. However, I was not impressed with my most recent order. I ordered a tall, chocolate almond milk shaken espresso with light ice and one shot of espresso (normal is two). I understand that when ordering light ice, it's custom for the drink not to be filled up all the way. But I received a drink that was 3 quarters full in a *tall* and thought that was incredibly stingy, especially for one shot of espresso and a drink that was almost $6. I gave 3 stars just because it's not everyday that these things happen at this specific Starbucks, but when they do, it ruins the rest of my day. read more

Decent Starbucks, there's a mix of some really nice workers and others who purposely ignores you. Overall location is convenient there's a parking lot since it's in a huge plaza complex. Depending on the time you go they may run out of certain items (ie peppermint syrup, chocochips, etc). Hours are a bit weird and inconsistent, official website says weekends and monday they close at 4pm, and other days they close around 8 or 9pm, but I found on other days they try to also close at 4pm. read more

I love how well the barista made my violet drink w/ 2% milk and 1 packet of Splenda. I have been to this location few times it's usually very busy but today was bit a slow thankfully no waiting around. They have a nice seating area but sometimes its dirty as people leave their trash behind at times (well it was a little dirty every time I went around midday) Oh don't even worry about parking as it's abundant. Its 7pm on 12/29 and I just left the Starbucks store. I wanted to complement the Asian barista with black hair and the Caucasian barista for their amazing service. These guys literally helped me scan the items to see if they were on sale. And the Asian guy helped me go thru the steps to make a sugarfree version of my fave drink. I can't get it exactly as I want but he got me pretty close. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND. SO HELPFUL!!! If I lived close by I'd be here just so they can make my drinks. But if I'm ever in the area, this is where I'm coming. Thanks for your help guys! This Starbucks occupies a pretty special corner of Great Neck. It's a few minutes' walk from the station, so convenient location, but it's rarely packed out the door. The service keeps it moving and is friendly. At times, I close out the place since they close relatively early (it's a suburb thing), and I'll notice the baristas dance and sing to music while cleaning, and it's clear they're enjoying their jobs. How heartwarming! The reason I like this Starbucks is because it's cozy (+1 for sofas), has a table for laptops, its bathrooms are generally well-maintained, has strong WiFi, and has very few Persians. And before you say, "Darya, you mocha me sick, how could you say such a thing?" I know that's a weird pro, but if you're from this town, you may sometimes (read: almost always) need a café that doesn't feel like it's in this town. So I may get in a latte trouble, but there you have it. Come here to for a little escape from the town and enjoy your skinny vanilla latte in peace. read more

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BORDERLINE OFFENSIVE!!! My mother and I walked in to order. The cashier greeted us and do the usual. He asked what can we get for you? So my mom got one of the coffee blend and handed it over to cashier. She said the word stop because she wanted to refill the card first and pay with her credit card. Last week I was at this location. I observed an irate customer that was dissatisfied with his drink and was yelling from the top of his lungs causing a scene. Deontay the shift supervisor deescalated the situation. He managed to calm the customer down asking him how he could help him. He listened intently and gave the customer another drink to his specification. In the end, the customer left satisfied. Deontay provided exemplary customer service. He has the caliber of people skills that would make him a great manager. I was very impressed to see how this young man handled this incident with professionalism. Keep up the good work! read more

So I asked this girl that I asked for extra almond milk but she kept saying I ordered no almond milk. Besides a nearby Dunkin Donut, this is the only chain coffee location available every morning for people commuting out of Great Neck. It is conveniently located in a Plaza parking lot across the street from the train station. I like the speed in the location and the fact that it is usually clean and not so crowded. The coffee is Starbucks coffee so love, hate or tolerate it - it's all the same in location. I knocked down a star though as one of the regular works there during my morning commute, a lady with black hair, has pretty poor attitude. Just saw her ream out another work in front of customers for (I think) being too slow and another time saw her almost get into an argument with a customer who *gasp* asked her to remake a drink. Normally wouldn't knock a star for this but adds unnecessary drama in morning commute. Otherwise all in all a good location. read more

Im so pissed. This was the first time I ever went here and when I come back I'm asking for a free drink because I was wronged. First of all, I asked nicely for a triple espresso with a SPLASH of coconut milk. The person at the register looked pissed as he took my order. Once I received my order, it was in a venti cup FILLED with coconut milk. The baristas are unprofessional - making inappropriate comments while talking to each other, speaking unprofessionally to customers, and just poor service. This is by far the slowest starbucks I have ever been to. The "baristas" (if we can call them that) hang out and talk about their weekends and comic con with each other while the line grows, and grows, and grows. I mean, it's cool to keep the atmosphere light, but not when your discussion requires 100% of your attention. Also, some of the "baristas" are downright nasty. I go 10 minutes out of my way to go to a different starbucks because it actually saves me time. The only benefit of this place is the clover and the fact it is new inside, with (slightly) better parking than the old location. read more

Came in at 7:45AM to grab some coffee while I waited for my coworker. As I walked in I was immediately greeted at the door by an employee. The line had 3 people on it and all the seats were already taken. The place is clean and bright. Employees are nice and efficient. My coffee tasted great. I was in and out in 5 minutes.
